If a black woman marries, dates, or even have sex with a white man, society will say she has struck gold If a black man does the same, society will call it inferiority complex. |
Music sometimes can change the dynamics of a society and I believe our hiphop songs have a BIG role to play in this. Most of the songs Davido, Wizkid and many of our mainstream artistes sing is about worshipping a girl and spending huge amount of money on her, just for kitten . Over the years these lyrics have invaded the subconscious, making men to believe they have to be a fool for a girl in order for her to like him, and women to believe that men should spend on them. The Nigerian sexual market place has grown porous, there is an higher demand from the consumers (men) and the suppliers(women) have increased their prices. My brothers, every Nigerian girl wants a sugar daddy for Christmas. When she calls you "baby", just know you're not the only one. |
Women themselves grow boring after getting married. They slowly become less attractive, more crankier, they become too earthly, less exciting, their SMV drops drastically low and they nag more. The older they get, the less appealing they become. Married men are trying. |
I'm not a parent but I'll say that there is no such thing like training your child in the "British or American or Asian way". There is good parenting and bad parenting. It's all about raising your child with good and ethical values, giving him/her good formal and informal education, being close to them emotionally, maximizing their strengths and helping them to minimize their weaknesses. But unfortunately parents always tend to display some of the biggest forms of hypocrisy I have ever seen. African parenting isn't even the most ideal. Families are the core of societies, everyone comes from one family or the other, and family system and culture are one the oldest determinants of how the society is run. We tend to uphold "African parenting" on our head like gala and lacasera , but go out to the Nigerian society you will see a lot of bad values and ethics with people, especially amongst the poor and middle class. Again, i found out that the reason why people here are always afraid to voice out their opinions, fight for their rights, and stand against a bad system has something to do with our parenting system. Parents and schools tend to be autocratic, where order is only gotten through rigid force and beatings, thus we are mostly taught "fear" and never "respect". Over the years the government, the military, the police and different people in power have always utilized that " subconscious fear" in Nigerians to get away with oppressing people and stay in power. Many of we millenials and gen-Z have embraced counterculture because we've seen that upon all the "african way", it doesn't reflect in the society, there is still so much corruption and poverty. As society is advancing, cultures are spreading globally and the media is becoming more influential, the coming generation will be more intelligent, more independent, and more complicated than the last.We have to advance our cultures and change our strategies of raising children, because if they cannot come to trust you, the media will be their parent. |
This is why today's men need the redpill and go MGTOW. |
Oh boy, it is better to hustle in your country and have dignity and self respect. I learnt that most of these European nations ( UK and France being an exception) and Asian countries are very racist to blacks especially when you come from Africa. Their societies are homogenous and thus they see us as beggars, thieves, fetishes, they see us as people who have come to take their jobs, flood their healthcare system and sleep with their women. If you hear what most of these Europeans say about black people you will want to nuke them. For me I will only to such places for business, tourism or education, these guys hate black immigrants. If Russia wants immigrants they should tell us themselves |
I can't say for the whole Africa, but for Nigeria our parenting system is "toxic". Unless you retrain yourself mainstream parenting system in Nigeria creates two types of people: Jagudas and simps. In the Asian and Western world older generations see youngsters as potentials, as seeds to fertilized to bring forth fruits and carry on a legacy. In many Nigerian homes young ones are seen as nothing but tools. Many of us don't teach our young ones good values but when they commit a flaw we are quick to rain beating upon them. If you think training a child in the "Africa way" is ideal, shebi the family is the core of every society ? Look around you, the characters of many millenials and gen Z in today's Nigeria, you will realize that there have been a lot of flaws in raising children over the past years. Again these guys outside have a strong family system where family values are shared, both nuclear and extended. It's sad to say that in Nigeria our traditional family system is breaking apart, there is so much envy, segregation, fear and distrust among family members ( fear of village people is a subtle sign of that). In many African homes there are no family values, you just need someone to fear in order to behave. |
If you ask me, this NYSC stuff is growing useless year by year and has outlived it's purpose. It's more like a forced patriotism where graduates are indentured servants. Can't youths serve the country in their own way without being forced to work under a failed system? How does being a primary school teacher in a backwater community school, a place where no qualified teacher would dream of working in, help in the "development" of the nation? |
Some Valentine tomorrow eh ...

I don't know, but let us learn to think for ourselves, something being legal doesn't mean it's good. Cocaine was once legal, slavery was once legal, even the Holocaust was legal. Many people and organizations supporting LGBTQ in public or in the media or social media are just doing it for promotion or just moving with the herd, generations ago when homosexuality was a taboo these same people would have condemned gays. Look, if samesex marriage can be legal then other deviant sexual behaviors pedophilia, incest, bestaility can also be legalized, it's all a matter of time, use the media, use pop culture, use popular figures, use entertainment, use logic, make people who think these acts are messed up look bad, and change the narrative. One day pedophiles may come out boldly and demand for their own rights. I hope it doesn't come to that. I do not condemn homosexuals, in my faith, Jesus ate with sinners and gentiles, all kinds of people came to him. In my Christian faith, homosexuality is a classified as a sin, sexual immortality, so is adultery, rape, incest, lust of the eyes, pornography etc. If you do any of those listed above then you have no right to judge gays. But African countries copying the west in some of their odd ideologies is like a poor kid following a rich kid to commit a crime. When both of them are caught, the rich kid's money would stand for him, while the poor kid will languish in jail. Most of the countries where LGBTQ is flourishing are 1st world countries. They have good education, food, better health care, 24/7 electricity, strong ICT, strong respect for civil rights. They acquired all these first before LGBTQ could come to actualization. 89% of African countries don't even have 20% of these. |
Ironically, the men advising other men not to marry or keep a healthy relationship with the opposite sex will be the ones end up enjoying happy marriages, with a loving wife and kids. Let's not be simps, but at the same time let's be human. |
The irony is that the money used for feeding the dog weekly is 5x higher than what some civil servants are paid monthly. |
OK, that was disturbing. |
If you want to advocate peace for youths, create impartial business and educational opportunities for them. Teach them critical thinking and financial freedom. At the end it's always poverty, hunger and illiteracy that causes youths to carry arms. |

smallsmall:I'm not saying that we should just pray alone. Action is king. Some kind of situation pass just mere protest. There must be a change in mindset. The visible changes of the nation depends on the invisible changes in the minds of the people. Most of our bad leaders were created by us, by the negative values of our society. Many common Nigerians are as greedy as our leaders, they just haven't gotten the opportunity to unleash, that's why. Many people complain about corruption just because it hasn't favoured them. Many pains Nigerians face everyday are inflicted upon them by fellow civilian Nigerians like themselves. Do a little study on the Nigerian society, and observe carefully how we live, deconstruct some things and you may be surprised how do ourselves. I'm not justifying the government and the politicians but if we continue with our greedy, " cut corner " and oppressive mindsets we will continue to have greedy and corrupt leaders even after a revolution. If we continue to overlook and accept corruption, exploitations and oppression in our homes, our schools, our churches, our social groups, our streets, our communities we will never beat corruption in the government. We the people are the government. We have to take responsibility and support each other |
Gerrard59:But it's better than to complain and curse like most folks do on nairaland. Your believe system controls a lot of things, I'm not talking religion here. 80 percent of the time, Nigerians curse and spread negativity. They say all day "this country is cursed" "Africa is the devil's playground", " the soul of the black man is full of evil " . Why is it an acceptable mindset for people to believe that dark powers and voodoo is behind a problem, but stupidity to take positive spiritual actions? I'm not saying that we should carry anointing oil and start cabashing then fold our hands and do nothing. If we believe in a devil then we should also believe in a stronger Elohim too. Little things like faith, blessings, and positive energy go a long way to change things. |
Many will people think their father has the smallest farm in the village until they visit other people's farm. Nigeria may be in a deep situation right now but even at that we're better than other nations especially in here Africa. I'm not a buhari supporter but our democracy and freedom better pass some other country. There is money in Nigeria, but we don't know how to manage the resources to make wealth. All the billions that politicians are looting does not come from thin air, it's from the country, let us get it back!. The are planning to leave this country and so are the commoners, if everyone leaves who will develop Nigeria? The Chinese? National development is down-upward movement. If all we citizens do is to sulk and curse the nation and the black race, Nigeria will remain the same or worse in 30years. How many people pray for the nation and it's leaders or at least say "God bless Nigeria?" If the little factors of our society are messed up then the big things like education, healthcare, economy, security, roads, housing etc will be messed up. We say "corrupt politicians, corrupt politicians" but I tell you, some ordinary Nigerian are worse, they just haven't gotten the chance. How many of us have stood up and voiced against the series of injustice and misconduct like child abuse happening in our local communities? How many people are interested in local community development? Every great nation was built by it's people not the government. Let us fight for what is ours and invest in our nation positively or else those sneaky Chinese imperialists would get richer and powerful by feeding on our resources, but by then it won't be problem of the buhari and the politicians we're insulting. Nigeria would be great if we desire it to be. Not just by mere words. God bless Nigeria. |
Not that we're not fair to the Ibo's but other tribes are skeptical about them when it comes to trust. The Ibo's are enterprising and are good industrialists, they're innovative and business savvy too but one of their biggest flaw is that they can be very crafty sometimes, especially the ones that grew up in the core ibo environments characterized by business and trade. Get too familiar with some of them and they'll swindle you and even sell you. Even this their Biafra/IPOB stuff is a scam, they just have a common enemy. Let a biafran be enriched and he might even denounce Biafra. They're only loyal to money and power Just talking from experience. |
I hope this won't end up as a disappointment like last time |
Asifiwe:Complain, complain, complain. That is what we always do. Many nigerians complain because they are victims of the system, not because they care about the country. What happens when they suddenly have millions in their bank account, and living lavishly in mansions, their children are schooling in London and having holidays at Monaco? You won't hear them complain again. Where do you think bad leaders come from? They come from our society. In Nigeria people mistake craftiness for intelligence - oversense . Look around you in Nigerian society, it's all chaos, we love to break simple rules to achieve selfish goals. We have a way of life that promotes corruption, sometimes we call it "hustling" - corrupt politicians are hustling too. Revolution comes from a change of mindset, not by fighting - another criminal will emerge from the woodworks later on, and the viscous cycle of corruption continues. How many Nigerians are ready to change their bad habits for the betterment of the nation? Nation building is a down-up movement, if the everyday things of the common society are messed up, the government will be messed up too because they will repeat what we do in a large scale. |
This one is STRONG. Isn't there anyone who can spare a red pill for this brother. I left mine in the house. |

I don't know what to say, I'm just a fence sitter. But this is Nigeria, anything can happen. Almost nothing is impossible In this part of the world. If certain commotions start springing up out of the blues suddenly we should learn to question it. |
Disclaimer: Most of these nairaland redpillers are just pickup artists or frustrated AFCs, always about women and sex. Redpill manosphere is beyond getting laid by the opposite sex, it's also social, political, financial, mental, spiritual. It's about the personal improvement of a man's image of himself and those around him, questioning the regressive rules that govern us and deconstructing the gears of the society and searching for the truth within. Redpillers of the manosphere are like the Neos of the modern day matrix. You cannot grow by busy calling others small and weak if you cannot show them the way. Apart from the porn industry, what other bodies are so dedicated to meeting the needs of men like that of women? Very few. Instead of roasting other betas for their weaknesses, why don't we guys come together and formulate ways to make more money, have financial freedom, get hotter chicks and tackle other issues bothering the masculine society. We are the resistance. If you're looking for better redpill contents check sites like Illimitable Men or Rebellious Development and some sub reddits on the redpill. You will mostly find addicted pussey hunters and angry sex starved bros here. |

Salam, fellow redpillers. I am glad that our black brothers are now opening their eyes. Because of misunderstanding people criticise me, saying that I'm following a western concept. But ironically black guys are the ones who need the red pill more. In terms of race black men have the lowest SMV. If a poll is carried out on the most preferred race of men for women to date, black men would be the lowest. It's an uncomfortable truth - that's why it's called the red pill. Lesson of the story: The black male is alone. Unless he has money, good looks or power, even the black female will regard him as a final option. Guys, am I lying?! How many of you can vouch that your girlfriend won't leave you if a white guy shows interest in her ? |
What has changed? BTW, are you saying that prayers develop a country?
