NextD18: You are unnecessarily bothered and looking for problems where there's none.
It takes the grace of God for a woman to be loyal and respectful to her husband after relocating to America. It's take the grace of God for that to happen, because it has been statistically proven that 99.591% of Nigerian women v'got high possibilities of changing to a disrespectful and wild dogs to their husband once they relocate to the West.
Kindly appreciate and encourage her. Stop complaining! She's a reserved type! You should be thankful to God, because when she'll start being over expressive, and wild towards you, you'll know it's better to live in hell, than to live with a disrespectful and wild woman in America.
You are unnecessarily bothered and looking for problems where there's none.
abokikhalifa: Legendary Nollywood veteran Pete Edoochie was filmed dancing. In the short video trending all over social media, Pete Edochie was seen doing the traditional ogene dance with style. Watch and enjoy.
Odogwu!!! Agu!!! Ebubedike!!!! The man that swats away the noises of haters like flies running from heat! Okosisi!!! May your days be long!! May we have many more days of drawing from your wells of wisdom!!! I salute you! The spirit of the Ogene is upon you indeed.
What the government should have done is to put people coming from high risk countries like South Korea, Iran, and Italy under automatic quarantine.
The Coronavirus is a virus that can spread even during the incubation period. This means, a person may not show symptoms but can still spread the disease.
Incompetence will not kill us in this country.
A key government official recently said coronavirus was caused by corruption.
It is this people Nigerians gave power in 2015 to lead the country.
lol You want him to kill himself ? Dont you know some people on the internet are simply foolish and seeking clout? Ogbeni ignore this challenge o! No go kill yourself.
The North views the terrorists in the same mould as the Niger Delta Militants. Hence the are keen to give them everything that the likes of the Niger Delta Avengers got. They will not stop until they get them everything- a Commission, scholarships, vocational training, way back into the military, etc, no matter how absurd and globally ridiculous Nigeria looks like.
To put Nigeria's leadership in the hands of a group of people who never fought for independence (the Southerners did that), who never fought for the transition to democracy (again the Southerners did that), is a terrible thing. If done it should be with one who is a democrat. I still do not know what the South West were thinking. You think you will just hurt the South East? Such foolishness. Have you ever tried collecting a gun from a violent but calm-looking man? It doesnt work that way. Those terrorist will become Army commanders and preside over the South West as well.
1StopRudeness: You’d be surprised our fire-brigade trouble-shooting treatment strategies pays off sometimes.... that's the same way Ebola entered Nigeria and we ended uo with compensation from who for managing the threat despite our poor medical system
The Ebola fighting mechanism of Goodluck Jonathan is currently been studied and written about in top medical journals. Even America's CDC came to Nigeria to learn how she dealt with Ebola, lest we forget. It is always down to leadership.
Iran is the most interesting. How did they get so infected when they are far away from the focal region, under sanctions and all? And it appears that key people central to the government are infected. The health minister. The vice President.
Sirjamo: Five girls died the night she was kidnapped, her life is not more precious than theirs and nobody is talking about them because they were Muslims.
Whether you like it or not, the numerous useless protests and tones of lies your Christian leaders have been spreading around the world about that girl's abduction has made her a valuable commodity to boko haram, and they would hang on to her for as long as possible!!!
No one is preventing the Muslim women from protesting too.
Sirjamo: Exactly what Boko haram wants. As you continue protesting all over the World, you are giving boko haram free publicity
BH has now realize that all they need to do to gain more popularity is to kidnap 100 Muslim, 1 Christian; release the Muslims after some time, keep the Christian and boom, they'd be all over the news more than usual.
Perhaps you can go and rescue her so that Leah Sharibu's mother will stop giving Boko Haram what they want?
haywire07: I still find it hard to understand how someone will confidently walk into another man's farm with his herd and begin to feast on their crops.
Nobody should come here to shout 'it's Buhari'. I don't want any false political energy this morning.
After all, this farm invasion didn't just start a decade ago. Infact, as far back as 2004, a very little fulani boy had threatened me with a bread knife while I was returning from school and passing a short cut through a farm .
Then as at 2008, I watched my first exclusive leak tape in which the Fulani tribe overran an entire village (I think in Jos) splitting even babies' heads in twos with their panga
They believe that the land is theirs. They believe that the regime will protect them. They have the blessings of the regime to do so.
These are the reasons why someone will confidently walk into another man's farmland with his herd and begin to eat their crops.
ursullalinda: Were you forced to wear the costume?.....or u didn't feel the weight while putting it on....just accept defeat and move on.....this one you wan come Africa?......seems he has heard about our juju....hahaha.
AJ lost to Ruiz in the US. He went to "Africa" and came back to beat Ruiz in the rematch.
Wilder lost to Fury in the US. He went to "Africa" and came back to ....... If you know, you know.
ty4real123: There have been this notion that Igbos are all Christians, well I present to you, the first open Igbo Muslim marriage. Igbos are know to be very accommodating. Many have had this erroneous belief that Igbos don’t have Muslim brethren but in fact many Igbos have heard many positions in the Islamic arena.
We have the likes of Sheikh Abdullahi Adam Idoko, who is the Chief Imam of University of Nigeria Nsukka. Ustaz Christian Isah Okonkwo, who was made the Chief Imam of University of Ibadan in the 1980s, Alhaji Abudulaziz Chibuzo Ude, who is the founder of Nok Publishers and First African editor at Double Day.
These awesome couples are set to tie knot on 10 of April 2020 in Imo state Nigeria,.
Handsomejok: Before marrying my wife, my business was moving well. I had an appliances big shop with full of things. I made a lots of money monthly and was able to pay all my bills and take care of my single mother and siblings without fail.
Bbut since we got married, just two months and 5 days after our marriage, my shop caught fire. I have lost almost everything only managed to save some few things, had to pay for all the damages to my landlord (the shop owner ) I’m still owning him money and I’m now renting a small shop but things are not working.
I have so much debts to pay to so many people including my previous shop landlord, can’t afford a 3 square meals, can’t afford to pay house rent, can’t afford to pay my shop rent and we have moved to my parents house.
My wife is pregnant and due in April, we haven’t bought anything for the baby. I wish never met her in my life cos she has completely destroyed my life and I have nothing left. She is evil. Haven’t confronted her cos of her condition, don’t want to add more stress to her and am waiting for her to put to bed then I will confront her and chase her away. I will keep the baby with me so she can go with her child she had before we met. I just hate her so much and I want nothing to do with her anymore.
Please what do you suggest I do?
When two people come together, each brings his/her own assets and liabilities. Physical assets and liabilities. Spiritual assets and spiritual liabilities. It is important you deal with the spiritual liabilities before saying "I do".
She is your wife. You cannot hate her. You cannot compound issues by calling her evil. You need to spiritually find a way out for both of you by going to God in prayers.
And another Amen! A Big Amen. And may your life be just the way the evil party you support ruled this country for 16 years. You and your ilks. If they had done good, PMB won't even be there at the moment. Hypocrites of the highest order. Hisssss........
LOL. I love the way you wrote Amen. THe beautiful thing is that I never supported any government for 16 years. I am not sure my Nairaland account is up to 16 years I was a big critic of those governments. So say your "Amen" and go. Which you have done. Dont forget to collect your N3000 from the BMC office in Jabi.
adelaja70: May fate run your LIFE the way PDP Governments run this country for 16 years, AMEN.
Hahaha! Fate doesnt run my life, Jesus does! You want to know Him too? I wanted to respond to you, but realised that I never "mentioned" you in my tag. So I'll let this slide and respond to the fellow I tagged.
Meanwhile, it is getting strange that every Tom, Dick.and Harry from this evil party that brought this evil Boko Haram upon us as a nation in the first place are now turning to Technical Advisers suddenly. Criminals that couldn't do anything for a decade and watch Boko haram kill thousand and thousands of innocent people. That people could not go to their place of worship for over a whole year. Back then, if you see an ordinary the polythene bag (nylon of akara) on the floor, everybody start running helter skelter thinking it's gonna be a BOMB! Same evil party that denied Boko Haram kidnapped 286 of our teenage girls before the world stood up to burst their bubble! They rather share the BILLIONS meant to procure ammunition for our soldiers to tackle this Boko Haram insurgency (when it was still at infancy) among themselves and watch our soldiers die!! Only people with chicken brains must have forgotten all these atrocities. That is why we call them hypocrites and children of hate, perdition and frustration. More of the reason we sent the ineffectual buffon packing.
Our darling country will win this war as a nation, and all the politicians sponsoring these killings along with anyone supporting them will all die miserably and terribly in due season.
God bless Nigeria.
You’ve done brilliant today. Go and request for your N3,000 from the BMC HQ in Jabi. Proud of you bro. May fate run your life like the way Buhari is running this country. Amen!
luxy44: Don't be a perpetual idi.ot. This is not about Tinubu or any name. It is about us. Our right! Our lives. Or is Tinubu your president, VP or IG?
Don’t be silly. The Fulani feudalists are politically tied to the South West. Unless the South West should that that alliance can be broken, NOTHING will happen.
I suspect you know this anyway.
They only respond to threat to their political dominance. Has there not been countless protests before? What has that achieved? Nothing. You think this will achieve anything? You lots have a lot of energy chasing the wind A protest without calling out the political leaders indirectly and directly responsible for these needless deaths is just an exercise. I suspect you know this anyway.
Speaks a lot about your ignorance if you don’t know it. It is historic. May the soul of the dead rest in peace.
Meanwhile, Nigeria is currently in a Failed State stage. Survival and existence is what you do in a failed State. Not playing around with political permutations about 2023.
These guys are unserious, sadly. A protest without calling out Tinubu who is the main political elite from the South West enabling this Abba Kyari regime?
Where did the protest call out Osinbajo? Or even Buhari and Abba Kyari?
JasonScoolari: Really touching video... Seeing a father cry like that is really heart shattering.
I wish the father of the slain footballer noticed that there's a guy on a long vacation called JUSTICE since the inception of this lifeless administration.
Sad.
Nigerians are experiencing what it means to exist in a Failed State. Nothing completely surprising here. President Abba Kyari will not sack the IG. If the Service Chiefs are allowed to continue despite Boko Haram and the number of small arms and weapons in Nigeria exponentially increasing, is it ordinary IG that will be sacked?
Tomorrow go and vote for a man who is a tribal bigot and incompetent again. Bring him in.
Dont mind these grown women. You read about Germany and you are exposed to Hitler and the evil Nazi machine, yet you were convinced that a German man is the best human being for you. Especially one whom, from reading your piece, isnt a Christian and doesn't walk by the Spirit. Hitler and the Third Reich is their ancestor. They didnt just murder 6 million Jews; they used African bodies for experiements and kept them in caves. And yes, murdered them. Generally, a white man sees a black woman as a sex slave, a sex symbol. Especially if they are pretty. It didnt start today. They called their offspring Mullato- mixed race children born, usually, after a white man rapes a black woman.
I have no pity to give you. Many will read this and still look for white men at clubs. You don’t know what you are doing.
AfroKnight: You have labelled him a rapist because he decided not to be fooled by the allegations of a woman. She never reported rape. Nobody sexually assaulted the woman, not the landlord and certainly not the poster you quoted. But you had to call him a rapist. Why? Cos he dared to challenge the truth of an allegation.
You have only exposed your gross ignorance and the mental laziness that hinders you. Dummîes like you joined the mob and “cancelled” Johnny Depp and labelled him until he was fired from his role as Jack Sparrow, based on the stories of a woman who played the victim. Today, hard evidence has made many of you hide your heads in ignominy.
You must have been playing with monkeys the day your creator shared logic to human beings. People like you are the perfect candidates for Boko Haram. Idîots with the herd mentality nursed into them on the breasts of foolishness.
Mandem12: I had to open a new account for this, pardon me for Punctuation errors. I have to go straight to the point so as not to bore you... My story goes thus
I'm a young man of 25. I met this very beautiful girl, aged 23 now, we've dated 4 years now. She's so humble, the love grew out of nowhere. She does everything a woman would do for a man and I do everything a man will do for a woman.
I found myself not doing anything without her and she cannot do anything without involving me, we actually love each other very much.
She started pestering me to have a blood oath with her because she was scared I would leave her. I laughed it off cos I knew I wouldn't cheat on her, she is everything I wanted in a woman.
Trouble started when I brought her home to meet my parents, I was actually happy that I had found my wife...
When she left, my father asked me where she was from, and I told him and my father told me I can't marry her because she was from the same village with me and thereby related by blood thereby marrying her is an abomination that she was my sister so to say and said our kinsmen would not be Involved if I insist on marrying her... I felt my world crumbling down like a pack of cards...
I told my girl and she was like, it's an old tradition and nobody will dictate to her who she would marry and she loves me and there was no going back...
As a man, I thought about it and wanted to let her go because I wouldn't want the stigma to be on us and my unborn kids... I showed her some attitude to make her hate me but she didn't, rather she would rather beg me not to leave her even when I'm at fault. I feel bad anytime I do anything to hurt her feelings...
Now, I actually want to get her pregnant and damn the consequences, do a court wedding if the need arises and relocate with her out from our state and start a new life elsewhere...
Another mind is telling me to let her go so we can move on with our lives, or even be a fugitive for her... I however know she will hurt herself if I leave her... I'm very confused about everything, I seriously need help... Why is Igbo tradition this way? I found love with this girl, now everything is about to be stripped away from me, just like that... I seriously need an advice please...
I love this girl so much and she make me happy
Please move this to front page so I can hear from others please...
Sounds like wilful incest if you go along. If she’s from the same village then you have the same bloodline.
Sin against man and God. The world is already complicated as it is. Don’t let so-called love make you to use your hands to complicate your life further. “Love” should be the last thing to consider in marriage, in my opinion.
The US CIA will see this Boko Haram senator and impose visa ban and Nigerians will cry and say Trump is racist. Foolish Nigerians. Instead of calling out this senator and jailing him, you are insulting America.
