That doesn't leave much time. Q1 is almost over.
And you cannot blame social media for African superstitious nonsense.
The young boy who killed his girlfriend for 'money ritual' did so because he was raised in an environment where logic and reason are absent, not because of 'social media'.
I have been on social media for most of my life, never once have I ever thought about engaging in 'money ritual'. |

I wonder what goes on in the heads of some of you people. You make a good living in your home country so you want to leave what you have and take up third class status in another man's home? This is like selling your house so that you can move into your junior brother's boy's quarters. Are you well OP? |

kkins25: See some of them, "you hate broke guys". people still have along way to go in this our society.
Imagine of western worlds hold similar views, we would not have achieved the feat the world now enjoys. People like Albert Einstein would have died a patent officer. smh!
Nobody would listen to elon musk, or those geeks from india.
In Africa, your value to society is how much bucks you've got in your pocket, not how resourceful you can be.
Wether or not you're one of high hierachy in a certain domanin, once you just have money(even illegally) then you become Alladin-The dictator.
Girls, resources is not only judged by how much cash a person has.
infact the richest folks on the planet don't have the much cash. They have genuine resources.
It is better you marry a guy with 500k and his own house than marry one with 1 million paying rent.
Anyway, if a ladies judges me solely by how much I'm worth, i definitely would also put a quota on her body.
if my wealth diminishes, she is free to leave. once her body looses its appeal, i - too- am free to leave. Many parts of the western world do have women who think and behave the same way. Women look for 'resources' in men everywhere. |

DissTroy: Why aren't you telling the full truth? This drainage project is a collaborative effort between the World Bank and the Akwa Ibom State Government.
It is worth about 19.1 billion naira (according to the exchange rate then) and signed in March 2019.
I know not everyone knows the details but some of us know the fine details of this project.
You are deliberately making it look like it's the state government (and, by extension, Gov. Udom Emmanuel) bankrolling it singlehandedly.
In almost 2 years, the project should be past this stage because the money was released by the World Bank almost immediately. It's right there in the OP that it's a collaborative project between AKS and the World Bank. |

You know a nation is really in the Stone Ages when they revert to calling people 'witches' because they question wasteful spending that furthers more illogical behavior in a nation rife with foolish ideas.
They have a right to take that state's government to court. |

SpecialAdviser: Many Nigerians are so blind to understand that building churches does not stop development.
Many developed countries also have churches. Our problem is that we always like to transfer blame. Buhari is not a Christian. He has never built any church. Has he been able to build any functional refinery? Nay. Has he been able to build any industry? Even government businesses who will manage it?
Even the so called witches, the evil they do will stop any developments. Nonesense They do not use funds in the 21st century to ferment superstitious thinking, especially in places with a dearth of adequate schools or other vital amenities. Nigerians who live without electricity or pipe borne water will celebrate the use of state funds to build a church or mosque and then cry about their hardship the next day. |

Dinirojones: It's so easy for us to blame our past and present leaders for our predicaments....the black skin is cursed... Nothing to do with 'black skin'. It's about the lack of the rule of law or application of the numerous laws. Or the refusal to build a suitable security apparatus. This doesn't happen in other African nations. There's something very wrong with how Nigerians see themselves and their own nation - they treat Nigeria as if it is a toilet and not their home. Very strange people. |
