emmanuelewumi:So FBNH should benefit more from the transaction. Honeywell also owes fidelity bank. |
samguru:I hope they use this reduce their outstanding shares. By making the total shares of the holding company less than that of the original company. |
I'd really love to see FBNH result for the 3rd quarter of this year. It is not for nothing that they decided to Audit q3 this year. It is not also for nothing that Otedola and Co. rushed in. |
Wapco dividend just landed. I noticed they didnt even bother to take witholding tax. Good |
Princkez:I never see my own oh. |
yMcy56:On a serious note, Gtb can easily pay that judgment sum and bear the effect. A bank that declares over 200,billion in profit after tax las year should be able to pay 35billion judgment debt |
Vitafoam Vitafoam Vitafoam. Where art thou goeth to |
. |
Calebbold:Exactly what they said. But i dont think thats in line with SEC expectations. I believe one day clarity will be met once someone takes it up and earns some money in damages. |
yMcy56:I tried withdrawal now. They just informed me i have to wait for three working days or forfiet 1% of the sum if i want it now |
yMcy56:How lond would withdrawals take. T+3 or instant? |
megamart247:.not entirely true. Some stocks have done way beyond any impact of devaluation. What is very vital in this sphere is one's entry point. For instance anyone that got into vitafoam at some months back will not agree with you. UPDC, wapco etc have also beat devaluation in recent times. Entry is key Thats why its dangerous to generalise and say no stock on nse... |
emmanuelewumi:He is an insider naa |
As was said earlier, if you missed wapco, don't worry too much. It will soon come down for you one more time but don't miss the opportunity cos this might just be the last before the final movement. As for me and my household, na vitafoam matter we carry for head at the moment. We expect good corporate action after a fantastic result. U am aware that the directors are heavy in the stock. We pray they don't fall hand. |
Okomu oil result is the bomb. EPS of 12.16 from 5.24. This is overwhelming |
Ades1:You don't need to worry yourself too much about wapco. Market is generally not doing well and the fantastic results may not even create serious bull. The excellent result has already been factored in by insiders. You may still get at your desired price. |
With EPS of 4.78, Outstanding shares of 997m why is vitafoam still at sub 40 |
Willie2015:Too much insider info on the exchange. I wondered why wapco kept rising for some weeks not knowing the insiders already saw what was coming. Same thing with total. |
My darling wapco. What a pleasant surprise. |
samguru:Its time to count school fees for people wey follow otedola dey buy fbnh. Them no know their mate. #jokes |
yMcy56:hmmm. Fbnh will soon be flying. with all this news more billionaires will be tempted to join. I love the fact that their fight is not like that of Tinubu and Mangal in oando. Its a clean fight of cash. |
Otedola has done the needful. He bought 1.8 billion units. FBNH has officially notified the exchange. https://doclib.ngxgroup.com/Financial_NewsDocs/34328_FBN_HOLDINGS_PLC%20NOTIFICATION_OF_SUBSTANTIAL_SHAREHOLD.pdf Otedola is said by the publication to own 5.03% of fbnh outstanding shares However, new publication indicates that the current chairman of the bank owns 5.37% of the bank's outstanding shares. https://doclib.ngxgroup.com/Financial_NewsDocs/34328_FBN_HOLDINGS_PLC%20NOTIFICATION_OF_SUBSTANTIAL_SHAREHOLD.pdf Hmmm this one everybody dey rush fbnh, make them just come buy us off with our chinkili units |
yMcy56:Its possible he is the highest shareholder. The person with the highest shares before now had just above 500million shares. Otedola should have more than 3billion shares with his 30billion naira |
https://doclib.ngxgroup.com/Financial_NewsDocs/34323_FBN_HOLDINGS_PLC%20STATEMENT_FROM_FBN_HOLDINGS_PLC_ON_IN.pdf FBNH denies otedola take over. (For now sha until notified) |
Stanbic q3 result is out. EPS fell by over 50% https://doclib.ngxgroup.com/Financial_NewsDocs/34317_STANBIC_IBTC__HOLDINGS_PLC%20_QUARTER_3_%20_FINANCIAL_STAT.pdf |
https://www.nairaland.com/6815019/femi-otedola-becomes-first-bankss So na Otedola dey do all this thing for FBNH. Hmmm appears he is done buying. |
wanaj0:My broad the whole thing is confusing. If you go through media publications and news letters from both Heir Holdings and transcorp you will see them refer to the said oil business as a partnership between them. Even Reuters refers to it as a partnership. Transcorp also mentions it as one of its subsidiaries so its hard to agree or counter what you just said.
|
On a very serious note I think Elumelu is doing well with his companies. If transcorp should perform as well as they did in q2. We might see them on a serious move towards loco's price target as Ucap is currently doing. Mind u transcorp is now into oil and gas. |
Seriously expecting UCAP result by Next week, I want to know what is pushing the stock. On a very serious note, I think the NSE has not done well in allowing all that is going on in FBNH to continue without any corporate disclosure on the appropriate platform. If its an interested party buying, the law requires that they make disclosures |
The FBNH guy came today, and he came early. Seems he observed the sit-at-home yesterday. |
FBNH, when is the buyer coming out. I heard he has his time of arrival. Waiting for him today, I need to sell my small remaining units |
nicerod:Almost impossible. Maybe you mean 3% which is very common |
