Its not about hating but stating the obvious, GEJ maybe a good man with a kind heart but he's absolutely clueless about running a government.
except for "absolute". i should agree with you. i cant say about PMB however as I am just starting to experience his govt.

This is where the problem lies.
exactly.

most issues pointed at the church fail to focus on the real differences. for instance, catholics are accused of Mariolatry (which is a sin according to the catholic church) even though the real issue comes from "Communion of saints" and belief in "Symbolism and Veneration"

well inn some cases yes. but even less rich dudes can be messed up.

the thing with rich dudes is that i/we tend to see, accentuate and exaggerate their non-financial issues more than not-too-rich dudes.

We won't achieve anything from this discussion if answer questions with questions.
because catholics dont take the Bible as the only source of doctrine. however, whatever they say/do cannot contradict the bible.

nonetheless, the scriptures can be subject to several interpretations that is why the most important entity on the life of a christian (catholic or protestant) is the Holy Spirit.

Hello house. I am at the ministry of education and they insist on authenticating the original of my degree certificate rather than the certified true copy. Can anyone confirm if he had to do same (authenticate original degree certificate )?
TravelRe: Spanish Student Visas by monex(m): 11:49am On Jun 29, 2015
Does anyone know about the letter of eligibility given at the ministry of education during authentication? Is this letter given to one by hand or sent to the school/embassy?

I understand there is a letter of eligibility provided by the ministry of education when you come for authentication. I suspect it could be this letter the school is asking for

Send an email to cog.lagos.leg@maec.es in order to book for legalization appointment with the consulate (subject header of your mail could be Legalization of Documents). They'll reply and give you a date, so your documents must be ready before then. I don't have an answer for your second question yet.
thanks geniuzio. i have sent the mail to them.

the second question is really a bother for me as it seems no one has heard about such a requirement
TravelRe: Spanish Student Visas by monex(m): 7:20am On Jun 29, 2015
Hello guys.

Thanks 1andonly, geniuzio and the rest for the good insight you are providing.

i am going for a distance learning masters (i dont need a visa and dont need to travel to spain) in Spain and my school requires legalisation which i will do in Abuja tomorrow. i followed the advise on page 1.

i would like to know how to book for legalisation at the embassy. is it just to send a mail to cog.lagos@maec.es or is there something else. does the mail require any particular subject header or template?

also, the school (Universitat Rovira i Virgili) requires that I provide a document stating that my Bsc qualification allows me to initiate a master’s degree programme in the country of issue (i.e. Nigeria). has anyone heard about this requirement and where to get such a document/letter?

it was not even in the dailies i think. you probably just believed it because you (like me and a lot of us) felt he was capable of saying it.

My point is, hope PDP doesn't make any attempt to go back to its old ways of playing those divisive cards when the time comes.

You see, they played this how they did because of Ekweremadu not minding the "lopsided" (not like I care where the leaders of the chambers come from) appearance of the positions.

Tomorrow, these same people would cry of "marginalisation of the South" when they are soliciting votes and Nigerians being as forgetful as they are, would fall for their tricks.
A lot of us were tired of the past govt but that doesnt mean the divisive card was played by PDP alone.
GEJ govt was accused of marginalising the south-west by the APC even though APC rooted for Tambuwal over a South-westerner.

i expect PDP (or any new party that springs up) to use the "APC govt is marginalising the south" card and while it would be mere propaganda, this type of propaganda is not and has never been limited to PDP alone

It's not their custom and tradition but it's a very big problem in Edo state. I served in a village in Edo state and cultism is not limited to JSS. Even in primary school, the class 5 and 6. Can't count the number of fights that occurred, usually between rival cult groups or over a girl. Even the girls are not spared. Most times I wonder what their future will be like.
i am edo and it is true. it just that tribal bashing in nigeria today can no longer allow tribes introspectively look at their problems so i dont blame an edo man for trying to deny this

NDLEA officials should not just sit at the airport waiting for couriers to arrest. They need to expand their operations to educating people that have not yet been initiated into the business. Let people know the dangers involved in drug trafficking and the severe penalties involved when one gets caught. If we just sit back and wait to arrest people, there will always be more because the barons are still moving around free and they will always get new couriers. I can't remember ever seeing any NDLEA sponsored advert discouraging people from getting involved in drugs.

i personally found his action honorable. it was the overflogging of the "hero" thing i didnt like.

i also frowned at making it seem he was forced. he had a choice and could have made things go violent but he chose the honourable option.

That was an act of uncommon (in africa) honour not heroism.

PoliticsRe: REPS Amends PIB To Include The Entire Country As ‘host Community’ Of Petroleum. by monex(m): 8:32pm On May 16, 2015
PassingShot:
By what means?
The fact that the crude is pumped through a pipeline that passes through our land, I have a right to benefit from the proceeds as well.
so for cross-border pipelines, all countries will be host communities?

@passingshot please stay within rational boundaries and understand that the pipeline is for the benefit of the other non-producing states. if there is no pipeline (i hope you mean refined products though cos most of the crude is exported from bonny and forcados and the other offshore terminals) passing your state then you get no crude product.

if Nigerdelta were to be sovereign then there could be no crude passing your land even though the oil would still be in their ground.

remember that Ondo in SW has more oil than a SS Edo state. you guys should stop looking at these things as purely 'Yoruba+Hausa' against 'awon omo-ibo'.

i am more concerned about the fact that such social funds will be diverted by the states and host communities even if it is paid

This is a very good news. The project should remin in Lagos State. If the arguement for the decongestion of Lagos holds water, then the project should be relocated to either Ogun state or Ondo state both in the SouthWest, both states also have access to the Atlantic Ocean and crude oil deposits

Jonathan should enjoin his Niger Delta kinsmen to build such for them too in Bayelsa state. Mr Ladi Jadesinmi's project SHALL REMAIN IN THE SOUTH WEST
