ladionline: What is my business with what you belief as to hell? Am I sitting on judgement throne on nairaland? My point is, clarify your argument that yeshua is a gay. own up to your own claim or second thought, as you have remove the point in your post. That's all. 'Eke sise 'o pe 'ama lowo lowo, Ile dida ko pe 'a mala, ojo atisun l'ebo.' - Orunmila. What about all the truth you don't know? That's why i'm not your follower. Please answer asap.
Hebrew 4:15 states that No holy man has been free from moral weakness- must include Yeshua

John 13:23 & 25 A disciple who was the beloved of yeshua, resting on his breast

John 19:26 Mary(his mother) standing by the one he loved

Matthew 19:12 Jesus states that some are born as "eunuchs". and some are made eunuchs of men. And others who have made themselves for that's good for the kingdom of heaven.

Romans 1:24-27 God causing people to be homosexual

Jesus himself acted gay and supported gay, all his ministries professing love to his male disciples and begging them to love him too. In the entire NT Jesus doesn't seem to have feelings for any woman or profess love for any female, he only did that wit his male disciples.

Simon Peter was a married man, he didn't let him stay wit his family, he instead allowed him follow everywhere

Are these the features of A gay or straight man?

Ukuts gp: We christian refer to pagans as those who worship idols and ancestors instead of the true God who made heaven and earth.
It's nt ur job to give meanings to words that already have meanings.

Paganism is wat zenopee and I have explained, don't distort English

Pagans don't worship idols, No one on earth worships idols, the idols are used to represent the unseen gods who we honor for blessings and fruitful living

You are either ignorant or hypocrite because even Christians don't worship The God that created heaven/the supreme God.

christianity is reformed paganism, and still slanders it's sources
Christianity Etc › Re: The Atheist And The Pagans Should Stop Insulting Jesus Now by macof(m): 11:30am On Nov 20, 2013
zenopee: It seems many don't even understand what the term paganism mean. Paganism I̶̲̥̅̊s̶̲̥̅̊ a pejorative term, nd it refers 2 a group of historical polytheistic religious traditions primarily those of cultures known 2 d classical world. It was actually popularised by the early xtians 2 refer 2 non-xtians, nd was derived from the Latin word paganus- which literally can mean heathen. Paganism as used in ancient Rome meant one who has no little or no religion and who delights in sensual pleasures and material goods; an irreligious or hedonistic person. Clearly this doesn't define the African traditional religion, nd it will be wrong if we refer 2 d African traditional religion as paganism.
From ancient times 2 now, it has been used as a derogatory term 2 put down others that have different views on religion. I recommend further reading on the etymology of the word for those that don't know its meaning.
You make good points wit u are saying...lemme add more

Paganism is an ethnic practice.
The indigenous spirituality of a people.

Paganism is mostly associated with polytheism and pantheism. however a deeper look at ATR proves monotheism

Pagan is a Latin word meaning "villager"

Paganism is not best referred as a religion but spiritual philosophy

Most definitively the Jews were not good under Moses or Joshua. I stated earlier that no one is good.
In my culture and personal conviction Nazi was bad but if in Germany Nazi was the best thing they had, while no one should disturb them.

So the Jews were not good even when working on the orders of Yahweh?
Culture › Re: A Short History Of Yorubaland With Pictures by macof(m): 7:32pm On Nov 19, 2013
The first mosques in yorubaland were built around 1600AD, but by then all Yoruba were still glorious pagans

The first Yoruba Muslim converts were around 1700AD in Oyo

other Towns followed and Islam had reached everywhere in 1900AD

The first Muslim in oyo was Solagberu

I wonder how and why some Yorubas were stupid enough to leave paganism but it wasn't easy, it took about 300yrs of Islamic evangelism.

The gods shall deliver the Yoruba nation from Islam

MetaPhysical: Give us a translation of the creation myth. Demistify it and give us a dumb down version of the crypted code to support and validate Oduduwa's origin.

On the migration side, If Iwo Eleru was Oduduwa's birth place, then we should find that Olokun deity as well the Araba priesthood both had origin in Iwo Eleru and migrated with him to Ife. Wherever Oduduwa's origin is placed both Olokun and Araba share in the footprint. So can you confirm that Olokun deity and Araba both originated from Iwo Eleru?
Even I can't interpret it correctly, our ancestors were smart in coding things.

The creation has little to do with Oduduwa(the king), it's just because it's the Same name that's why people are confused. Humans don't fall from the sky. Oduduwa that came from a chain to create dry land refers to the dark energy which the big bang theory talks about

Olokun deity is the spirit/force of the ocean not a human

I honestly don't know anything about Araba, could u share wat u know about this?
Culture › Re: The Arab Origin Of The Yorubas by macof(m):
MetaPhysical: There are two camps on Oduduwa founding of Ife.

1. The Creation myth
2. The Migration myth.

The creation myth says he descended from a chain from heaven to a primordial water on which he spread sand and placed a cock to spread this sand and this was how Ife was created.

The migration myth says he was of AfroAsian descent and travelled through other lands before ending in the savannah and settling in a place they named Ile Ife. This myth points to similarities in tongue, arts, rites, priesthood, customs and even facial features and tribal marks between Yoruba and other ethnicities in those landmarks through which their migration journeyed.

You are either in the creation camp or the migration camp.

Now, its my turn to probe.

I would like those who dismiss the migration myth to share with us how Oduduwa descended and where the chain he descended from is kept.

What was the chain anchored to in the suspension of his descent onto the waters?

He was the first mortal in Ife and had 16 children before dying, where did he get a woman to produce these children?
All u posted here just makes me laugh

The creation myth is not literal, everything about it is very symbolic and used to represent something else, it takes a lot of study to decipher and crack open the whole thing. One thing to note is that the Orisha are forces of nature and not human figures. So when u hear "Oduduwa formed the dry lands of earth" it doesn't mean Oduduwa the king but Oduduwa an unseen force of nature that represents darkness and land, The dark energy of the universe like the big bang theory states

And the migration story isn't a myth it's real fact- Oduduwa came from the east of Ile-Ife(I always think of Iwo Eleru to be his birthplace) he met hundreds/thousands of people already settled there and was made the first king due to his intelligence and knowledge, it was believed that he was the man of prophecy and probably possessed by the certain spirits

God has no say in human lives, it's our conscience that guides us, Ur supposed God's definition is still man's definition

Ihedinobi: But you think for some reason that theists would be better off listening to atheists, @bolded. How does that make sense?

Note the two statements I highlighted. You are declaring without mincing words that pastors and imams give only one side of the truth and deliberately blind their congregation from the whole truth. What is this side of the truth you mean? And what is the whole truth?
He is trying to say, before u believe something or someone that says others who are not part of u are evil and doomed, u should hear from the accused people first and compare the two sides

Many Christians are guilty of this.
How many of u know about Islam? Well I don't even care about Islam but it's still important to hear their story before u condemn them(I have, and I see no sense in it)

Many Christians don't know about the spirituality of their own ancestors.

I first got interested in Yoruba spirituality from newspaper, then I started checking the internet for wat I could find- I found it very interesting and wanted to know even more(just because it's my ancestral spirituality), I went to ancient Towns and villages to gather info, from interest and curiosity, I found out that christianity has been lying against paganism all this while, I found out how meek and morally pure pagans are(not the blood sucking people they talk about in church) but highly spiritually enlightened people who forgive all the wrongs done towards them by these foreign religions.
I found out that the Orisha/gods are not demons or mere idols but somethings important to our lives.
My revert(not conversion) to Yoruba paganism was because I found out for myself that lies make up christianity.
I found that paganism made more sense and was very logical(at least far more logical than Islam and Christianity which I have learned)

No one would preach for u to convert to paganism
No threats, No compulsion but all pagans ask is to learn wat they are about for urself before condemning.

May Orunmila guide us to truth

alnaijiri: Macof, are you from a Francophone country? I can barely comprehend your written English. All I can see is senseless prejudice against Muslims, especially attacking African Muslims as "Arab slaves". If Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, is an Arab, and the Holy Quran (instructions of God Almighty to all mankind) is in Arabic, why should we not honour his ethnic group the Arabs and the Arabic language, which is doubtlessly the most holy of languages and the most beautiful to the ear?
I didn't post in French maybe u have problems with understanding English

I am not against muslims, Allah deserves all my respect and I love all people of the earth- Arabs inclusive

But Islam honors an Arabic pagan god so why should non-arabs be muslims? It's mental slavery at the highest order.
As an African belonging to the Yoruba/Ashanti or wateva ethnic nation u should honor the God of ur nation.
You might be totally brainwashed to think Arabs are ur God chosen people, but everyone is God's chosen, Islam doesn't make u worship God any better than Hausa pagans who have regard for their ancestors unlike a lost soul like u who insults ur ancestors and glorify Arab ancestors.
Are u Arab? Because if u aren't Arab u have no business wit Islam, Islam worships Allah- an original pagan chief god of Arabia

Yoruba people are now reverting back to paganism gradually, because these few reverts respect and love their ancestors and doubt wateva insults their ancestors.

I cannot take insults against my ancestors, I'll smash ur head if u say poo in my presence

This isn't tribalism but mental independence and pride in identity

Koran is not for all mankind to obey, we can read and learn valuable lessons but not to live by such books because they were composed by men. I can't imagine myself living and thinking in world a book has created in my mind.

You don't have to honor any foreigner for he has his nation and u have ours, Arabs are foreigners and honor should be to ur ethnic nation alone

Every language is beautiful, no reason to over admire Arab- just because u are Muslim and have become their slave,

If u have any sense, if ur parents didn't drop u on ur head when u were a baby u would know that u are slaving urself to Arabs, and many people are like u.

Islam needs to be kicked out of Nigeria

Am sorry if I offend Islam, because I am not against Islam for Arabs it's their own religion, Allah is part of their spirituality.
Iam only against Islam for Nigerians and Africans in general
Africans don't have to pray to the name-Allah
Africans don't have to knock their heads while face men's bottom
Africans don't have to go on pilgrimage to the kaaba

Everyone has his own God, worship ur God with all ur heart and leave the foreign name Alone.
Leave the foreign religion

If God Almighty choose to honour the Arabs, who are we to tell God that he is mistaken? All of North Africa, Levant, Iraq were non-Arab before the advent of Islam. Now they have all been Arabised, and for their own benefit. It is a shame that the Islamic land south of the Sahara was not Arabised. It would have made this area more developed like the North African coast.
God almighty has honored everybody, Arabs are not better than anybody in the sight(not literal) of God,
Ashanti people are blessed by God just like Arabs
Yoruba people are blessed by God just like Arabs
No supreme, No better people, No discrimination from God.

Yes North Africa and most of the middle east has been taken over by Arabs but to their own doom

They have all lost their identity, imagine people thinking Syrians, Libyans, Moroccans and Egyptians are Arabs.

They lost their languages, Lost their spirituality and forgot their history

You are a bloody liar and ur stupidity and brainwash has gone deep, Foreign influence and devotion to foreign religion can only bring backwardness

By the Gods Nigeria shall be liberated from foreign religions, because if the people get to forget their history and lose their identify it would spell doom for them

Progress is in China today because they Embrace their paganism, they also believe in the spirituality enlightened belief of Buddhism, this however doesn't sire them to Buddha neither do they care about Buddha's nation, they just see sense in Buddhism and practice it alongside their own spirituality. This is a Great nation that cannot forget it's history, lose it's identity or have slaves amongs them
