When Emefiele was coloring the naira because of just one thing Election, not taking into consideration the implications, you all are praising him. Now it's dawn on you all. At the end the person he did the naira colouration against ended to be be your CIC. Move on Election is over. Join hand to build the country.

Most Nigerians youth are very Lazy. All I hear on this forum everyday is DOLLAR DOLLAR and DOLLAR. Even people that doesn't have anything to with dollar will just be talking about it instead of them to go out and do better things. Even the Americans don't talk about Dollar the way Nigerians talked about it everyday. They only measure the performance of the govt with only DOLLAR everyday
Bad news about Dollar everyday to bring the country down.
Have positive thinking about your country. You don't have any other country
na Nigerians go think and bring the good news? Who devalued the currency and increased price of fuel? Abegi!

Govt left the very important priority that will change the Nigerian economy and are chasing shadow. You can't achieve anything in Nigeria when the cost of production, which is fuel and power is on the high side. It will fail woefully.

For manufacturers to make profit, they need cheap and stable power, raw materials etc.

You have time to be replying these evil and greedy people! You only complained of vast price disparity, and they are all justifying high cost of goods. They are even happy for this high cost. Just mark their names and see how they will complain about government and inflation later. Evil and hypocrisy
why aren't Nigerians complaining of middlemen 2yrs ago? Or dont we have retailers then? Àbi u don't know the retailer will fill his cooking gas, buy fuel, buy diesel which are all double expensive from the meager profit he makes from the business?

People are wicked in this country.

Greed will finish us in this country.

Go to trade fare and see how street retailers are ripping us off big time.

My wife bought her body cream CT+ at the rate 2100 at trade fare yesterday while in our area retailers are selling it for 3700.

Kk brothers soap my wife bought the pack for 7k(6pieces) while one is sold for 1700 by retailers.

Her sanitary pad she bought 1 pack at the rate of 1050 while retailers sell for 1700.

Even strike bitters sachet pack(20 pieces) wey I dey always use console myself i buy for 2000 she got it for 1450.

Note she didn't even buy at carton price but at pack price because if she was buying in carton the price would be lower that than.

Just yesterday I bought a derica of rice on my way back home for 900 around oshodi terminal while the seller in my street is still selling for 1300 despite price of bag of rice coming down.

We are own problem.......everyone is wicked in this country.
as at January 2023, don't we have retailers in Nigeria? Why were prices of goods not inflated? Channel your blame appropriately and leave the retailers out of it. A retailer who is buying diesel at 1500 per litre, fuel 700 per litre, pays exorbitantly for power, and you expect same retailer to sell cheaply?

Welcome to Tinubumonics, the only Nigerian President to Bring down the Dollar, also Crashing the price of Petrol,Diesel, Aviation Fuel and Kerosene.
I keep saying The battle for the Soul of Nigeria has started, and I'm sure Asiwaju will triumph.
Asiwaju is a Genius and he has assembled a stellar cast of very intelligent people around him.
Some months ago, precisely in December when one of his advisers said the Price of the Dollar will crash to around 800-950, some Nigerians made fun of him and taunted him,but Today his prophecy is being proved Right.
I daresay Shame on those prophets of Baal who were predicting 2000 to a Dollar, and I prophesie it's just the beginning.
Some days ago, the NNPCL made an earth shaking announcement that didn't really gain traction as I expected,Crude oil sales will soon be done in a combination of Naira and Dollars, this is what I call the Final coffin in the Nail of Dollar speculators.
Buying Crude oil in Naira is what I call a game changer, the Modular refineries will soon start roaring to life, and I daresay Diesel, Aviation fuel will soon fall to less than 700 naira.
The demand by these Refineries for Usd is gone and this will allow more forex to remain in the Country.
For those still listening to Olodo Economist like Aisha Yesufu,I implore you to quickly dispose of your Dollars if you are a speculator, the fall of the Dollar will be massive and heart wrenching.
Nigeria is back to Business.
God bless Asiwaju
God bless Nigeria.
go and buy fuel first sir.

Not everyone will be a farmer. in the USA, less than 10% are farmers and they feed their nation while here is the reverse, yet food scarcity
don't mind the dude. Dem go just dey shout Nigerians should go into agriculture like say if everyone go into agriculture, who will do the other jobs left behind. In saner climes, less than 10% of their population are into mechanised agriculture and they are food sufficient, yet export in large quantity.

Every billionaire in Nigeria is into oil. You'll neva hear any of them in the agro-allied sector. This is where the govt should give tax reliefs to divest more billionaires into the agro value chain. What is the govt doing to encourage companies into food processing to backward integrate by investing massively into agriculture? A country with little or no seriousness to make inroads.

don't we have middlemen before Tinubu became president? Price of fuel, price of diesel, cooking gas all av a direct and indirect impact on the final cost of goods and services in the market.

Wittyness
every Nigerian mustn't go into agriculture before Nigeria will have food. Agriculture has gone beyond the 18th century approach Nigeria is adopting. In USA, less than 5% of her population are into agriculture and yet feeds the entire nation accompanied with surplus for export.

My question remains, why are our multi billionaires not venturing into agriculture? They have the money to establish large plantations but won't do so. Giving small loans to farmers will never produce enough to feed the nation. The rich billionaires in Nigeria should go into mechanised agriculture. This is where govt must come in. Encourage investors to go into the agriculture value chain with little or no tax at all.

If Buhari despite his poor leadership according to you, Nigerians were able to buy fuel at #160, diesel at #800 cooking gas at #600, a bag of rice at #30, 000, then I wonder what you call Tinubu under whose watch we've fallen deeper as a people into penury. That being said, it is my pleasure to remind you all that Jesus loves you and wants you to repent and get closer to him. Read your Bible more and pray always. It will be well with you.
but she started out in a polite manner. The other lady sef get trouble. This situation can neva be a problem btw guys, cos the first set of conversation wasn't bad afterall.
