WILLuKPquiet: You guys are hypocrites. You can't be looking for problems up and down and be shouting religion of peace. Only empty barrels make most noise. If you are peaceful it is the people that see you that will say.
You can't send your child to St. Anne's secondary school and be claiming that she should be allowed to wear hijab. Anwars Islam secondary school is there, Islamiyat schools are there. No public Muslim School will allow a female Christian girl come to school with her head uncorverd. She will need to wear hijab Be sincere to yourselves at least for once.
Have you ever asked yourselves why Muslims send their kids to Christan schools and Christians dare not send their kids to Muslim schools?
1. Muslim's setups are awkward, shabby planning. So the schools are not up to standard. That is the truth. Compare Christian schools to the Muslim ones and see the difference. Therefore, the Muslims see the Christian schools enticing because of the standard and send the children there. But when they get there, they start trouble.
2. Christians, can't risk the faith of their wards. They don't want them to be corrupted. So hardly will you see a Christian child in a Muslim school
3. Christians don't want problem. They are warned to love their neighbors as themselves. To avoid problem, they avoid Muslim schools.
Lastly, for our nation to be peaceful. Muslims need to learn how to live peacefully with non Muslims.
Happy weekend the said schools are funded by government |

Hopefully, it is clear for everyone to see that the schools are currently being funded by government even though the ownership is still contentious.
The Kwara government did the right thing by not only allowing the hijab but also ensure it is aligned with the uniform for those who want to wear it. |

of course MURIC will make a mountain of a molehill but THEY ARE CORRECT in the sense that a school that is government owned or funded cannot then claim to be missionary and therefore must respect government rules.
It is up to the government to either sanction the school or withhold funding. It happened in lagos public schools and Lagos house passed a bill.
... and yes, I would say same if an ANSAR-UD-DEEN GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL does not allow a child wear his rosary or scapula when it is being funded by government. |

Marriage, in today's world, does not hold the appeal it used to.
Religion and our old conservative tradition is what still hold that institution and this will likely change in the coming years.
People still marry and quite a lot but the drive appeal and interest is diminished.
The need for kids though has not quite diminished at the same rate as marriage so you see a lot of people marry for the sake of kids and when kids are already there, they don't bother getting married anymore. |

I hope those of you thinking Atiku would have handled the criminality of the herdsmen differently are reading what the Hausa-Fulani governor of Bauchi is saying. Jones4190: History
I remember a time in this country when all the six ministers in Jonathan's kitchen cabinet were all Igbo's. Ayim Pius Ayim was SGF, Ngozi Okonjo Iwealla was in charge finance, Emeka Wogu was in Labour and productivity, Berth Nnaji was in Power and Energy, Dieziani Madueke was the powerful minister for oil. The six of them outside the Federal Executive Council would meet and decide what and what not to be discussed at the larger FEC. Whatever they decided would eventually be the position of government. In 6 years, this was the situation. Okiro and Onovo had the police under their control. Ihejerika and later Minimah controlled the Army. These powerful Igbo's could do and undo. Nigeria was in their pockets. Rather than care about the poor Igbo chaps scattered all over the country, they were busy diverting billions of naira into their accounts at home and abroad. The 2nd Niger Bridge, they didn't do. They shared the money. The Lagos/Calabar rail lines passing through 9 States, 3 of them in the SE, they were not bothered. They refused to pay the Chinese the Counter part fund. They shared the money. Enugu/ Onitsha, Aba/PH and other roads of economic importance to their fellow Igbo's, they abandoned. Who is to blame? Who Was marginalising the Igbo's that time? You had your chance, you bungled it. There was only 1 Yoruba minister worth mentioning at that time, Akinwunmi Adesina. He was in Agric, the yoruba did called or complain of been marginalized. His budget was less than 1% while Emeka Wogu in Labour had over 10% for his ministry, Ayim had unlimited access to the treasury for the benefit of himself and family members. The poor Igbo guys meant nothing to him. If an Igbo becomes President tomorrow after bubu, will there be any difference? The Igbo man will marginalise his fellow Igbo people..... Deziani, Minimah and Okonjo-Iweala are from the South Southand not south east The only South East Minister of note in your post is Barth Nnnaji who was later removed. The only South East Service Chief in your post is Ihejirikai who was later removed. |

Shaw is better than Telles driving forward and progressing with the Ball. Shaw gives Rashford an outside option when he cuts inside. Telles cannot time or make runs. Telles only has better crosses. most women will even expect marriage in return and get angry if the guy doesn't marry them not even for helping the guy financially but just for sticking with him when he had no money. yet, the woman will call it true love.
some laws even recognize financial investment due to a promise to marry to be valid and the party who broke the marriage promise has to refund all investments. Many women have supported and called for this law to be applied to a man who broke a marriage promise.
Such a law can be applied to the lady who broke a marriage promise after investments in her education |

tobechi74: When one truly loves a flower, he does not pluck the flower from its stem. He does not transplant it to his own backyard. The soil condition may be different. The plant may die. Rather, he goes out of his way to water the plants and apply fertilizer. He derives joy by watching its beauty. He desires to improve its beauty. He is not threatened if others admires the flower. He has no interest of purchasing the flower.
When we genuinely love a person, we do not think of how to take advantage of the person for our own benefit. We do not intend to possess the person. Rather we think of how we can improve the other person’s life without depleting ourselves. . We give our partner freedom to be Authentic.
If you truely love her ,there is nothing wrong in assisting her. But when you demand gratitude from her in terms of sex or marriage. It is no longer done out of love.
If she decides not to get married to you After receiving assistance from you, you have no reason to get angry. This is true love.
If you get angry that she did not marry you afterwards, then you were not really helping her. You were helping yourself. You were investing in her. It is a buisness transaction. Not all Investment blossom. Analogy below: if a lady gives her fiancé her life earned savings to better his life because of a promise to marry and the man ends up not marrying her. If she gets angry he did not marry her afterwards then she was not helping him but only helping herself. |

People will wake up in the morning...and post gibberish to chase clout.... The sexual Market Value of a heterosexual person is determined by those of the opposite gender. As at today, the value women pace on a man is largely based on financial and professional success (aka Provider value). The value men place on a woman is largely based on looks / fertility capabilities. I think this will change in some 20-30 years to become more balanced. We will simply evolve to place value on other things more. |

I supported the protest till the day the president disbanded the rogue sars unit and accepted the 5 demands of the protestors. Sadly, the PDP and ipob sponsored elements which constituted the leadership of the protest refused to end the protest for obvious reasons. Myopic youths who couldn’t read in between fell for their gimmicks and refused to leave the streets. The end result was sorrow, tears, blood and carnage.
They have started mobilizing for another round of protest again. Hopefully, Lagosians will be wise enough this time around not to fall for their lies.
