FatherOfJesus:Well, I would say you and I don't belong to the same school of thought. As I can see that you are deep in this your "bring evidence or leave it" stuff. We can go on and on trying to school each other and at the end,it will look like a parallel line that never meet. I don't have any proof beyond my references and I wonder why you keep bringing the word fallacy and education in this. I believe you can't compel people to their beliefs, you can ofcourse counter responsibly in which I couldn't see in ur writing so far. If you don't share in someone sentiment, then your education should enable you to engage constructively and mannerly. And I think I will have to stop responding you if you persist I moved..... ![]() |
FatherOfJesus:If your moniker says "father of Jesus" it does not relate or justify this your submission ![]() I know you are strong mindedly on the belief that God doesn't exist, but everyone is entitle to air and practice what they preach. Like I said, not all things can be unearthed in this universe of ours but I find it amused when people start nurturing the desire to have a proof of The All Time Almighty God. And you pictured the fact that all things needs to be scientifically proven. Well your belief/opinion is yours. On the term 'Christian's God' I think all religious in the world have these names via the basis of the way they are being practiced. Varieties of God worshippers, at the end, they are all doing it to their creature. My belief You said I was not sent to school to belief that God exist? Don't Powerful persons in the world beliefs in God? Don't they go to Church, Mosque, traditional Chambers and the likes. Are they not learned and wise? Not exposed? I was sent to school not to go against nature and to know my right and my wrongs. I'm not good in writing this long but we disagree to agree. One love..... ![]() |
Let me weigh in a little to my best knowledge. If one is Keen on proving the existence of God, it's a misery that cannot be unearthed but ofcourse as a human being, we are blessed with the ability to critical think and make out some things on our own... Who can prove or tell us the concept and genesis of the blue deep and unlimited blue oceans and seas that cut across the world? I mean, look around you, the signs of his existence are there....... Let's start from the creation of man and animal, life and death and the extinction of all these things on the earth surface. And whenever we have a talk of this nature, the following are what pops up in my mind: Why do we die? Why do you sleep and loose consciousness until you are awake? You don't think all these happens without the existence of a supreme being orchestrating all of these. I can go on and on. All of these are enough for you as a prove to compliment your curiosity. I'm a fair religious person in practice, but I strongly have a belief in the existence of God beyond a doubt. |

What if some unserious persons are making a prank calls to propagate more evils to the suppose security operators? [sub][/sub] |
And I had a similar bad experience doing mine, though a little contrary because I and my room mate were the one whose phones were stolen. We shared a lodge with the indigen family who owns our lodge. We came back after our Wednesdays cds to sensitise the prisoners in their local neighborhood prison. We slept and woke up seeing our noisy door net hung by a stood. Our then new infinix phone stolen already. Till today I still find the sleep on that night as a misery, because there is no way both of us would sleep so heavily without reacting to their operation in our room. Our neighbors promised us they would find the phones and the thieves via a fetish means, but it later died down when they discovered that one of their relatives were involved. And if they went on with the process it would be very catastrophic. Though this happened somewhere close to Niger state. We also had a Catholic priest as our principal, he came and scold the landlord but all futile. No Corp member should go through what this dude went through. It's too much to take. ![]() |
Medicine after death, you will never be able to regulate telephoning costs. You buy airtime with the aim of calling for some minutes, but you will hardly utilise it at all. I and my babe usually have problem on this at all time, when call disconnected while we are on call, it pisses her off, ladies love attentions alot. This one wants me to be calling her every 1 hr. But I no go let telecoms make me go bankrupt all in the name of topping at all time. Even their bonuses is a misery. You will av about 500 Naira bonuses and MTN will be ordering you to buy more as ur airtime is too low to call. But I don burst their truck now. I will just put my phone at airplane mode for a seconds and put it off, their father, my calls dey go again ![]() |
Hmmm I can remember my dad seriously frowned at me leaving the house probably because I'm his only son. I sincerely felt sorry for him My mum on the other hand wasn't like my dad, she was the one even discussing with me during my final year on how I was going to get myself an accommodation outside our home to be independent and get on a good track. My dad to his blessed memory loved his children wholeheartedly most especially myself been his only son. He started birthing at a very late age so he passionately held on to I and my elder sister. I wished to have become great and repay his lovely fatherhood attribute before he's aged but man proposes God disposes. As a male child, you have to leave and find urself a better fit, most especially if you aren't from an intense wealthy home. It's just a common sense. |
Alot is happening o If you think you have seen it all.

Den go even give am excort, wetin you go leave behind when death come. I've seen what happens to victims of romance scam and all sort. I felt too emotionally struggling to hold tears back. Their lives is never thesame. An old grandpa or grandma that you dupe of his/her life savings will mostly have a trauma issue and have their lifetime cut short |
So, I intentionally created this thread under crime and not romance because I found it very ridiculous and alien to humanity. and this could get out of hand if our society do not curb this now.Socialite Bobrisky, releases bride price list for future hubby Controversial socialite, Idris Okuneye also known as Bobrisky, has taken to social media to release list for his bride price. (S)he wrote: “Dear future husband, below is my marriage list before you take me away from my dad: 100 bags of rice Taxi money to bring the bride — 100million Money to unveil the bride — 55million My grandma acceptance fee — 166 million Money for my dad to accept — 100 million Acceptance fee from the elders— 5 million My engagement ring worth ($100k) and so on.

So, I've been thinking about this for a longer while now, then I came across a similar discussion on a platform. Hence I feel like I should share it with you guys. As we all know there are a whole lot of insecurities going on in Nigeria now, just that we mostly narrow it down to life insecurity alone, which I believe our present predicament is way beyond. Amongst them are food insecurity, life insecurity, marriage insecurity, properties insecurity, job insecurity and the list goes on and on. But my area of interest is that of a job insecurity. As we all know how scholars, most especially graduates struggles to meet the end needs as a result of an increasing unemployment index from time to time at the expense of the commoners, the less connected individuals and the likes. However, I have seen a graduate earned as low as 7k to 10k. And they held on to the job since their are no forthcoming opportunities to subtitute with. So, what responsibility would that ridiculous salary cater for in this present economy? Or for how long would the person keep suffering and enduring the chain of time with 7 to 10k?. These are the questions I keep asking myself. So, without streching this write up too far, I would like to ask this: What’s the worst salary you’ve seen a graduate earn? |
As in, why are you notifying when you have already notified the public of your real intention. You see our politicians ehn, wisdom will not kill them ![]() |
WibusJaga:So! So! Sorry madam ![]() |

God1000:Well, we don't know the aftermath of their songs and praises yet. Maybe that was just a tip of an iceberg to what would be coming next |
Two thieves who were caught red-handed in the act, were forced to sing praises to God. Some news outlets in Ghana reported that the two thieves were caught stealing in Oti Region of the country and were forced into a barrel, before being asked to sing praises to God. It is unclear what they were caught stealing, but they were seen in a viral video carrying out what they were asked to do. So, a Nigerian Currently in diaspora updated us about the weather change in the country he is compared to how he used to have it back at home. Realising that it is still day break by 9pm ![]() But I even heard that in some countries like Norway, they could have a day and sunny time for a complete 24 hours without having a sunset mixing the day.
