fxuser: Continental Re Trend - currently trading below its 200dma & 50dma , so bearish tendency is high - typical low volatility behaviour - Weekly RSI breaking below 50 , bearish momentum - Weekly MACD breaking below the zero line after so many months above - price pattern is also very jigsaw , anyways behaviour lacks FOMO capacity for explosive moves (up or down) - recent price action is bearish, price trading below prev monthly close and weekly close , nt far away from its 52 wk low at 1.31 - with price drop comes the attatractive PE and div yield hence ur attention has been drawn to d resemblance of a bargain or bottom i guess
my issue with dis type of stocks is d very irregular low vol Example: 05 Oct: 3,000,000 traded 08 Oct: 354 09 Oct: 34,365 12 Oct: 9,450

I am just curious.. PRIMARY MARKETS IS NOT FOR RETAIL INVESTORS..... TAKE LARFARGE FOR EXAMPLE, THEY DID RIGHTS issue for #44 last year,it was over subscribed, Larfarge sa even bought all the rights not taken up by retail investors......today larfarge is #22.......... |

THE best time to buy stocks is when foreign investors are selling (election time and global financial crisis), the best time to sell stocks is during periods of stability when everyone believes things are rosy, two years into any administration.... The best fundamental investors are the fpi like msci,na thorough work them dey do,they exited forte oil (my bride) ages ago "how did they know dat nigaa otedola wants to use company money to fund election ? " The best Technical investors in nse are the retail investors like Agba , cp , Rabbi , fxuser ( them no want the small money wen dem get enter gutter) them no dey looose but they are also contented with 30% profit.....but the problem is they are few in numbers or there money is so small it cant move the market.......they never talk of dividends, its only fpi dat talk of dividend yeild... |
election bear is just an excuse. what is driving the Foreign invaders away was imminent devaluation of Naira, proposed removal of fuel subsidy for the sole purpose of funding education and health, the planned increment in power tariff, The proposed deregulation of forex These are the reasons Mr. Bear persists. The invader are happy getting the $ at dz present exchange rate, Dump the portfolio get the $ and wait till after selection... Sorry election. FYI.... This is the reason our foreign reserve( keep going down daily as a result of high demands by foreign Invaders. QED[/quote/] $$$$ Dollar $$$$$$,,,, The gold standard in storing your money, I still possess the dollar I bought 6 years ago @ 197 naira @ the black market, it can buy me more stocks now than 6 years ago with their dividend join.......seriously |

yok: MSCI PORTFOLIO MOVEMENT- AS AT 7 SEPTEMBER 2018/GENERAL COMMENT
The market is becoming the joke MSCI that says “if the white Guys are to come to Nigeria or Africa for slave trade again, there will be no resistance from people, they will offer themselves freely”. I am not happy to make this comment. The MSCI seems to be the only player in the market for now. The MSCI invested as per their current mode of interest, but Fidelity Transnscorp and increase their holding of the only Oil Company in their portfolio.
This scenario is dangerous for the market. If MSCI stops buying , the prices may drop further. However I will say the market is still good for me, serious loss recovery is going on. We may start to see some action in the banking stock from this week.
At this point, I will go into my mathematical model (try to detect slowing momentum of the down trend) to see a good point to start buying. I am sure a good profit will come from somewhere in the market soon.
Caution: This is for information purpose only. Data used are assumed to be correct. However, you may want to verify the data from an appropriate source. Also, Institutions can afford to suffer big losses without going burst compared with an individual, you cannot follow them blindly (you need to at least have some knowledge/your own plan). N:B 1. Due to the fact so many new people are coming to this forum and may not know this use of following the “big monies that move markets”, I will be indicating why/how to use the information. This will be a permanent future of my post to reduce some comments which may prevent the people that understand the system from confusion by people who have not followed how this started. My comment for today for anybody who doubts the efficacy of following the fund is to look at my recent recommendations for the past 2 months.
2. The fund will still hold some equity, the terms of service states this. Thus no matter the condition of the market, it will not liquidate to Zero. This is an equity fund investing in the Nigeria market.
3. You cannot bear losses like the fund. The pocket of the fund is too deep. Therefore, as an individual you are not suppose to be in the market during the stock markt crash. Before or during the crash, reduce your holding.
4. If you are seeing this type of data on MSCI for the first time. You may need to verify the figures. Go to my previous posts, you will see the various sources where the data can be verified. mr yok, aside msci any other major fund managers(fpi) you know of .... pls post links |

aremso: It may sound funny but as far as am concerned, otedola has removed his hands from that company not until another investor pump in money, I can see the share in the region of 10- 16 it was before. I predicted this to my friend when he sold 15% of his holdings though I was able to jaaa at 42 no loss though. So my brother the choice is yours. The following points must be in your mind: the company that has its revenue from power and suddenly wants to sell off all the sub What will happen to them if all the sub are sold off and nothing again to give them revenue aside regulated down stream? If am in your shoe, I will bail out for now and re enter lower fo has more than 90% of their assets as "awaiting to be sold"......OK if its sold are they going to do what gsk did by distributing the proceeds to investors |

Godlylifeoneart: The truth be told, MTN is bleeding Nigeria economy due to high level malpractice in collaboration with unscrupulous regulatory staff of Ministries, agencies and parastatals. If mtn is bleeding nigeria what can you say about dangote,,,,,,,one thing in nigeria is that some people are above the law,,, i think mtn & diamond stepped on the wrong toes, thats why they are suffering.......just take a look at oando and japaul.....anyway this is naija not all malpractice is a malpractice |
