Greetings all good people, I just got a french tutor as I plan to write TEF to boost my point for EE, I know nothing in french and I dont know how the TEF exam is. Please can anyone point me in the right direction as to how to prepare for and pass. My tutor not familiar with the TEF, tutor is from the French speaking country around Nigeria. Please any useful material I can use to learn and direct his teaching, I already downloaded the doulingo app.

This is the time for armed robbers and kidnappers to get back at SARS. They were evil, no doubt. I was a victim of Police Brutality at age 13. I was wrongly accused of being an accessory to a car robbery, when the only thing i did was to join a group of friends driving round GRA, Benin City. This was around 1991. Till today, i never got over that arrest, not to talk of what the teeneagers of today are going through.

However, we should be cautious about accepting every accusation thrown online!

My father even on his sick bed kept reassuring me that he would pay my final year school fees and give me money for my project immediately he is discharged, sadly he was never discharged. I feel bad because I had payed my school fees and also gotten money for my project but I refused to tell him because i thought he was going to recover and give me the money. I have since lost touch. Cost of schooling is almost similar with U.K, a bit lower though. Also the residence permit gives you access to almost all European countries.
As for job opportunities after, you need to consider the language barrier. I.T jobs are in abundance though.

You can go directly to the school website. My Alumni was UVA (www.uva.nl) or just use google to search for schools in holland and contact them.

You cannot apply for a residency visa from Nigeria unless you go Study route or spousal route. After studies you can have a job and then renew your residency. I once had a residence permit but abandoned it and came back to Nigeria. That was in 2008 though.

What kind of visa are you looking at? Study or Visit?

Why dont you start to advertise it for sale early, since you have a long time in Nigeria and you don't have to do a forced sale.

Did you just think of carrying your car from Nigeria to Canada? It depends on what you mean by good value? Your expectations might not match buyers expectation because " you know naija now" .

I know most people will sell their cars and buy a new one when they relocate. But I can’t get good value for this car because you know Naija now - if it’s not a “Jeep” it’s not a car.

If I am to buy this car in Canada it should be costing like 15k. I am seriously thinking of carrying this vehicle along. Is there any way this can make sense? Has anyone imported a vehicle into Canada and what are the costs? (Clearing, registering etc.

If the UK government wanted these Doctors to be exempted from visa requirements, it would be easy for the UK immigration service to make this request to the Nigerian Government and I’m sure it would have been honored.
