Thomsbuky:Chinese workers are notorious for taking abuse from their bosses. Indian workers do not leave the office until after their boss has left - which can often mean staying in the office from 8am to 10pm. The workers are not compensated for the extra hours. I've noticed that this mentality of willful slavery has caused tension in the Gulf States between Arabs who have more self-respect and their Indian colleagues who are seen as bootlickers who will tolerate anything for money. Such practices should not be tolerated in any civil society or one where the social welfare of the individual is important. Abuse should be stamped out at all levels as soon as possible, otherwise it becomes a way of life. |
Sweetguy25:Why only 70%? |
logica:They need that book (one that advises against self-respect) to justify their willful submission to being enslaved. Some people are very comfortable being slaves, they prefer to accept and old lie than to discover the truth for themselves. |
eyeview:Slaves vs Freemen. |
axum:This looks more like a reason for the Kenyans to go into Somalia and crush them. Why do they think that they can kill Kenyan citizens with impunity? |
You have no business carrying her hand bag. She was trying to belittle you. OP was within his rights to say no. You lost your job but retain your dignity - anyone saying that the OP was wrong is a mental slave and slaves can never be trusted and will do anything to get ahead. A man with no values is no man at all. |
whocanbewho:Most guys I know are with women who are not deserving of their time and when asked I advise against marrying these women. |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ud5lgq_yueA Audio download - http://megabitload.com/download/index/98838939/ How many of you made it to the end? |
Sounds like a religious prison. We need to extricate religion from our educational system. |
This is most women. And this is why I tell most men not to do it. These women are not concerned for anyone else but themselves which is bad enough when it's just the two of you but when you factor in children it is a recipe for absolute chaos. I hope her fiance sees this. |
Bevista:How can a party claim to be 'anti-corrupt' with Tinubu and Atiku in the background? |
Western media, lol - this looks like a genuine error but that does not mean that they should be trusted. |
Discredited again. And yet their sheep will still proclaim these charlatans as being something other than what they are. |
mensdept:These people are not your friends. No doubt they will try and pressure him into signing the EPA and also push through a bill that provides a route for the recognition of homosexual marriage. Their interests are not your interests, sadly most Nigerians are too uncouth to see that. |
Don't go to Paris, make him visit you in your village. He needs you more than you need him. |
nyabinghi:Very few people will admit that the common acceptance of religious fairytales is what has allowed these religious criminals to thrive. |
bushdoc9919:People will forever disagree but religion provides a safe zone for irrational thought and actions, a place where it cannot be challenged. Rarely is religion anything but a barrier against open discussion and progress. |
It's about time that Africans had a serious conversation about the scourge of religion in African society. This can't be allowed to continue. |
Any guy who does not say 'constantly running her mouth' or 'verbal diarrhea' is (probably) lying. |
In case anyone needs to download the audio (mp4 format) - http://megabitload.com/download/index/87251172/ |
DesChyko:Why should we show 'reverence' to a public servant? We should respect him as a human being but even he has said that his job is to 'govern' (by which I took to mean administer) and not to rule. |
Some of the worst affected states included Adamawa, Plateau, Kaduna, Sokoto, Kano and Edo, while in Rivers State, jubilant youths were seen along Omerelu/Elele/Port Harcourt Road, displaying different kinds of guns and other dangerous weapons, shooting into the air and chanting heroic songs. Eye witnesses say many of the victims were either hit by a moving vehicles making stunt displays or lost their footing while watching the activities. According to eyewitness reports, 17 victims died in Kano, four died in Abuja, three in Kontagora, Niger State and one in Makurdi, the Benue State capital, while several others sustained injuries. Eyewitness, Ali Sufi of Naibawa Quarters said three people were crushed to death at Naibawa U-turn, when a man in a Toyota Camry car lost control and rammed into those celebrating. Mr Sufi added that one Sabo Ali, an ad-hoc staff of communications giant, Etisalat, lost his life alongside his friend when a reckless driver knocked them down at Ungwa Uku end of Zaria Road within Kano metropolis. Another resident of Naibawa quarters, Ibrahim Dogo, said that two teenagers were crushed to death along Zaria Road by a crazy driver. Kano State Police Command spokesman Magaji Majia, said: “We discovered seven dead bodies of unknown persons on the streets after the celebration and investigations has commenced on how and why it happened.” He added that the development had forced the command to sponsor radio jingles to sensitize the city dwellers on how to go about the victory dance. General Buhari has urged his supporters across the country to remain calm and celebrate responsibly, adding that this is not a time for wild ecstasy. In General Buhari’s home town of Daura in Katsina State, motorbike riders and car drivers pulled stunts, sending plumes of dust into the air, enveloping the local ruler’s palace overlooking the square. Veiled women ululated, young men and the old cheered in approval, drums were sounded and brooms were dangled from strings tied to poles and spigots of cement-plastered mud homes. Lawan Shuaibu, a 29-year-old bus driver, said: “Our joy is indescribable as a result of this historic victory of Muhammadu Buhari, which is why we are on the streets for the second day of celebration.” In contrast, the mood was sombre in President Jonathan's hometown of Otuoke in Bayelsa State as people were pensive as they reflected on his defeat. Businesses reported sluggish trade as groups of people in twos or threes discussed the gripping election, which General Buhari won by 2.75m votes, becoming the first challenger to beat a sitting president win in Nigeria’s history. http://exclusivedash..co.uk/2015/04/over-100-people-die-in-buhari-victory.html |
These guys are worse than bitches. I hope father are picking up on these 'role-models' and informing their sons why these guys should not be emulated. |
Simple question - is it any easier to make a Christian to think rationally than a Muslim? Does one religion have better inbuilt mechanisms against the abandonment of myth and superstition? Is it easier to convert people from Islam to Christianity or is the reverse easier? Thanks. |
GboyegaD:I doubt that they would but is Mr "An attack on Boko Haram is an attack on the North" any better? This guy might be crazy but he is right about this. I was under the impression that the APC had insulted the intelligence of Nigerians by putting Buhari forward as their candidate - sadly, it seems that they accurately gauged the wider Nigerian inability to remember. An ethnocentric demagogue with no policies and no history of administration has been elected president of what should be a great nation. This is going to be interesting. |
When was Nigeria a 'collapsed' state? Some people are incredibly stupid. |
You didn't make beef suya? You missed a trick. |
Keneking:What does this have to do with any government? Can you explain how 'government' caused this. Have you ever heard the term 'personal responsibility'? |
Just what they wanted, no doubt. A retrograde who will probably sign the EPA agreement and drag Nigeria back into the colonial era. |
Religious leaders should be ignored. People who peddle mythology and lies should not be taken seriously. |
Dear Nigerians, Your de-facto President has spoken. I hope those of you who voted for 'Buhari' realize what you have done. |
Only a matter of time before they have to declare a day or mourning for their declining fortunes. Did anyone ask this man about his policies? |
