I totally agree wit u on d useless omeruo n whoever dat right back is. Echiejile has always been crap. Beats me hw he still starts for Nigeria.

Wit d quality of DIL's these days contaminated by a warped sense of gender equality, why won't MIL's b in constant battle wit them? E.g MOST 9ja babes these days think it is 'modern' or 'acceptable' not to know how to cook. Or to rule out d possibility of preparing a particular dish even if its ur husband's favourite and expect it to be ok by everyone.

Bello (though a total disaster going by present evidence) is being harrassed at every corner for d same offence. We can see a precedence being layed here. Igalas simply don't wanna live with d fact dat an Ebira man is now in govt house in Kogi. D Ebira man is giving everyone all d reasons for him to be hanged. Crazily pathetic state of mediocres.

Thanks everyone for your advice, I appreciate your help.

I have considered breaking up but the man has other attributes that I think I want in my future husband like he is very forgiving and easygoing and he is God fearing. But the spit thing irritates me so much. I have told him before that I don't like it so why is he still bringing it up?

I have a feeling he will want to force me to accept it after marriage because I noticed that even after I complained that I don't like spitting he was cunningly still trying to put spit in my mouth when we were kissing.

The whole thing is disgusting. I avoid french kissing him these days because when that strange desire overcomes him he will start trying to sneak some spit into my mouth because he is hoping to gradually make me like it.
from d way u are narrating this issue, it seems it's probably his biggest flaw as a man and to be honest with u, sexual flaws shouldn't be taken lightly because it can easily metamophorse and destroy a relationship. On the other hand, though sounds really disgusting (I actually cringed when I started reading ur post at first), you need to lovingly start avoiding the whole act of french kissing him. Truth is it's obviously something he seriously fantasizes about and enjoys during intimacy so if he stops it because u have complained, it means he absolutely cherishes u HENCE u will need to discover his other sexual fantacies (that u r comfortable with) and EXPLORE that one to make him totally forget this one. Truth is, if u r a one dimensional and predictably rigid person, it's only a matter of time b4 his sexual attraction towards u begins to rapidly diminish and ultimately, ur relationship. In simple terms, this situation is ABSOLUTELY WORKABLE.

I can relate perfectly to what you are experiencing op. To be frank, adolescents of this generation are absolutely mannerless and senseless. I live in a compound wit a neighbour n share kitchen with him and we seamlesly relate in terms of taking care of food and dishes. He met a jambite lady last yr n dis girl has a younger brother that has become an attachment to this my neighbour, enters d kitchen at will, eats my food sometimes with my plates, cooks with my pots sometimes on my gas and still leaves ALL utensils 4 me to wash. Imagine d younger bro of a jambite (I was a jambite way back 2005) displaying such quantum irresponsibility? Well I recently expressly warned him (since I am totally convinced I can coerce him with beating) NEVER to step into dat kitchen again and d matter is settled (though he doesnt greet again which I really prefer). My dear op, if u were born in d 80's I want u to understand dat d quality (mental responsibility) of children (mostly d late 90's stalk) is very low and most times if u don't show them total rejection and even threat of coercion, they won't budge. I am a MAN and all d pple shouting here don't understand how annoying (especially in an average African setting) it is to feed and do d dishes of an able bodied much younger sibling/person living with u. Bounce d d**khead out of your house and damn d hypocrites that won't take half of what he is dishing out to u.

truth of the matter is that it is not wrong of her to desire what she does not have. in fact it is the sane thing to do. now whether she gets it is another story. seriously speaking i dont see the hassles in women desiring rich guys. its a natural tendency of all humans. men desire riches too which is why when you put them in politics they steal all the countries money. this is why people move drugs to indonesia. this is why niggaz are all over the western world scamming oyinbos. WE ARE ALL HUSTLERS and we all desire to be comfortable. her own way of hustling is looking for rich guys. me personally i aint mad at a woman who hustling for rich men. question is whether she will get it or not lol cuz not all hustlers succeed. thats just the story of life. everybody is hustling. like that nigga rick ross said EVERYDAY AM HUSTLING. dont knock a womans hustle lolzz
My brother I am not really saying they shouldn't desire rich dudes. My annoyance is there is a serious possibility that most girls that shout 'broke guys' are as mentally broke as they come. I have seen ALL colours of women in my lifetime and I know their desires are quite similar. My problem is that everyday, Nigerian women seem stranger to me. I actually love being single now because I got no time to waste! Like I said and I know: when u meet a worthwhile woman, ur intuition will do d rest.

Serious poverty (of both mind and body) is d biggest problem of most Nigerian ladies. U go outside d country and see really sophisticated independent women not caring how much u earn and just flow with you in a rship based on ur basic qualities (humour, simple care, ambition and adventure). U come back here and meet a girl who lives in a face me I face u flat, cooks with firewood and has never in her twenty something years on earth seen her father buy a car want all those things from u. Truth is as a guy, d day u meet a WORTHWHILE woman, u won't needa soothsayer to tell u!

Is there really anything like "superior race?". As in a situation where every human being from a particular nation/ethnicity is NATURALLY BETTER at everything to every other person around them? If you are an enlightened social scientist with a miniature grasp of the concept of 'nature' and 'nurture' in psychology, u will know that it just doesn't make sense to grandstand just for d mere fact u r from a particular ethnic stock/nationality. All I c in many cases is a people practically forcing EVERYBODY around them (with action and words) to accept their superiority (whatever that means) over you. Fine the igbo's have rpoduced some of the best minds to ever come out of Nigeria and indeed Africa but so have other very minority unsung tribes in Nigeria and other parts of Africa. Our biggest problem as blacks has always been our natural propensity to trumpet ourselves beyond necessary. I for one would never accept that anybody is NATURALLY better than me in EVERYTHING. Anyone climbing that high horse over others is simply unenlightened.

Christianity EtcRe: Jesus-like Image Appears In Markudi Church (pic) by Menzy86(m): 8:21pm On Aug 09, 2016
I always like to read how other denominations love to jump on anything catholic and brand it 'demonic', 'antichrist' and all what not. The truth of the matter is that inspite of all the assaults over the years plus blackmails and thrash talks, the catholic church is still d oldest and largest denomination in christiandom. And the Bible tells us about Jesus Christ describing Peter as being the 'rock' on which He shall build His church and "THE FORCES OF HELL SHALL NOT PREVAIL OVER IT". The Catholic church doesn't stalk members, everyone that comes does so strictly on personal conviction without any pressure or attempt to brainwash and when u leave the church doesn't even notice. Furthermore, tales like this are often rigorously investigated and verified for several years in ALL cases by d church authorities b4 any endorsement is made or credence given.
To those screaming 'idolatory', I often wonder how it is convenient to have pictures of overseers of churches on banners, posters and revival grounds while having d crucifix of Jesus Christ is Idolatory. Or how gr8 it is to have miracle handkerchiefs, pens and other items while holding or having a Cross is 'satanic'. The truth of the matter is that in d end, the church you attend doesn't guarantee salvation BUT can shape your path to salvation if its precepts are actually in semblance with the UNADULTRATED teachings of Jesus Christ.
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit..........

The Tiv people of Benue and The Birom people of Plateau were also brave people but have been subdued with time by the Fulani military might. There seems to be a strategy to subdue all the minorities in the north central to get easy access to the very fertile land.

Damn. Sorry about your dad.

This just brought back some unpleasant memories.

That cutlass thing is so rampant up north, no doubt. I recall back then in Samaru, Zaria, they tried to sever some guy's head in this same manner, luckily, he took the hit to the arm like your dad did and ran for his life afterwards.

A friend of mine was walking down an alley, a very long one at that one night when he got caught midway. They asked him to bring out his phones and all he had in his pocket. After he did, they asked him to kneel down. Soon as he did, they raised a cutlass, but before they could strike, he quickly rose and ran back. They threw the cutlass at him but as God would have it, he had his laptop bag on. The laptop got damaged, but at least, it saved him.

I lived in a serene neighborhood at the time, but usually pass that road every damn night. Sometimes even as late as 3 am. I knew God had me when I didn't encounter them even once till I left. But mehn, with guys this mean, we lived day by day. Lots of innocent people got clipped.

They are that cruel.

Rest in peace to the man.
I graduated from ABU Zaria in 2008 (kongo campus) and trust me man I hav vivid pictures of what u r trying to say in my head too. U can imagine the kinda elements that sorround that Kongo campus (tudun wada and Gyallesu) plus the horrible looking El Zakzaky Army reigning supreme along side them. Michael Aondoakaa - one time minister for justice. Abubakar Sani Bello - governor of Niger state. Abubakar Sadiq A. Mohammed - former minister of Tourism, Culture and National Orientation. Is a school all about producing politicians before it can be ahead? Talk about all the professors we've produced, most of em are vice-chancellors now, all the graduates, seasoned medical and dental practioners. As my anatomy lecturer will say... Do I really feel sorry for these kinda people? I dont. We live in a society where people behave like goats and live ONLY for the present with d assumption of being "sharp" without any recourse to future implications of actions and inactions. If you have duly paid 4 ur land and obtained all necessary cover documents, there is no govt on earth that will be able to demolish ur property without compensation. Where I live permanently in Minna gave me an insight into how unruly Nigerians can be without close monitoring and policing. People removed their beacons and started their parameter fence OUTSIDE d demarkation of their approved land thereby squeezing d space meant 4 roads n drainages to access d area when devt started speeding up. In Ilorin (where I presently live) ALL d settlement I have seen (apart from probably GRA) are totally messed up because of people's stupidity in d name of being sharp. 10 yrs frm now with d way things are, all d tanke and Gaa akanbi axis will be inaccessible by car and Im sure this is how we behave all over d country.
