Phonix1234:It has a higher chance of being carbon monoxide poisoning than being an AC leak as the gas used in AC is not fatal even when it is leaking. |
Carbon monoxide is a suspect, seeing the glasses all wound up. I nearly died inhaling same. It is a silent killer that first puts you to sleep (knocks you unconscious). I just used my last strength to stand and turn off the offending generator. In a car with glasses up, you stand no chance if there is a leak.Carbon monoxide is odorless and colorless, hence it is a silent killer. They may have stopped for chat and left the engine running, the leak could have filtered into the car; it is a quiet silent kill. All these are just speculations, an autopsy could give us a clue. What a sad way to go. |
corporateDan:If your phone number is there, the post office people will call you when it arrives. 17 days is not too long for an unregistered package to arrive; it can take up to 60 days to get to the destination. |
mu2sa2:The groom to be deserves all the help he could get. This is the worst nightmare. Our drivers don't help matters, they pack people in cars without seatbelts. They overtake in blind corners. They do all sorts of acrobatics, for what you may ask? Just to shave off three minutes. Is three minutes worth a life? Our commercial drivers seriously need orientation as they are usually the worst culprit when it comes to flouting road traffic regulations. |
Communication can go a long way into stopping a war. I wonder why people will rather die than just say what happened. At least, give the aggrieved some closure. This saga is like that of a parent with a missing child, each day someone reports seeing the child in a city 300 mile away. Another week the child is said to be 20 miles away. Next month the child is supposedly dead, but there is no body to show for it. Don't you think the parents will be better off really knowing what happened to their child? All that can only occur when someone who really knew what happened to the child steps up, to tell the truth, the truth may just be the child is dead. But then again, not knowing is never good, moving on becomes hard as you keep hoping it will be ok. Peace to everyone. |
makawhy201:Not a permanent feature... You can use it for just the test. But the idea is just to show you can get a 15A real adapter, it's there in the Nigerian market. Thanks for pointing it out though. |
earthrealm:Why not buy an inexpensive 15A plug adapter? And swap your AC's 15A plug with a 13A plug just for the test ![]() |

henrixx:Just an honest person is giving you the full details unlike most people in Nigeria where chats are answered as if the person will be persecuted and the jail time will then be based on the number of words used in a reply. ![]() |
freemanbubble:How the heck did I know all the people you mentioned here? ![]() |
Not all ends that way. Congratulations to the happy couple. I'd like to use this opportunity to announce to ladies that if a guy suddenly decides to marry another, it is not the end of the world. Just move on. No need for the type of drama I'm seeing on the #tide2019 on Twitter. |
If it's our brother's in black, we will most likely read something like this, "The gallant men of the force was on ground when they noticed two hoodlum with a package running into the nearby bush. They gave chase but unfortunately the men got away. But investigation are still continuing and the men will soon be fished out. The victim is recuperating in an undisclosed private clinic... ponziponzi:A lot of things still needs to be done in this country called Nigeria. But till it's done, I guess we just have to help ourselves. |
MrDojo:A 50w solar panel can charge 8 numbers of 200ah, but the question will be how long will it take to fully charge it. To answer your question, the number of panels you use is dependent on two factors, how fast the battery drains and needs to be recharged (which is based on the load connected to it) and of course the number of batteries you are charging. The more the load (bulbs, fans, TVs, etc) connected to an inverter, the faster the battery drains. Two 150w solar panels and one 300w rated solar panels are the same (if both are from same make and age). BUT if I'm to hazard a guess without knowing the load, I'd suggest four 300w for two 200ah batteries or two for one 200ah battery. As for the price of the solar panels, it is dependent on make and condition (new or fairly used). Wait, the marketers are coming ![]() Charge controllers are two types PWM or MPPT. I think a good PWM may just do the trick. But if money is no object, get yourself an MPPT solar charge controllers as they are pricier. |
ponziponzi:. If you see there are no roads, what happens to waiting till you can conveniently overtake? |
Careless overtaking by the bus driver who if alive should be charged with |
Never knew people still reason this backward in the age that cars drive itself, people have landed on the moon, AI is truly revolutionizing the way we do things, 5G now allows a doctor to operate on you from miles away. |
ehissi:I'm 100% with you on this. The people in charge of drafting these soldiers needs a brain check! How can a sane person keep a soldier in war zone for 36 months without break? Damn! |
Even if they can't put ramp on the front door due to design of most rotary security door, except for the likes of those used mostly by the First bank (which is wide and open like a large door), they should at least have a ramp on the side door usually used as emergency/fire exit so that people on wheelchair could access the bank through that way. I saw one in one Eco bank that was built that way. That should be the standard for all banks. https://i.imgur.com/k4pFUsn.jpg <br> https://i.imgur.com/YA5uFsR.jpg |
dapsyra:A blower comes in handy for this issue. A preventive maintenance sure helps prolong lifespan of machines and electronics. Kudos. |

Most people drive as if half the devils in hells are after them in densely populated areas. There should be speed limit in residential quarters. People should be more careful. It's very likely that the man riding his bicycle was not at fault. But now we will never know. Most highways cross residential areas, it does not take anything away from a driver to slow down in such areas. |
brainsmart787:Scam! |
Some teachers should know better. I love my primary school English teacher. She'd always encourage even the worst student to get better through numerous examples. Those are teachers who are passionate about their job not just waiting for a paycheck at the end of the month! |

There is this dude sunlawphy with this thread https://www.nairaland.com/4352619/repair-buy-london-used-tv#65131184 Not affiliated with him in any way. You may want to check on him. Cheers. |
Most blacks in poor neighborhood in America resort to crime. So it is very probably a random black dude trying to make a buck the easy way. |
wolfenstein:That is assuming he survives handing it over. The chances of that happening may not be that high as the robber may probably shoot him to make sure he doesn't call the police or follow them. fergieboy:Will handing over the money guarantee he'd walk away free? That's the big question, I think him fighting the dude is the best chance of staying alive. |
