I am a capitalist,not a nationalist sir.
I only care about my progress and don't care about the masses, thanks.
I actually love corruption wink
Stop confusing yourself with labels: capitalist or nationalist does not mean one who has a numb conscience through acts of morality turpitude. Who says there are no capitalists with human conscience, or that capitalism is synonymous with corruption? The mere fact that capitalism espouses profit-seeking through investment does not mean it give carte blanche to acts of immorality. That you glowly pronounced yourself a "lover of corruption" is a clear indication that you don't understand what capitalism entails and it is also an antithesis to the ethics of capitalism. And, the real capitalists don't go about bleating to every dick and harry, that they are capitalist. It is almost always the people who attribute such tag or label to them.

To our dear absentee student: I will advise you get a new jamb form and prepare to undergo the process of becoming a student (yes, I mean a new student)altogether. The university is governed by rules, and one of these rules states that a student who aspires to defer a semester or session must write and obtain the approval of the university Senate -- with valid reason (s) and proofs, almost on medical grounds. It means the Senate will almost never approve deferment request except on medical grounds. As it stands now, the university deems your status as someone who has abandoned the programme. It would have been possible to reactive your studentship status if you were a postgraduate student. Undergraduates don't enjoy such privilege.

This post is a reflection of a female-imperative society with misplaced priorities...
A society where a man's value is placed only on his resources that benefits the female...
They'll ignore your mental, educational, pschological, physical and every other phase of your life that doesnt benefit females and focus ONLY on your finances....
Anyways...you only hear this nonsense when you roll with Low self-esteemed men and women looking for men to infuriate their already bruised ego ..
GL
The qualities you listed are remarkable but they aren't the most fundamental a man should possess. Also, note that this phase is only attributed to sexual interpersonal relationship between couples. Even when parties in a relationship aren't married, a lot of women are willing to overlook the execess of a man if he is capable of providing all her needs. It is also in line with the global patriarchy structure of the world that places man at the summit of the pyramid.

There is a time-honoured Igbo adage, which says that "the beauty of a man is money." While not underrating other sterling features a man possesses, and being aware of the advantages it confers on women as the second-in-command, money is supreme in the life of man.

My only grouse with your scheme is that it lacks originality and remains an ill-fated mimicry. However, it has my support since it purports to deliver women from whatever it is you think that subjugates them. The snag is that you need something which you don't have to make this scheme a success: sound intellectual foundation.

To lend credence to your apparent intellectual impotency, you have started assigning topics to be authored by your minions, in a scheme that is yet to hit the ground running. What is more, I expect the-so mentioned names to issue statement that disassociates them from you and your "messianic" scheme.

Some women are verse at creating instability and distrust in the early stage of their marriage, through what is called the Hoe Phase/Moment. But Oga, you aided her "hoeing" by reneging on what you earlier agreed on, and also by refusing to use protection. A lot of people have advised you do a DNA test as soon as possible to clear your doubt. That is the only way out of this predicament.

I don't asking her to reveal the paternity of the child would produce favourable/meaningful result. If anything, she might attempt to turn the table on you, by weaving the feminine manipulation card that purportedly portrays her as the victim.

How did you know he is Igbo or that he holds such stereotypical profiling of Igbo ladies? Do you think you have really answered his question by playing the ostrich? What of if his opinion wasn't similar to what you expected? Would it be a proof that the stereotype holds a toga of reality?

Why did you allow your emotion to get the best of you, and become the chief peddler of stereotype? By making reference to another stereotype when you could have provided answers to his question shows you are a prisoner to your ethnic group and could become irrational when uncomfortable but unverifiable remarks are made against it.

FamilyRe: Why Is Witchcraft Always Attributed To The Man's Family by mrblessed(m): 8:07am On Sep 07, 2020
Another way to conceptualise it is to view it from the angle of the inherent, seemingly endless competition and jealousy that exists between and among women. This state of being almost always spills into marriage and imbues their relationship -- that is, for the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law -- with distrust. No amount of poorly-framed and digested labels, such as that called the "Sister Code" could deescalate this gratuitous tension.

For example, a lot of ladies are not enthusiastic if the mother of the guy they intend to marry is alive, even when they are yet to meet her. The audacious ones will expressly telll you that, they are not comfortable with the fact that their would-be mother-in-law is alive. Ditto most mothers-in-law.

This ugly, unhealthy atmosphere is not helped since marriage in Africa has a lot to do with women than men, and the feminine species of the extended family members of both sides are prone to intervene, depending on the character traits of the couple. However, due to the competition, jealousy, and tension that assail most young marriages, the female members of the man's family are usually the first suspects if and when things become amiss. No one dare blames the lady's femsle family members. They are simply irreproachable!
FamilyRe: I Am Suspecting My Wife Is Cheating. Should I Confront Her? by mrblessed(m): 11:42pm On Sep 04, 2020
Your predicament is akin to most financially dependent house wives, who are well aware of the flirtatious disposition of their husbands but are sacred to death to quit the union due to the financial difficulties that would naturally trail separation and divorce. Which man will learn of his wife's sexual escapade and refuse to following her to the venue to catch her right in the act? As someone who decides to play the ostrich, you resorted to "making faces" at her after she might have warmed the bed of another man, as a sign that you understood her games and got the right reward. If you were keen on shaming her, what stopped you from monitoring her movement to the rendezvous and raising alarm if possible? You can't stand idly by and pretend that what you know didn't exist simply because of the fear of the unknown. Do something fast.

Since it is pretty clear that your unfavorable financial standing has rendered you impotent, why not concentrate on doing damage control, instead of asking strangers online what to do, when you are not willing to confront her with the irrefutable evidence at your disposal.

Sixfeetbelle:
No one has ever categorically told me I'm beautiful seeing me without make up and that's because pimples didn't ruin my face growing up so I don't get the "ugly"tag, but the number of compliments I get when I post my made up face alone is more than enough to tell me what the society sees.

See, girls were bullied in high school for having pimple-riddled face and wearing glasses and braces. Girls were used and dumped by guys who after professing love at first, told them they were too ugly for him to date or marry. In fact there's an inside joke that permeates everyday, even on this forum when couples post their pre wedding pictures. "You're a handsome man but your wife is ugly." without remorse or mincing words and while it may be true, it doesn't help whatever motion against make up that you have.

Forget about insecurity/inferiority complex. Some ladies are plainly ugly and have been made a constant mockery of it in every single opportunity. It's not about seeing other ladies as competitors but about them seeing "themselves" as a competition, as the standard or as the prize.
This is a well-crafted protestation that excellently criminalised men and the society, while at the same time presenting the womenfolk as a helpless, marginalised demography in perpetual need of emancipation. In a way, your thesis profoundly answered the question of the op: why waste time and dissipate energy over/on something that is not only superficial but highly erasable? No one intends to provide answer to this question, as doing so will open up a Pandora's box.

I find the third paragraph of your write-up very interesting, because it inadvertently invalidates your first paragraph which tied the amount compliments you receive from guys to the layer of the make up on your face. I was dismayed I didn't get to read about appearance advocacy from you; the act of telling ladies to seek less of male validation/compliments either by reducing, or not wearing make up at all. Rather, men and society were severely reprimanded and condemned for what obviously has to do insecurity and inferiority complex.

Since majority of women are uncomfortable without makeup; can't attend public functions without wearing it, some even wear it while going to bed, it has to with identity perception.

Maybe the crass artificiality of women has something to do with the biblical account of creation; of them not being original, but just a part of man. So to appear "complete" and acceptable, they tend to be grossly obsessed with everything artificial. Whenever you chance upon one of these overly artificialised ladies and are in position to put in some few words, tell them they are complete and beautiful, even when they will surely struggle to accept it.

It is possible there is a coolheaded, responsible, and down-to-earth guy that is unrelentlessly graving for your attention at the moment; the best you can offer yourself is to be foolishly attached to someone who has clearly known you are nothing but a disposable "sidechick."

The problem you have at hand follows you even as you try to avoid it by running away from home. Therefore, you have to attack it head on. From your explanation, I don't see what you have done wrong, except for not being to meet your responsibilities as a husband. But the issue with your wife runs deeper than you think, and only an assertive demand for an explanation from her will salvage this situation. If possible, call the attention of a third party she respects.

Since most Nigerian women have proven incapable of managing success in marriage, especially when they become the breadwinners of their families, you shouldn't swallow her insults without reminding her your roles over the years. Because it is obvious she needs a little history lesson to enable her make a much needed self-examination. A woman who buys a property without informing a husband that has been responsible, will do something worst if and when she gets the chance.

Ghengiskhan:
What do you think an Igbo father will do if is Christian daughter comes home with a Muslim as husband to be ?
Or a Hindu father to a Hindu girl that wants to marry Muslim guy ? Go back and check it's always tribal.... Every tribe attached themselves to a certain religion and they try to justify everything by that religion. Yorubas you said don't have a religion attachment that is why they are an exception.
98% Igbo you will meet are Christian
98% hausa are Muslim
98% Bosnian you will meet are Muslim
98% Indian you will meet are Hindus
That's where the problem is, the west don't have this because they purge themselves of religious attachment
I have to issue this reply not because I believe it will alter your belief system and the indoctrination that shapes your outlook on this topic. In my previous post, I highlighted the challenge parents face when their children seem to deviate from their religious upbringing and I wrote that, with the exception of Yoruba Muslims, all Muslim parents all over the world are likely to inflect bodily harm and injury that may lead to death. This is a common phenomenon in the Muslim world, something hiding under ethnicity would not diminish.

It is not about ethnicity as you erroneously implied. It is not about the classification of ethnic groups according to the dominant religion they practise. It is certainly about following a religious injunction that is viciously intolerant of other religions, and does not sanction conversion to other religions. Why do you think the word "apostasy" is commonly used in Islam? Yes, an Igbo parents -- just any other parents in Nigeria -- would certainly object their daughter marrying a practising Muslim man, but would never be consumed by extremist inclinations to inflict bodily harms on her, or ultimately kill for deviating from their religion. That is the difference which you know, but pretends it exists.

The parents in France took a "final solution" because they knew that that was the worst they can do to the lady, since she isn't in an Islamic world. And, it might also be that she has started the process of leaving Islam. They did for their religious convictions, not because of where they come from. Most Muslim parents, even in Nigeria, would do the same.
FamilyRe: Muslim Girl In France Shaved By Family Over Christian Boyfriend by mrblessed(m): 9:11am On Aug 22, 2020
Ghengiskhan:
First try to know why the family do that to the girl, read about Bosnia massacre, when Christian Serbian killed Muslim Bosnian while the UN sat and watch. What they did is wrong totally wrong and there's no verse in the Quran that proscribed such punishment. I'm Muslim my sister is married to a Christian guy and my two big brothers are married to Christian ladies. It's more of tribal than religion.
Yes. "It is more of "tribal" than religion" according to you. How come it happens everywhere there are Muslims, even in Nigeria. We know some parents, on account of ethnic and religious differences, prevent their children from associating with people who are different from them. With the exception of Yoruba Muslims, other Muslim parents, just like their counterpart in France, are willing to kill their children if they deviate from their religious upbringing. The unfortunate girl is even lucky they didn't kill her but only shaved her hair, maybe because they knew they were not in an Islamic country, where apostasy is criminalised. Because the next step after marrying a Christian guy would naturally be to convert, a move that can earn her death sentence from her family.

You did a very poor spin job of trying to use history as a cover for something that happens in every part of the world, even to people who have no history of ethnic animosity and tension. Take it or leave, it is more of religious injunction than a case of ethnic intolerance. Just recently, Tunisia passed a legislation that would allow Muslim ladies to marry non-Muslim men, after decades of struggle with the influential Islamic clergymen that virtually control all aspects of life of the people.

I did not say single mothers don't deserve a good life. They deserve a good life if they are still able to create one for themselves, but don't hope for one good man to come and rescue you and your kid as if he was there when "Alpha bad boy chad" was pumping....

Interview all these single mums, 95% of them at one time had a serious suitor that was ready to put a ring on their finger....but they don't want that one... They want the irresponsible Alpha bad boy, the one that causes adrenaline and oxytocin to flood through their brains, the riffraff that treats them bad, the one that ejaculates and evacuates, the one that pumps and dumb, that's the one they like. Then when "Alpha starboy" is done with them they will now want the nice "Brother Timothy" whose like they rejected in the past to come and father "Alpha playboy's" son.

As someone that is very intrested in the black race and Nigeria, I've also been wondering if black people are naturally created to be dumb because thats the only excuse I can give right now.

How do I explain politicians stealing and getting caught without thinking of their name?

How do I explain the DUMB POOR PEOPLE who worship their oppressors?

How do I explain the thoughtless youths that carry guns and others to rig election for people making their lives miserable?

How do I explain the hatred, envy, racism of black people against black people?

How do I explain the tribalism of Nigerian tribes against one another and every tribe claiming to be superior and better and thus looking down on other tribes? Wise people would leverage on the good side of each tribe, exchange for development, but in Africa, No, they prefer to spend 24hours discussing how each tribe is bad, never looking at the good side. I have been to all part of Nigeria and I confirm this.

How do I explain an Igbo man always saying they develop someone else's land or they are the reason why such and such land is developed? Wise people wouldn't keep saying that even if they actually did because those statement would only warrant hatred

How do I explain the senseless youths that have mentally checked out of Nigeria? An average youth want to ''Japa(travel out)'', do Yahoo, and other illegal stuffs or you see them cursing Nigeria/fellow blacks up and down.

How do I explain the constant complaints, grumbling, cursing of Nigeria by Nigerians who do nothing to better Nigeria but plan to wake up to meet a Nigeria they never created?

How do I explain Ghanaians, SA hating on other black Nations?

How do I explain African countries not even trying to compete with advanced countries and overtake them?

How do I explain inflating covid19 cases just to collect some money when the pride should actually be in the lower number of cases, imagine Nigeria was to be covid19 free, by now, we would be topping the news and our President would be kind of proud, but they do not understand how such could enrich the country better, they are only intrested in the peanuts they will receive when they hype the number of cases

How do I explain the myopic view of fellow Nigerians on most matters?

How do I explain religious stupidity where someone fainted and people started pouring water and speaking in tongues?

How do I explain religious hypocrites that go to churches and mosques, same people doing juju against one another, bitter against one another, same people are the disgusting average Nigerian racists.

How do I explain the poorest masses sleeping in mountains believing in an impossible miracle?

How do I explain those reading this and already concluding I'm an atheist for speaking against religious stupidity?

How do I explain intentionally believing superstitions, fallacies, tales and not holding to science?

How do I explain commentors ready to ascertain this fact, ready to thumb up this post without ever thinking of doing something to help, but happy to pull down black people and black Nation at the slightest opportunity, they are even excited to comment, Nigeria is a thrash, as if it's a good thing?
I have not come to any conclusion if its a genetical problem in Africa or its just an environmental factor, but I do think for us to solve a problem, we need to first acknowledge the problem
Reading through what you presented, I told myself that the narrative would not be complete if the Igbo man is not mentioned and "shamed." Alas, you didn't disappoint me.

Everyone is talking about the woman . dont u know that there are also men who haven't left a toxic relationship because of dier kids. The woman knows that this kids are his weakness and so she uses dem to taunt him like saying i will take ur kids away from you and so on while some women will deliberately leave the kids with the man knowing that he can't leave them all alone especially if the said family lives in a far country.
This perspective you brilliantly presented is often undermined by the society and all attention is given to the throes women endure when a marriage hits the rock. The notion reads, although grossly erroneous, that it is only men that are capable of abusing a woman in marriage. Women, couched as weak, harmless, and vulnerable demography are constantly in need of protection from unthinking and aggressive men.

Women who are label-obsessed will strongly argue that the man has no attachment whatsoever to his children and wouldn't hesitate for a moment before existing a troubled marriage. But reality shows that a lot of men not only endure but also make sacrifices for their children's wellbeing, which include tolerating an abusive woman.

Dialects spoken poorly are not that bad, one can catch up at one's own pace android there is no major disadvantage.
It is obvious you read a different thread; the reason for your out-of-context reply. First, it is possible for a child to be versed in his parents' language and also have a good command of the English language. They are mutually compatible.
