Haba broda u r supposed to be asking me which roads are NOT narrow. Apart from GRA,Taiwo, Fate n maybe airport roads, all other roads I have plighed in my time here are NARROW by basic standards. I actually live around F division road and d light here is NOTHING to write home about.

Ilorin? Comparing Ilorin wit Jos is an abomination. I have been living in Ilorin 4 d past two years and its a HORRIBLE city in every ramification. Narrow roads (that is if there is), no light, no water, totally backward!

I was a phone freak until last year march when d smart phone I bought n had barely used fell n d screen got smashed. Taking it for repairs, I was told it wld cost 15k. That was d END! It even helped me discover hw much man hrs I was losing to the freaking phone n my life became peaceful since then. Now I am tied to one nokia torch and anoda Nokia 302. PEACE!

Hmmmm madam I have been reading your comments and wondering why you are thinking every woman should be like you. A woman cannot start acting abnormal without a trigger? Nigerians really need to learn more about their own country. Not everyone from the north is Hausa or Fulani or even a Muslim. Even Borno state has a large chunck of indegenous Christians. The north has three different regions. Stop lumping them all together.

My dear d level of ignorance of some people is mind boggling in this country or is it even INTENTIONAL STUPIDITY? I am from kogi state and some folks I met from d south insist on calling me 'onyi hausa' even when my village is closer to d nearest major southern state by close to 2hrs more than d nearest hausa settlement. When I tell some of them that there are INDIGIENOUS CHRISTIANS even in Katsina and a huge part of Kano they don't believe. When I tell some of them that at least 30% of the 'lumped up' Northern Nigeria is Christian (if not more), they think I'm crazy. But what can we do when d basket is badly damaged already?

Those people saying this is childish don't know how funny playing pranks on yourselves as genuine lovers is mostly in d long run. Initially there will be feeling of resentment and apprehension but that's all there will be to in d end if there is understanding and acceptance of motives. I think if u guys were really in a loving and flowing relationship, she will come around with a little time and u guys will laugh hard for a long time to come and understand your limits afterwards. If she decides to break up wit u because of this, then sorry man she ain't worth the stress in d end.

I changed my location JUST to be with her. Planned my life in her direction for two whole years and after consistently disrespecting me and giving me cold shoulder for like 6months straight, she broke d gist..... "I met someone sometime ago and immediately my feelings went neutral for u". That was three months ago and I haven't dialled her number since that day. Still likes all my posts on FB, chats me up on whatsapp but is so proud I am sure she will never say what is itching her. For me, my life became more peaceful since she left!

Even before the (s)election, we in Edo all know Oshiomole's errand boy was gonna be declared winner. And now, we're at a quandary. Do we vote for this puppet who'll automatically continue Oshiomole's overwhelming underachievement that's masked by hypocrisy and propaganda or do we vote for Osagie Ize Iyamu another thief and political prostitute whose only goal is to dip his hand into Edo's state treasury? Now this is the dilemma we're in and it's a dilemma that has plagued the Nigerian political scene for ages(lack of credible candidates) as elections are monetised and those credible candidates may not have d financial clout to battle these charlatans. And for this reason, I have no regrets voting for Muhammadu Buhari who ain't the best but was d least of d 2 devils. As for this upcoming Edo elections, I'll either vote for APGA or some other party than give my vote to either Godwin Obaseki or Osagie Ize Iyamu

I feel ur pain my brother n 4 a while now I hav been thinking why we r always subjected to choosing between evil people at every election. Is it that d masses donot know how to mobilize and sponsor a candidate under a less known party to emerge and contest against these demons that occupy our political space? I have been thinking that if 100,000 people contribute just #1000, it will amount to 10 million which is alot of money if judiciously deployed. A revolution doesn't hav to involve blood shed and fighting. It only takes courage, strategy and commitment to overturn this very unfavourable situation of having to choose between devils at each election. Youths need to deplore their energy (without aggression) towards somthn dat guarantees a good future 4 our children. These lamentations are not helping anymore. The whole thn really pains me seriously!

Africans will never fully grasp the basics or core of a concept before rushing to ridicule its entire essence. Unknown to many, the feminist movement was started by a MAN (need to look up his full name again) with advocacy for the BASIC RIGHTS of women to be respected as much as possible back then.

Here in Nigeria, I have seen SEVERAL successful women that fully understand what GENDER ROLES are and have perfectly internalized its essence and are living in very happy and successful marriages. These days we just have a band of little girls who know little or nothing about respect and mutuality contesting for primary relevance in peculiar roles only when it favours them. That is why more marriages are going sour these days and more thriftless children are been born.

The real women are strategists. They know men live for their ego and water it while furthering their courses unnoticed. Our parents lived like this and had successful marriages and bred intelligent (all round) children. No responsible and well bred man will want a confrontational and obviously competitive woman for a wife. Never works and thats what ALL WOMEN must understand and work on how to balance. I for certain would NEVER settle for dunce of a wife. That will translate to having dunces for children in many cases!

I have managed four relationships in d span of ten years and NEVER used d words "it is over". And d truth is dat I CONSCIOUSLY treat d next girl BETTER than d previous because I've ALWAYS known what I want. Always funny how in all d four relationships they started bahaving d same way op's babe was behaving until I took cue and even did d behaviour better. D relationships usually ended on these terms only to start receiving constant rekindling calls 9months-1 yr after d whole thing went dead for me.

Simple lesson I learnt a long time ago: women know good stuff but like to toy with it when its available with the hope of getting better stuff. NEVER hang around for them after d 'better' stuff turns sour and they've realized d 'good' was actually d 'best'. Love loyally and WITHDRAW timely. Works ALWAYS!

This is the problem with d muslims that don't kill Christians. They simply stay aloof and enjoy the spectacle feigning to be disturbed while they really aren't. "if every muslim killed, every Christian will be dead" is a most insensitive statement to make which buttresses my point that those Muslims who don't actively participate in d act dont really care. What u said is actually true but I want u to take a second and think of it this way. If the women of these days didn't make themselves easily 'conquerable' will d men have d guts to be so foward about their sexual desires with women? And who says every guy dat invites u to their homes want to take advantage of u? I heard tales from my parents that even during their time women visited their boyfriends and sometimes even slept over and NOTHING happened. The problem as I said and still maintain (even though what u said makes sense) is dat ladies became loose over time and guys started believing what is happening now. Trust me babe, men have ALWAYS loved sex even during our parents time. D difference is dat women made it more difficult to access then than now.

Ive noticed a trend recently. U meet a pretty lady, try to make a very good impression on her but on her part she is busy giving you all this negative vibes and still expects u to keep pushing or 'being on d queue' of guys asking her out. I mean who in God's name has time to be queuing up? Truth is responsible guys enjoy wooing a lady but really despise being humiliated in d process of trying to show affection. N.B sorry to say this but very few girls out there show any real astuteness these days. D quality keeps dropping per second. Check our mothers n compare with what we have now. Its alarming!

I cant believe a muslim is talking about people minding their business. In d north (I schooled in Zaria) girls in jeans got stoned and harrassed. People got assaulted for eating during ramadan. In a class public forum just yesterday, I was warned by a supposed muslim about my comments about a post on female hygiene because "he is observing ramadan" and u hav d temerity to talk about business minding? Mind u all of us on dat class forum have MASTERS degrees. I'm sure u read d man that was almost butchered to death in kaduna recently by Muslims because he ate during ramadan in public? When it comes to minding 'business' in dis world, everybody knows muslims NEVER MIND THEIR BUSINESSES and thats why there is so much chaos wherever they are found. The only luck the world has is that Jesus christ abolished the an eye for an eye injunction of Moses. Definitely the whole world wld have been blind by now!

Trust ne man d pay is fair. I have thought b4 and got paid 22k 4 a start with like 18 periods per week n closing time 3:30pm. If this is govt teaching, b sure u wld hardly hav more than 8-10 periods per week n u wld close latest by 2pm. To add, there is opportunity for skills acquisition too. Can't wait to jump into this. I see small hope.

I have met many yoruba gals in my life especially in d last two years(because Ive been in yoruba land n I can confidently say dis about them: they can be respectful, LOYAL and kind hearted in MANY cases. On d down side sexually poor, bad cooks and propensity to be dirty. Note these aren't general conclusions.

At one point while reading this thread I almost thought d writer must have stalked me during my last rship. Beautiful and well mannered girl. Dirty past which she eventually succumbed to right under my nose. Old habits die hard. Learnt dat d hard way.

U have a good point but ma dear when u r ready to settle down n u decide to only take dating seriously, u may find out many variables u have to juggle with which can be overwhelming. Truth of d matter is u can hardly make a mistake in your choice if u already know somthn about handling a serious rship. Summary: get attracted and get involved while upholding your values as an individual. Only helps u in d end.

I am a Christian but people like you are the scribes and pharisees that Jesus often referred to in the bible. Being baptized and 'believing' alone cant take you to heaven.
