How are Imo and Cross River backward?

And how do carnivals celebrate the non-existent satan?

The police found a missing boy, allegedly.

Instead of you to congratulate the police you want to cry about a gun in a picture.

If you want to question the rash of good news stories that seem to have come out regarding the RRS then I can understand that but to whine about a gun in this instance shows pettiness and a lack of perspective.

You said police, not social services.

Social workers aren't typically armed.

Maybe you should learn to speak in a clear concise manner instead of spouting the first useless thought that appears in your limited brain.

And it really isn't out of place for police men to be armed. How do you expect them to enforce the law if they cannot protect themselves against potentially armed criminals?

Armed police stay armed, whether they are near children or not.

Don't know who told you that they won't bring guns around children.

American police have no qualms shooting parents in front of said children at routine traffic stops.

They are many . Most are the scums of the Nigerian society . The Touts , drunks are very atheistic . Try preaching the gospel to them . I entered a bus the other day and the conductor was mocking a preacher .

Try preaching in a peer palour and see mockery . Some traders too are very atheistic . They tell you nothing like heaven or hell and its all lies .

No one wants preachers pestering them in public.

Even the religious people that I know complain about preachers on buses.

Nigerians want only 3 things i.e. 24 hours power supply, address corruption decisively, Security. If Buhari can focus all his efforts on these 3 areas, every other thing should fall into place. Most of the issues we have as a country are directly or indirectly linked to these core areas.
You talk about addressing the issues but are you willing to address the root causes of said issues?

What fuels insecurity in Nigeria?

Why is it so easy for people in power to abuse and neglect the general population?

Is there something that Nigerians have a tendency to do that makes them prime targets for maltreatment by their 'leaders'?

That does not excuse the Northern masses going on a killing spree.

Yes, it was the foolish Northerners who slaughtered Easterners who were just going about their business in the North.

Easterners secede from the union as a result.

That was how that yeye Discovery airline door opened the other day while taxing to the runway after boarding, all they could told us is they forgot to switch off the emergency button (this was swept under the carpet) what if it happens mid-air?
It doesn't 'just happen in Nigeria', airlines leave luggage behind all the time.

It's unfortunate but any system that involves human beings will have problems because human beings are fallible.

I'm sick and tired of these people

When you go to the U.K, you must hear them shouting and cursing loudly on the streets in Yoruba

You come to Queens and Brooklyn, you must see them fighting on the streets

Just last week, i was in at the mall and 2 women were also causing havoc there

They are louder than African Americans
I think this woman is from the mid-west.

I don't see this often and I don't think that she's any louder than the some of the natives of these nations who also act out irrationally - women have a tendency to behave like this irregardless of their cultural background. I know I've seen it with Chinese women countless times.

The only problem I feel Jonathan had was that he did not know the power he had as a Commander in chief and dint want to step on people's toes.

I mean no disrespect but I wonder why we are always been lead by Ex-Convicts...just look at the list of people who are in power undecided the only one who has a clear record was GEJ...

So really what do Nigerians want? We don't respect people with good Values...Am not saying he was a saint but I think he did his Best... Instead we celebrate Ex-cons. And they all go into power without Rehabilitation... from Obj to even the Man who killed the First Democratic elected president, for what sins again? I can't remember?

I believe if you have a problem with the law you are not a first-class citizen and respect the law, how can someone who dose not obey the law protect it?
GEJ was far better than his predecessors.

Yar'adua was the original 'Baba Go Slow' who lied to the public about his health and subsequently caused a constitutional crisis. Meanwhile his wife was collecting bribes from all comers.

OBJ's tenure was an extension of the destructive military era.

Abdusalami's tenure gave us the useless constitution that we now labor under.

Abacha. Even today money that himself and his family stole is being repatriated. Meanwhile some people insist that 'Abacha never stole'.

Shonekan was never given a chance.

Babangida. No comment.

Buhari. We all know what Buhari is and has been. This is the fool who decided that it was better to pay the penalty fee for not building the much needed Lagos metro than to complete the project and reap the benefits. The final project would have cost N100m, the penalty fee (for late cancellation) N70m. This is what happens when people waste their youth studying the Quran instead of mathematics...

How much did we make?

52% belonged to the Federal government

the remaining 48% went to State governors and LG Chairmen.

We've seen what GEJ did with his 52% ( whether the projects he embarked on are small or low quality is another matter entirely ).

I believe we should also ask what State Governors and LG Chairmen did with theirs
The big mistake that Jonathan made was in squandering money on trying to educate the northern masses.

He failed to appreciate northern culture - the impoverished majority are meant to be a slave underclass without means of providing for themselves.

You see that now with foolish northern governors claiming that Almajiri schools are too expensive to run only for them to turn around and spend equivalent sums on trips to the Arabian desert.
