Oxb90: This is the kind of story that Nigerians are supposed to be reading and hearing every day, not cows and bandits. Rivers and Akwa Ibom states are enjoying the dividends of democracy unlike their neighboring states of Imo and Abia states who are blessed with the worst states governors since 1999. I refuse to believe that any governor is worse than Ayade. |

a) Power company officials b) Politicians c) Religious leaders d) Civil servants
How did homosexuals make it to the top of the list of hated persons in the minds of Nigerians when the above cause much more chaos? |

Toks2008: How will that help matters?
I wrote a thread about recalling all the senators one after the other as a very constitutional and viable way of making them do the needful. The same way that they use the violence of poverty to keep the people in line, real violence should be used against them to for the same end goal. |

uptimumOne23: The talk of a knowledgeable elder. I see power devolution and regulation of social media as key to ending most of our insecurities just to mention. With insecurity out of the way, many things will fall in place and not forgetting the ability for the citizens to hold both state and local government responsible for their actions with the devolution of power in place. Social media is not the cause of Nigeria's ills, it is only being used to highlight how absurd the culture is. I always hear of regulating social media but nothing of regulating religion which has been far more dangerous to Africa than social media. |

Lionessza6: Lol, how will African countries who have failed dealing with tribalism deal with xenophobia?. Dont you think we will be replacing tribalism with xenophobia, as most tribes who are nationals of the nations that will be invaded by hungry migrants will unite and fight the "aliens ". Why runaway from such a smaller challenge ......tribalism ....to an even bigger one ? African tribalism is fueled by ignorance and the general lack of movement. Make it easier for people to travel and that ignorance will dissipate. It's the same formula that has worked elsewhere. I'm not suggesting anything novel. |

I don’t think it’s coincidence ooo It's the African Sahel where people had to fend off Arabs and Islamized Africans. The people in that region subsequently acquired some very unhealthy survival habits that they have tried to push onto the rest of the continent. |

Lionessza6: And some deluded idiots like Julius Malema think it's possible to unite Africa without 1st fixing each nation . They think getting rid of the borders will automatically make everyone peaceful, really ?. It will help dilute a lot of the petty, tribalistic nonsense that Africans seem privy to if there is more movement between places and a realization that the differences are relatively minor. |
