I can't even remember the last time I bought my some some new wears, for the fair of overpriced cost of wears in boutiques. I also don't hangout unnecessarily with people, because I also like to showboat so I can't do that if there is no shishi

I now bodly tells gurl friend I'm broke, something I would not say on a good day.

I also buys washing soap (premier cool) in packs at home, and other needs I can't do without, cos the one vendors in my area would extort you with over billing.

You can't say it all how one been trying to adjust to this bad economy situation.

People rarely go to the market this days cos you will likely return very sad.

Undergraduates who are tired of ASUU strike can now transfer their studentship to UNIOSUN.

The management of the University of Osun State has announced that undergraduates who intend to transfer their studentship to the institution can start applying now as ASUU strike lingers on.

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has been on strike for over months and the union is not ready to call off the strike anytime soon because the Federal Government has not addressed its demands.

In a statement signed by the union’s president, Prof Emmanuel Osodeke, on Monday, August 29, 2022, ASUU declared the ongoing strike indefinite, saying the government has 'not satisfactorily addressed its demands'.

On the same day, UNIOSUN announced the commencement of the sales of Inter-University Transfer Form for the 2022/2023 Academic Session.

In a statement on its website, the university called on graduates that intend to transfer their studentship to visit its website to submit their applications.


The school also urged prospective applicants to forward their Academic Transcripts to the Registrar of Osun State University.

The statement reads: “This is to inform all the prospective applicants intending to transfer their studentship to Osun State University that the University has commenced the sales of Inter-University Transfer Form for the 2022/2023 Academic Session.

“Candidates that wish to transfer their studentship to UNIOSUN should visit https://www.uniosun.edu.ng or https://admissions.uniosun.edu.ng to complete and submit their applications. However, they must provide correct information which will be verified accordingly. They are also expected to forward their Academic Transcripts to the Registrar of Osun State University”.

The institution said any student willing to transfer from other public and private Universities to UNIOSUN must transfer into the same course as he/she is studying or any other course, provided he/she satisfies the requirement.

It added that prospective applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.5/5.00 as of last session in his/her present University.

The Ebonyi State Police Command has arrested a 19- year-old suspected serial rapist who specialises in sexually assaulting and robbing victims.

Spokesperson of the command, Chris Anyanwu, who disclosed this at a briefing at the C Division of the police command on Friday, September 2, 2022, said the suspect, Miracle Onwe was arrested after he raped his latest victim in a farmland.

“On 19/08/2022 at about 1700hrs, Ruth Nwizi, a 22 year old girl was farming at Aboffia village in Ebonyi LGA, Ebonyi State, when suddenly a young man came from the rear and pounced on her,” he stated.

“The suspect later identified as Miracle Onwe, aged 19, an indigene of Ezzamgbo in Ohaukwu LGA, pushed the said Ruth down and forcefully had carnal knowledge of her without her consent”, Mr Anyawu added.

The spokesperson further noted that immediately after the act, the suspect robbed her of her Infinix Smart 5 phone valued at #45,000 and took to his heels

When the girl raised alarm and drew the attention of passers-by who went after him, the suspect dived into a nearby river with the phone.

“He confessed to the crime. Both victim and suspect were taken to FETHA for post-exposure prophylaxis and laboratory tests respectively. A medical report duly issued by FETHA confirmed that the girl was actually raped”, Mr Anyanwu said.

The police spokesperson said the suspect will be arraigned for rape and robbery at the appropriate Court in Abakaliki.

He noted that the suspect is in the habit of molesting young girls in the area in the past

“It is pertinent to mention at this juncture that the suspect had earlier this year attempted to rape a minor whom he forcefully grabbed in the company of two of her mates. However, as soon as he stripped the little girl in a bid to defile her, people who were within the vicinity pursued him and he dived into this same river. This has been his modus operandi,”

While commending the youth of Abofia village, for assisting the police to arrest the suspect, the PPRO urged residents of Ebonyi State to always rise to such occasion within their various communities and partner the police to rid the State of crime and criminality.

The suspect admitted to raping the victim and attempting to rape the first victim, a minor earlier in the year.

The victim, Miss Ruth, while narrating her ordeal said she wants justice.

In my quest to quickly get out of my underpaying job for a better one, I applied for a vague job on Facebook where I was sent an sms to come for an aptitude test.

I've been feeling awkward about the said company the moment I got there, they are sharing the down floor of the complex with other offices, which made me stopped raising my hopes high. We went through the test and we were asked to come for the oral the following day.

Imagine having to live with annoying alerts from time to time deduction from Banks.

Here is August stupid charges from my first bank account, I know people will say it's just #200 or #250, but my concern is the manner at which the deduction was been done concurrently. If I don't feel save keeping money in my account on the note of silly deduction risk, what do I gain from entrusting my money with Banks? Not that you would add to it but rather make it depleted unnecessarily. Why would you touch my money without my consent

It was during one of the fuel scarcity in GEJ tenure, public vehicles were scarce, I've waited for long at bus stop, a bus eventually stopped in my rear. I was going to hopp in but was stopped by the bus conductor. He in lie allowed another passenger coming behind me to occupy the vacant seat, I was really annoyed and disturbed for the deprivation. I waited for another and was lucky to get one in due time, we moved for just 5 minutes and met this bus (the one that denied me a chance) had lost his break and got spill over some barricade iron. I was really surprised at the view, many people at the entrance of the door were seriously injured. I could only stand and watch with my wide opened mouth. Ofcourse we live to die sometimes, but death can be very selective at times

What's the essence of having institutions on and there are no researches and alot of labs are left in ruined..........which means graduate from mechanical engineering department would still have to go to one road side mechanic to learn how to screw and unscrew. It goes on and on.

Let's have it locked down till a long term amendment is made to our universities.

I won't lie, it's been great, my girlfriend was around me over the weekend, and it all looked like I had a standby power gen to supplement if light was taken, but we didn't even need to do that. The stability of light is awesome. But come to think of it, it feel weird because our suppliers has succeeded in making it look like a big deal to us.

It sound too good to be true. But the msg is well received, everyone same person should know this though but some are just callous and mean to others.

Some lecturers still does that as we speak in our institution, they still boast like they are the real citadel of learning.

They will say stuff like "do you know for how long I've been lecturing? Therefore, there is nothing you can write in your answer sheet that has not been written before"............. With this, you will easily get lost in your track if you are not determined.

Meanwhile, they (lecturers) have not been able to upgrade their curriculum, their scheme to today's standard, its still thesame old crap of outdated materials been used in our lecture rooms. No practical iq, no foresight application. No nothing.

The fact is that, a while lot of peoole, even on this forum are relatively going through what OP just posted, but not all can voice it out.

Nature is very sensitive when it comes to having the required needs and having what it takes to be a happy person. Infact, I can relate with op but mine is not monumental, everyone will get to say one or two insufficiency in the lives.

Whenever I'm running through such, data is life and my phone is always my friend, staying online and sensitizing yourself, reading jokes, solving riddles can reduce you the stress of depression and having a feeling of low self-esteem.

No matter the condition you find yourself, remember countless of people are still wishing to be exactly where you are. Law of nature....
