The jews created their god in their own image and according to their customs and values, they then went ahead and propagated him during the middleages mostly through wars, the greeks and romans came in afterwards, removed some of the qualities of the jewish god which did'nt conform to their culture and values. they also removed some of the qualities of the jewsih god which they disliked and added theirs, now here you are saying that god choose the jews, god did'nt choose the jews the jews choose him to serve as an answer to most of the things they did not understand about life and the world in general. they used their god to justify all their atrocities againts their neighbours, they used their god to justify all the unnecessary wars, land snatching, raping of women and enslavement of their enemies/nieghbours, because nothing could justify such actions but a tribal god that will always be on their side who they created in their own image to give them justification for all the henious crimes they perpetrated against other people that are not like them. unfortunately for them the europeans came out of nowhere and stole their god, modified and propagated him through out all the lands they conquered and enslaved since they europeans had conquered more lands than the jews the new god gained more acess to the world than the tribal jewish god. . . . . the europeans were wise to make the new god versatile, compassionate and universal unlike they original hebrew god that was very tribal and manovalent. go and create you own god and leave the jewish god alone, arabs created their own allah (and are still propagationg him all over the world like the christains), so did the indains, yaruba's created sango, chinese created buddah, the south americans too created theirs, every part of the world has his/her own god some have died while most are still alive, go and create your own god and live the judoe/christain god alone

see all this people running round in circles, as for your claims about miracles why is it that all purpoted miracles are never visible? why can't god heal amputees and make their amputated body parts regenarate? why does miracle have to do with sick people most of the time? why do christains go to hospitals if miracles truly work? why are'nt people going to prayer houses for miracle? why are there so many christains in the hospitals? why does'nt god heal blind people? why can't god heal people with leprosy? why can't good heal people with visible aliments like amputation,leprosy,blindness or polio? moslems experiece miracles too dont they? hindus experiece miracles too, so do vodoo people. . . . . every body experiences miracle in one way or the other and no body can claim that his god is the only god of miracles. . . .  my muslim friend just got a very big contract in a very strange way, i must confess that i was awed and astonished. . . .  all the odds were against him cos he submitted his application late due to his mother's  bad health condition. he went and cried to his mallam and told him how badly he needed the contract. the mallam directed him on how to go about with some islamic  rituals, he read some specific verses in the koran that were given to him by the mallam, offered some special prayers to allah, went and got the contract and attributed all the credit to allah. how is his story different than that of so many christains? this story that i just narrated happened on wednessday. . . . .every bopdy is giving his/her god credit for all the good things that happen to them in life. . . . there is no evidence to show that christains have their prayers answered or recieve more miracle more than moslems and vice versa. . . . . why is jehova god and not allah? what are the evidence to show that allah is not god but jehova is?. . . . . . i need real answers not empty rhetorics. . . . . .

They have no consensus about the basic definition of that word, and are as divided over the issue as ever for eons. Yet, you have a problem with 30,000 sects in Christianity. Even when you look closely between men who argue under the cloak of "science", you will find that the drama extends to atheists who are authorities in evolutionary biology. Both Richard Dawkins and late Stephen J. Gould were atheists, and yet they were ever so in disagreement that one would wonder what happened to their rationality.

Test whose patience? Do you mean the god that virtually was a killing machine in the old testament? Do you mean the god that created people but ended up destroying his own people because they didnt care about him? Why did he go through all these stress of populating the world and later drowning them? Does that show that such an intelligent all knowing god exists or doesnt that smack off a rampaging child who has lost his rattler and is ready to destroy everything in sight until the rattler is found?
