BCuZiMBlaCk:
The coach shouldnt forget that it was osaze who helped them escape relegation last season. Its unfortunate he has injury
was that not his job?
was he not rewarded with a new contract for that?
Arabambi1:
something is definitely wrong somewhere.
I want to believe he should be criticizing the medical staff and not Osaze unless he thinks he is not really injured and question his commitment because I hardly see a coach criticizing his player for being injured and unavailable. The fact that he collects record 55k for the club seems to annoy the coach. that alone gives pressure and I think Osaze should concentrate on getting back to form and silence his coach.
that is the crux of his argument.
He has consulted the medics and they are not convinced Osaze's case is physical.
it is well:
Whats the problem with this coach. Na Peter injure himself?. Hodgson should be guided o. If not,
if not what? Boko Haram will bomb his house?
I beg leave matter. Roy Hodgson has bigger issues to sort out.
Osaze should sort himself out.

Is Osaze doing charity work for Roy?

Roy is not a man to speak flippantly.
I think the lad has an attitude problem that he needs to sort out himself.
this is a case in which there will be only one winner and it is not Osaze.
If he throws his toys out of the pram, Roy will be proven right.
If he sits up and delivers, Roy would be proven to have given him a kick up his backside.

Crime › Armed Men Storm Silverbird Ph by mbulela(op): 8:18am On Nov 25, 2011
Armed men stormed Silverbird in Port Harcourt days ago and one of their victims, a young female house officer is lying critically ill in the hospital presently. Poor girl returned to Nigeria months back to do her house job due to parental pressure and now she must be wondering if she did not make a mistake.
The spate of robberies in PH and even kidnapping is begin to get alarming again.
I hope Amaechi is not spending all his time in Abuja soliciting for clemency for Sylva while Port Harcourt is being raided by bandits?

The Verdict according to Olusegun Adeniyi. Email,olusegun.adeniyi@thisdaylive.com

When, late in 2006 President Olusegun Obasanjo anointed then Katsina State Governor, the late Umaru Musa Yar’Adua as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate and his Bayelsa counterpart, Dr Goodluck Jonathan as his running mate, he believed that also gave him the liberty to pick the PDP gubernatorial candidates for the two states. In Bayelsa State, he simply gave the ticket to his Special Adviser on Petroleum Affairs, Dr Edmund Dakouru (an erstwhile NNPC Group Managing Director who is now a traditional ruler) who in turn gave the ticket to his Special Assistant, Mr Timipre Sylva. In Katsina, Obasanjo met a resistance.

Solozzo:
Any group that has strong fraternity bonds and sworn to fight evil against members is very likely to develop into a gangster group especially if there is a society with poor justice systems and strong belief in traditional medicine powers. No one can remember when these fraternity groups were not seen as campus terrors. That is the method they used to influence campus politics, fight injustice and strenghthen bonds in future. Soyinka had a strong and stubborn personality, and in his younger days, probably would use any means to fight evil, including aggression. After all his name was never Saint Wole. With more maturity he became more peaceable.

That is my take.

Nigerian consumers must learn to vote with their pockets.
That is the only thing businesses understand.
There is no need complaining and still going to buy their tickets for your next flight.
unless you are a trader, try and manage the baggage allowance of other airlines.
I see no point travelling in guaranteed discomfort for an international flight. for a local flight i might manage it but out of the country, count me out.
why use an airline where you are guaranteed poor service and malfunctioning equipment 9 times out of 10 when you can use one where you are guaranteed good service and working infrastructure 8/10?
I don't practise patrotism with my comfort and certainly not from my pocket.

goodjack:
Look guys, if you are not in Bayelsa, you will not know what we are talking about. Sylva is a bad jack and he show a great wickedness to Bayelsans. I dont care how he was pushed out. My point is that his pushing out is the best for Bayelsa. He achieved nothing and stole a whole lot of money.
He knows that the court and mumu EFCC will move him around for sometime after he is pushed out completely. How can he threaten to kill the President of Nigeria ad a silly jugde is busy giving paper signed which they call injunction or something. That is bullshit or Bull POO or Bull Pee. Wack them.
I am in love with a daughter of ones of his commisioners but that doesn't change any thing. She is not happy with what is happening but I am.
you are mixing up two distinct points.
the ineptitude of Sylva and the crude execution of his removal.
Sylva is a product of PDP and a godson of GEJ. If he is useless, the fault lies with PDP who produced and propped him up for four years.
The crude and shameful farce called a primary leaves a bitter taste in the mouth of any decent person.
The two issues are unrelated and must be serperated.
By the way, i hope this Dickson guy besides being a boy of the powers that be, has enough substance to deliver progress to the state?
Politics › Re: Dickson Seriake Wins PDP Governorship Primary In Bayelsa by mbulela: 9:56am On Nov 21, 2011
this Goodluck chap can't organise a piss up in a brewery.
Ordinary primary he and his band of court jesters can't execute without rancour and confusion.
Is it so impossible to organise a decent primary and have his preferred candidate win in a decent manner?
What does the law say about INEC observer status at a primary?
These PDP clowns are begining to make ACN's selection process look appealing,as undemocratic as it is.

Oh!! I have taken a stand on numerous occasions, but since I came to the realization that the majority of Nigerians, even on this thread, are simply not ready for change. I am a member of an aggressive minority but it is wrong for me to IMPOSE my views on others, so I choose to debate them instead . . . I happen to accepted that it is OK to debate for therapeutic reasons. Yes, I happen to be one of those who debate for therapeutic reasons and I see nothing wrong in that.

I just wonder what your problem is with people like me? Na bad thing to debate for the fun/ therapeutic gains?

I THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN FOR ACCEPTING DEFEAT AND NOT JOINING ISSUES WITH THE GOVERNOR IN COURT. BY THIS THIS YOUR SINGULAR ACT, ABIA WILL SAVE SOME MONEY.

GOD BLESS YOU SIR AND BLESS OUR DEAR STATE AND GOVERNOR.
Chygoz05:
Dear Mr. Dan Onwukwe,
Its a pity that as much as you are educated and enlightened, you could resolve to writing what you think and feel. You have tactfully deceived the public by deliberately hiding the truth from them. As much as i know, six of my friends, formerly in Abia Civil Service are now working in their respective states. We all know what happened was a transfer of service which did not only happen in Abia State. It has become very important for even roadside hawkers to read the dailies and be abreast with happenings around them, Dan Onwukwe inclusive; lest they open their mouths and say rubbish. Let us learn to strike a balance when reacting to issues and stop being biased. Governor T. A. Orji has come to be The Executive Governor of Abia State and he has come to power ONLY through the infinite grace of God. Ill sayings can attract God's wrath because Ochendo did not just become our Governor without His consent. I wish every body well.

How about they pay compensation to my girl friend. There bloody navy cocked a hostage situation up and blew her late husbands head off. Widow now for 5 years and never recieved a penny .

An utterly corrupt country at every level. They rip-off people with internet fraud and Nigerians commit serious crime in the UK. I would be delighted if all UK airlines were to avoid Nigeria forever. Perhaps the Nigerian government can pay compensation to us for the huge sums that have been stolen from UK bank accounts as a result of their unwillingness to root out the perpetrators.

Just stop flying there. Solves a number of problems.

Stop going there then.

What the hell is going on, Nigeria usually extort money secretly.

They're operating the plane, they can charge what they want !

Ah Nigeria. Maybe they ain't making enough money from internet scams anymore?

oh piss of nigeria- all countries have corruption but at least ours isn't so obvious

Who would want to fly into Lagos and such like if there are limited flights here then of course the price will be high it's all about supply and demand. The most corrupt place on earth and they have the cheek to moan they'd sale their own kid if the price were right.

Wow, trebled their GDP instantly, Greece will try it next

Mr dear friend, Is this anywhere near burkinp faso? - because I would most certainly advise against flying in this area -as there is £milllllllions of cash waiting unclaimed in banks.

In fact, they could use this money to pay off fines !!

Stop flying there and save the UK a fortune in bogus welfare claims and other scams.

tell them to take a flying F, K AND STOP ALL THE AID WE BRITS ARE SICK OF BEING TAKEN FOR A RIDE

If i was BA or Virgin,i'd tell them to f, k off

lol, nice one. scams in a larger scale now?

Some nerve eh. The biggest scammers on earth. Tell them to take the money out of that which all their illegals send home from here. The best solution is just don't fly there anymore.

my comments were not racial, but have been deleted. why ?

and on what Authority can they make them pay this obviously exorbitant amount of money, they should just pull all flights coming and going from this #$%$ hole country.
I have never felt pity for any victim of 419,not even one.
I am no fan of 419ers but that i think there are more important things to worry about than 419 victims.
At the root of every 419 is greed.

The Indomie TV ad is hopeless.it seems they just played the lovely radio ad in the background and got a woman and kids to act it out.
Etisalat adverts are all top class, everyone of them.
Hypo is very effective.
another lousy ad is the GTB ad where the guys were playing football and the girl i nthe heels joins them. silly ad.

Why do we nigerians suffer from amnesia. Was it not this same guy that shared money with bankole. I can remember he was one of those who was against the probing of the 360 cars bought for 6 000 000 naira each (there actual cost was 4 millon naira) and the 360 touch-lights bought for 18 000 naira each (touch-light made in heaven. wink) by the last assembly. When Keyamo brought up the case, himself and Ali Ndume condenmed nigerians and dino melaye for asking questions. He was part of the leadership at that time.
Even someone i respected very so much in the person of Abike Dabiri, also defended Bankole and the leadership (because bankole made her chairman of the house committee on diaspora). They were busy buying computer monitors for 500 000 naira each, they even bought tooth-pick and other items for members at extremely high rates.
Since then, IMHO they are all thesame; they are all first class thieves. angry
of course we have forgotten.
We Nigerians are so easy to please. all these political gymnastics that generate no motion can excite and entice us.
I wonder on what basis Abike Dabiri earned your respect?
I have long given up on this country of ours.
No one, not one of these clowns has my respect and nothing they do now or tomorrow surprises me.
I applaud him on rejecting the award but my respect and trust comes at a higher price and i doubt any one in the NASS can buy it.
