Xander85:I can't even remember the date I posted this topic. It must have been a very long time and I'm lost with the discussion so I can't respond to you appropriately. |
deomelo:That isn't his problem really. His problem, as a matter of fact, is hatred…hatred for a person, the president; and hatred for a people, the northerners. He's therefore so blind to read facts. What a shame. |
obaival:Do you people have sense at all? Haba! Can't you guys just be objective, at least for once?! Do you know the gravity of what Fayose has just done? Can you imagine the collateral damage this will do the lives and property of Ekiti people ? Think brother, think! Do not allowed hatred for a people mislead you into mischiefs. |
OZAOEKPE:If I were you, even as much as I don't like PMB and the way he's handling this matter in particular, I had sit back and think…what, one hundred harmed herdsmen, with your security details retreating, and you still have the nerves to stand and shoot!? I don't believe it. You see bro, this big men and politicians can't even stand the sound of 'bangger', you know 'bangger' now, don't you? Not to talk of the sight of an AK 47. You know, all of them are just using some people's misfortune to benefit their own selfish interest, and it's quite pathetic. And this is the more reason why we, as common citizens, should not take all what they say hook, line and sinker. I hope you understand me. Peace. |
fergie001:To buttress your point more, USA 94, Emmanuel Amunike and Daniel Amokachi were taken out Italy to knock Nigeria out of the world cup; Nigeria also had Ben Iroha, who does the dirty job us. He'll take out threatening players without a card: Traore comes to my mind at Senegal 92 African Nations Cup There was also Bright Omokaro, at Maroc 88 Nations Cup; he took out Belloumi, the Algerian tough man after Nigeria had already been reduced to 10 man. It was from there that he got the famous name Mr. 10:10. |

MrsNwaAmaikpe:Oga, take am easy na! This person you're cursing can feed the whole of your family and the next generation without blinking an eye lid. E don better for you? Shuoooo!!! |
Hello everyone, Please I need help here. I drive a Toyota Sienna 2007. It developed over heating problem to the extent that water mixed with the oil, you know, it gulp more than three bags of pure water sachets the day it happened. Now, I've been given several options: grind the cylinder head; to change the cylinder head; change the radiator and water pump, and so on... Please, what exactly should I do? |
..by Caxton Fatanmi.. THE NIGERIAN MEDIA IS ON A NATION-WRECKING MISSION..... In the Press Conference at The White House reception for the Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari yesterday, this is one of the statements made by his host, Mr Donald J. Trump, the US President, to wit, Quote : *"ALL LEVELS OF GOVERNMENTS IN NIGERIA,LOCAL,DISTRICT,NATIONAL, MUST WORK TOGETHER TO STOP THE KILLINGS OF CHRISTIANS AND MUSLIMS....."* *Donald J. Trump...* End of quote. Read the newspaper headlines in Nigeria today.... - THE PUNCH : " KILLING OF CHRISTIANS IN NIGERIA MUST STOP" - TRIBUNE : "PROTECT NIGERIANS AGAINST SPATE OF KILLINGS" - VANGUARD: "KILLING OF CHRISTIANS UNACCEPTABLE" - THE GUARDIAN: "KILLING OF CHRISTIANS IN NIGERIA IS UNACCEPTABLE" Question : What informed these newspapers from mis-representing a straight-forward statement by President Trump, rending it divisive, emotionally-charged and inflammatory as they did ? Apart from perhaps The Tribune, all these papers spinned the story to their mischief-making ends. Both Vanguard and The Guardian literally used the same language. Are they owned by the same stable or led by the same Editorial Board ![]() For a long time, I have held to the thought that the so-called menace of "Fulani Herdsmen" on the rampage was an invention of the media... These criminals are likely offshoots of Boko Haram, now expressing their enterprise of terror in other ways; or some sponsors are behind these unwarranted and criminal killings in some parts of Nigeria. I do not see professionalism in the behavior of these media outfits. Rwanda started like this, before the pogrom.. Every democracy needs a fair, honest and uncorrupted media. The Nigerian media is losing it, please.... Corruption is not only material, you are also corrupt when you twist the truth to serve a nefarious end. This is what these Nigerian newspapers just did...... - Caxton Fatanmi |
dealslip:THEY LET LOOSE THE DOGS OF VANDALISM AND DEATH: BEWARE OF THE TRICKS TO WAR! *"Be vigilant, wary of those who kill for political reasons to resurrect religious war"* ~W.F. Kumuyi When commissioned Dogs of War attack your communities dressed in a particular form to mislead you, such that they even get into a church building to knock off a certain number of people, what do you do? Do you go about killing Hausas and Fulanis in your immediate environment and even proceed to burn down their mosques just simply because you think or believe that the killers were Muslims? What if the killers are what I refer to above as Commissioned Dogs of War? Ok, if the invasion of a church by gunmen to kill worshippers triggers you to begin attacking and killing Muslims and even burning down their mosques, who should Ozubulu community people have attacked when gunmen killed dozens of worshippers in a Catholic Church there last year? When bombs were going off almost every Friday in mosques in Kano few years ago, which people should the people of Kano have attacked? Up till now "Boko Haram" suicide bombers detonate and kill themselves with bombs alongside others in mosques in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa states, who should the people in those towns or villages attack or whose property or worship centre should they burn down? Zamfara people are also being killed by the same variant of Dogs of War, so who should they also revenge on? All killings are bad, reprehensible and condemnable. But it shouldn't be deliberately turned into an ethno-religious propaganda tool for mischievous political ends. There are certain persons or groups who would rather have the country go up in flames than to have the country focusing on how much they stole and ruined the country. These killings benefit only them. Don't fall for their antics! |
SalamRushdie:In as much as I diss Buhari, what you, my friend, posted up there is a pure lie. QED! |
ashjay001:I was going to say that but the fool is still ridiculously claiming that it is not in Ogun State, but close to Lagos. |
thesicilian:You forgot to add that the robbers here are not armed robber but pen robbers, they need no gun- according to Fela, "pen get power, gun not get. If gun dey still 2million naira, pen go steal 2billion naira...You no go hear them shout...Thief thief " |
debolayinka:All what you need is just a re-orientation. |
smulti: And where did you get that from...? That's not correct at all, it is not correct. |
I have known it for a very long time that nikkah with pregnancy is wrong, null and void, why then wouldn't i wait till marriage? Alhamdulillah, just a month after my wedding, Allah has blessed us.My wife was heavily pregnant when we had our Walimot Nikkah in December, having done the Aqidun Nikkah in August. And the Officiating Imam announced to the audience about this fact. You see, there's a clear difference here. Some of the comments on this topic didn't take my scenerio into consideration. Doing "wedding with pregnancy", like you all put it isn't bad in itself, you have to know the circumstances, which may just be similar to mine. |
RIPEnglish:In fact, I was forced to asked one woman if she wanted to use the fuel, as kerosine, to cook. You need to see the number of kegs she has, and I'm quite sure she doesn't have a car. |
OlaSpeaker:The bold part are the only reasonable part of your comment but you destroyed them with the other irrelevant and childish talk. |
Well, it has taken me this long to join in this discussion because I've only been getting snippets of the issues and mostly from my fellow Muslim brethren and of course with biased analysis. But with this analysis, I thought anyone going to the law school, with all the forms filled, as claimed by the OP ought to have known what they're entering or going into. Besides, I will put the blame on the door steps of past leaders of the law school and legal profession who are devout Muslims. They ought to have find a way, adroitly, to change the law which wouldn't have brought about this fuss. As per the lady in question, she ought to have known, and I'm sure she knows, but only wanted to pull some stunts. She isn't only the devoured Muslim that has passed through the process. And a better way of changing the game would've been to lobby the senior members of the law profession and who are devoted Muslims or ask the court of the land to intervene after she must have qualified as a barrister. By and large, she didn't apply wisdom. #IDon'tStandWithHer. |
mbhs139:I have received more than enough bashing after making this submission. Just like I said, I don't like to comment on issues on this forum. Now I've been proven right. You need to see the volume of name calling and what have you after I said I stand to be corrected. Wonder if you of nowadays cannot make their point without resulting to abusive language. |
Obijulius:You see my friend, I hardly comment on this forum, for obvious reasons, amongst which is the lack of decorum exhibit here. But I'm constrained to comment on this particular case this morning. You see, I think the Igbos, in Nigeria, are politically naive. Unlike the Yorubas and the Hausas, how can you expect every Indigbo to belong to just one political party-APGA? No one wins a general election in a polarised country like Nigeria? Take the SW for instance, before it used to be the AD, then it transformed into AC, then ACN and now the APC, all in their bid and effort to be relevant at the centre, aligning with friends and foes alike. Remember the saying in politics "no parmanent friend, no parmanent foe". But the Igbos sees every other person as their enemies. Well, this is my humble opinion and I stand to be corrected. |
marttol:Your comment is a reflection of your maturity. |
robosky02:He didn't say God, he said god. Calm down. |
lurther:What a childish way to reason, in the 21st century. Have you heard of injunctions and restraints by a court of law before? That's what Indime will apply for next, against the Senate and its leadership, never to embarrass him again and so on and so forth. |
charlsecy:Young man, abi na woman you be, my comment was in response to another person's comment. I never said this particular one committed suicide. Is that clear now? Good. |
AerialMapper:What comprehension are you talking about? I only reacted to what you posted. I comprehend that the young girl died after a brief illness, she didn't kill herself but you were the one that brought up the issues of "the way people kill themselves these days...", hence my response. So, you can see, who need comprehension lesson now? Go and read your MacMillan English boy. |
hezy4real01:At the bold part is exactly where the problem lyes. Parents, these days, are something else, and it is the result we are seeing now. These are the same parents who toiled day and night to become who they are. Now, they are also toiling day and night for their children to become what they ought not to be. And the most unfortunate part is that they will continue this toiling till that child of theirs grows into full grown adults, and sometimes even beyond. You can imagine Nigerian parents following their children to go and write post utme in universities; following them their to do registration and all other stuffs. You'll now wonder, when will this child be independent and do things on their own if they can't handle little things like this? My parents didn't know the road to my secondary school, not to talk of yabatech nor Unilag while I was at these places. |
Samusu:What "Sunnah" are you talking about? Is it not better for one to keep mute rather than exhibiting one's stupidity for the whole world to see and clear their thoughts? |
hezy4real01:If the young souls, who are still being fed and clothed, are so frustrated to the extent of committing suicide, what then should parents, who are responsible for their feeding and clothing do then? I heard one of them killed herself because she failed chemistry. What a cowardly life he or she lived. He/She should've come to ask me; I wrote 4 GCEs just because of Chemistry only, and wrote UNIJAMB and POLY JAMB, as they were both called then, a combined times of six. But today I hold a masters degree in mathematics from UNILAG. |
diana158:Young man, at the bold part, I don't think that's why "Nigeria is still where it is..." It is beyond that. Corruption, I agree. |
it will never be well with pmb
