When I read justifications like this, it dawns on me that the backwardness of the African continent is far from been remedied. So BH is a northern elite formation while these ones are legitimate freedom fighters that suddenly realized they were being marginalized when a Northern president took the reign of power in d land? As that poster u responded to said, the Northerners (whether they formed it or not) tactically urged BH on from d beginning because their major targets initially were churches in most cases. We that have lived a long time in d north know dat even though many northerners aren't extremists, they really don't feel pain when calamity befalls Christians, they only pretend.

As 4 d Niger delta we all know that they think they are hurting the country. A people that have been given amnesty, 13% derivation, NDDC and ministry of Niger Delta ALL from d centre hav no business wit militancy if u ask me. I saw federal allocation of all states in Nigeria n discovered bayelsa (a very small state wit less dan 3 million people and only 8 LGA's) receiving bigger allocation than Kaduna. In due course d flame they are lighting just like in d north east will begin to roast everybody.

I recently had a run in with this same lady a few weeks ago n I kept begging her to tell me where she was from but she refused. Trust me man, she ain't proud of her country cos she knows everything u have been saying is true. Why u dey waste your energy sef? People wey slave mentality don finish.

I cant really say if its my looks that usually give me away but uniform people generally kinda feel apprehensive when they see me. I've been stopped and searched on dat same route(somwhr after eruku) by dat same SARS B4. As people have been saying, panic is their biggest weapon against u. I don't even panic b4 armed forces people talkless of police. At 20 sha u r still quite young so I kinda understand why it happened d way it did. Dont b scared of police. Though u need to be careful as many hav been accidentally discharged to their early graves.

Thank God I am graduate of a Nigerian university and I'm yet to see one where a student is withdrawn immediately after d first year no matter how many courses he/she may have failed. There is always a probation time (usually after another year) b4 dat decisive action is taken. U r a typical African. When I made my statement it was open ended. Why quote me and call me stupid in d process? Instant gratification is d bane of our progress and devt. If u knw anythn about hw countries develop, u will knw dat d way we hav been going, there is no way in a lifetime we are ever gonna reach a far reaching devt goal. Broaden your knowledge about issues and don't only listen to people's analysis but do yours based on all round information. Learn NOT to insult people b4 making a point. I really feel sorry for the kind of youths we parade in frica and especially Nigeria these days. Hate, tactlessness and undiluted stupidity in full view. No amount of pipeline bombing and instigated secession agitation can reduce that time. Has anyone noticed that though d president doesn't say it he doesn't care about these perceived saboteurs? I like him 4 one thing, d man is known for something and that is his abhorrence for corruption. Whatever smear campaign u want to undertake against him cant take that away. When he is done with his 'witchunting' after 4 years (or possibly 8 years), we wil b glad to hav an opposition govt come in and hunt him too (only if he is a witch). Nigeria only stands to gain in a broader sense from such a system.

Having said that has it occured to anyone of u that this isn't only obtainable in d north? Infact getting admission in d south is almost an impossibility for core northerners and even middle belters. As you lay your bed, so u lie on it. Just that unfortunately, people who don't deserve such victimization fall in d end.

If I ever have to live in Lagos in my life I might end up spending all my earnings on accommodation because mehn can't imagine having to live in these kinda areas OP mentioned.

People are mistaking INFRASTRUCTURE to mean storey buildings. There is no way Enugu can be more infrastructurally developed than kaduna and Kano. Infrastructure include roads, rails and INSTITUTIONS. Kaduna is d state with d highest number of very recognized institutions in Nigeria. Home to d largest university in sub saharan Africa! I think Kaduna should com b4 Enugu 4 sure and maybe kano too.

"war can NEVER be just" is a popular saying in peace studies. The hausa's don't only understand war contrary to ur belief. Lemme tell u about political solution. Most Nigerians underestimate alliances to solve political problems. D hausa's only know this tactic better than every other Nigerian hence their political dominance. Jonathan had d opportunity 4 5 yrs to save all of us from this sh*t n what did he do? He blew it. Do u guys know thr is a substantial christian population in d north capable of swinging elections anywhere they support if tapped? In 2011 Jonathan won 5/6 North-central states and won d election. In 2015 he lost 5/6 of d same region n lost d election. Does that show anythn. I am from dis region but most times even though we feel kinda alienated frm d hausa/fulani northerners and wish alliance with u guys u always wanna treat us with disdain. That is d problem of d Igbo's and that is why they will always wail. Noone is enjoying what is happening. All I am sayin is dat people like me n u r d ones that will suffer most from d gas explosions. Buhari might end up not achieving his promises but it doesn't mean he won't eat nor have all d comfort he desires. His ministers and ALL govt officials at every level will NOT uffer. Also, the adverse effects of your economic sabotage will be felt equally with other parts of d country. Unfortunately also, SS pple seem to have completely exonerated their infinitey corrupt elites from their predicaments because they love to focus on Hausas more. Check all d African countries that have gone to war because of resources (Congo, Liberia sierra'leone) and tell me their common feature.
