Why continue telling yourselves these many lies? Why add these ridiculous ideas which you all never live by at the end of the day when you can simply do as Jesus Christ commands and be good with God?

According to Jesus Christ, the only repentance necessary is Baptism to repentance which requires you to die to the Old Way of Moses— the former fountain of Life— and become alive by following the New way and living under the new fountain of Life in the Kingdom of God. After that, all you need do is continue to live your life in submission and obedience to the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ, the New fountain of Living Water, until the very end. Why must you all convolute and complicate things only to end up not ever living by these systems you build like the Pharisees before you?

What are the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ that we are to submit to and Obey?

Title: Three (3) Ways Of Right Repentance.
Minister: Past. S.O. Keku

This year we are blessed.
It is not good to only go to church. It is good to go to church and do what the Word says.
There are wrong ways and right ways to repentance.
The bible says Repent and turn away from your sins.
When we repent we should change our heart and begin to live a life of godliness.

The world we are today is dangerous.
But if you walk in the Lord, nothing shall by any means harm you.
You will know the Truth and the Truth shall set you free.
The Word of God is always new every morning.
We need all the 3 ways of repentance.
When you repent the wrong way, you can go back to sin or backslide.

1. Repentance should be in response to God's kindness. Rom 2:4
God's kindness leads us to repentance.
Repentance is not by guilt but the revelation of God's kindness.
Let's not take the Grace of God for granted.
So many want this Grace of God we are freely enjoying. Some went to Labour room like our sister but didn't come out. May we not wait till we have to pray emergency prayer in Jesus name. Amen.
When it seems God has forgotten you, it is a lie of the devil. One day your prayers will work for you. Keep praying.
There was a time you were single, there was a time you got married. There will always be times needs arise. Let's not forget how God has answered prayers in the past. Let's trust God for whatever needs or situation we find ourselves.

Beware of False Prophets. Do not even give room to listen to them. Do not allow wrong counselling because if you're not careful it can come to pass. Beware of what you hear and see.
Beware when you are blessed and when you are desperate. Evil messengers will not come our way in Jesus name. Amen.
When we remember the kindness of God, He will do more for us in Jesus name. Amen.
A sinner is not a Christian, a Christian is not a sinner.
Every day we wake up let us consider our short comings. Two people know our weaknesses- Holy spirit and evil spirit.
What are those things that easily beset you that make you go back to sin?
God has given you power to stop those things.
When you consider the kindness of God in your life- you will give willingly, you will preach Christ and win souls, etc.
Who can say that God has not been good to them?
Greater are the things that God has in store for you that you don't even know at all.
If you keep falling into sin you allow devil to block your grace, things will not go well for such.

Know that God Loves You.
If He could give us His only begotten Son, what can He not give us?
God will give you Peace and Wisdom. Phil 4:7, James 1:5
Any condition that will make you not to enjoy your life, God will take it away in Jesus name.
The target of the enemy is to frustrate us, God will frustrate our frustrators in Jesus name. Amen.
What you need most is the Salvation of your soul. Romans 8:31-32
God is willing to save us.
Do not wait for things to be better before you serve God.
Do not give God condition. Don't wait till things get better before you serve God.
Repent to Know How Great and Powerful God is.

2. Repent to bear the Fruits of Repentance
Have the Heart to Change and be a child of God. What are the fruits of righteousness you can list that have changed in your life.
What are the Old things that have passes away and what have become new?
Many Christians can't even mention 3.
Alcoholism, lying, fighting, etc.
If the foundations be destroyed what can the righteous do?

When you give your life to Christ that's when your battle begins. The battle to say No to the world and Yes to Christ.
Devil targets true believers and committed believers so that they can use their gifts and fervency for hus kingdom.

Serve God in Humility.
Husbands do not maltreat your wives. Because devil does not need to fight you if you are a problem in your home.
People will tell you to go to various shrines before your problem can be solved. But in Christ, just a prayer will solve the problem.
So many Christians don't believe in the Power in the name of Jesus.
What are you doing secretly?
If you have given your life to Christ you will know that the searchlight of God is on you.

Sister Wilhelmina, a nun was recently exhumed and her body was incorruptible and intact after 4 years!
Because she had the fear of God and true fruits of repentance, God witnessed Himself in her life. You don't need to carry religion on your head. It's not by looking religious. Love God sincerely and bear the fruits of repentance.
What is the relationship between you and God like since you gave your life to Christ?

3. Repentance should be extreme. Some friends will forsake you. Luke 9
Jesus says if your eyes will cause you to sin remove it. If your hands will cause you to sin, cut it off. It is not physical but spiritual cutting- sacrifice these things for Christ.
If you continue looking at people, you will never make it. Devil will send accusers, distractions, ofrenders etc Focus and Face God.
What have you suffered for Christ?
Christ was humiliated and crucified for your sins and mine. What have you sacrificed for God?
LGBTQ and liars are now n the church.
Church activities are not enough, what have you suffered?
You need to be extreme.
You can never be better than the word you are hearing.

2 things a man must never get wrong;
Wife and Church.
With wrong wife and wrong church, a man is destroyed.
There are things prayer can do that money cannot do.
Give to God in service.
On the day of your temptation and trials God will fight for you in Jesus name. Amen

Lust, greed, anger, unforgiveness, pride, sexual immorality require your extremism to overcome them. Say No to them otherwise they will destroy you.
Sowing seeds cannot take your sin away. You have to go to the extreme.
If devil sees bitterness in you, no person can pray for you. Make peace with all men.
There's nothing you leave for God that he will not bless you for.
When you keep doing the same things you will get the same results.
There are eyes on you, but if God is for you, who can be against you?

In conclusion;
1. If you cannot see God's kindness after you have given your life to Christ, you are not fit to be a Christian.
2. If you do not bear fruits of repentance, you cause people to mock God.
3. Your repentance must be extreme/total, you cannot be casual.

It is with great pleasure that I wish to celebrate this year's Father's Day.
God has really taught me a lot about Fatherhood.
It is amazing how we can think we already know, when we have only barely scratched the surface.
I am in awe of what I am yet to know that He will still reveal as time unfurls.

First, let me start by thanking God himself, our Heavenly Father. Words will be exhaustive if I should begin to adorn him with His due praises. He knows my heart of gratitude cannot be expressed by words but worship. All I can say here is ABBA FATHER!

Then I wish to thank our biological Fathers and those who played the role of Father in our lives.
Fathers are a blessing that nature has not been so kind to especially in this generation.
Since the fall of our first earthly parents, Adam and Eve, man has been under the curse to toil and suffer on earth, not because God is a wicked God but simply because the devil is a evil being.
He knows the consequences of sin and tricked Eve to sin against God. Adam being a lover, unwittingly chose Eve over God and like wise disobeyed God.
Love no go kill person.lol

God being Just, simply announced the consequences of their action/sin. I can imagine how much it grieved God. I know that God has redeemed Adam and Eve through the Blood of Jesus Christ and I also forgive their carelessness cos who would not have fallen? Well, except Christ.
Thank God the curse has also been lifted in Christ. Hallelujah.

I am lucky to be blessed to have a good man as a Father. He has his weaknesses but he truly is an epitome of a Father. His shortcomings did cost us his children a lot of pain and wasted years but understanding has made me not only to forgive him but I I am trying my best to exonerate him of any blame at all. Recognising who our mutual arch enemy has always been- the devil.
It some times takes maturity to understand that our parents were simply learning parenting themselves as we were learning childhood and adulthood.
God bless my dad and mom and every parent out there.
I celebrate especially those who try to fulfill their responsibilities and make effort to be good parents, my prayer is that God will reward you beyond your own imaginations. I pray that no matter the fault in your motive or heart, God will correct your motive and help your motive to be right with him. You will truly continue well and end well and enjoy in good health and wealth the good fruits of your good labour in Jesus name.
For those that the pressure of parenting was unbearable for, I pray God forgives your weaknesses and renews your heart and strengthens you to truly seek forgiveness and redemption both with God and your family.

I now wish to celebrate Spiritual Fathers.
This is a sensitive one. So many spiritual Father's have destroyed so many homes and lives. But that does not in any way mean we will not celebrate the true Spiritual Father's who have ministered where it matters most- to our spirit and souls.
I have a lot of Fathers of faith and I thank them all for all they have sown into my spirit and soul and even flesh. If I have to mention names, I fear I may err in commission or omission.
I do pray to be blessed enough to be a blessing to all by spiritual parents as God Wills and according to God's Grace- both male and female.

I seek to appeal to our ladies, especially single mothers. I understand that some men have nearly ruined the name Father and made it almost impossible for some ladies to love men again. But I thank you for taking it upon your selves to try to raise good sons. And I pray that God heals your heart and soul and every hurt you have experienced and are experiencing. I pray God reveals his Fatherhood to you more than ever before. I pray God restores all you have lost, even that which you pray for according to His will and pleasure in Jesus name. Amen.

It is with great pleasure that I wish all Father's, Happy Father's Day.

And I pray for the revelation and blessing of this parting Word in our hearts in Jesus name. Amen

Loan business especially Microfinance is a jungle.
Because it exposes you to the worst of the worst.
Desperate people do desperate things.

1. The Coy Management understands that most borrowers if given the chance do not want to pay back or attempt to beat the system. So they impose sanctions and mount pressure on the staff for loan recovery.

2. The Managers/Supervisors in turn mount pressures on the field staff, esp officers. This causes some officers to become desperate to disburse loans and recover the loans by any means necessary.

3. Some of these clients are diabolical and do all sorts, even attack these officers spiritually and physically whenever they are unable to meet their repayment dates.

I believe this Branch Manager was a victim of this vicious system and cycle.

Hopefully the coy/mgt has some sort of welfare package for the family he left behind.
And I pray God truly lifts his family and everyone from financial bondage in Jesus name. Amen.

There is nothing wrong in a TRUE follower of Jesus calling himself a Christian, THOSE disciples did not refuse to answer Christians when they were called such because they understood what it means. I know that any follower of Jesus that is not confident enough to call themselves Christian are not christians, then I am not saying that everyone that claim to be a Christian or call themselves christians are TRUE CHRISTIANS

I've been observing this for some time now. Once a couple has lived together for ten years,
the closeness between them reduces. As in.. the man no longer sits with the wife to gist or even play. Meanwhile, you'll still see the woman trying to bond and wanting her man to always be around her.

I noticed this in one couple. In fact they are pastor and Mrs. The woman always follows the man every where and wants to sit where he's sitting but the man would clearly avoid her and go out of sight completely when the tailing becomes too much and only come back when the woman is no longer in sight. Why?

No man born of a woman will try such with me, I'll blank you like you're not there.

Women, you too should wise up and stop making yourselves too available. Make yourself a bit scarce and they'll value you.

First of, married couples with better experience are in the best position to answer this.
But from my observation, it is the way God himself created it.

The bible specifically told husbands to love their wives.
It's instructive that this was not a specific instruction to the wife.

The bible simply specidically tells wives to respect their husbands and be submissive to them.

Why?
It is not easy to love a woman. It is easier to love a man. (As seemingly ironic as this is).

I do not mean the way the world system defines love, but the way 1 Corinthians 13 defines love. Love is not easy.

However if God gives you a good wife, loving them is easier. And yes, a prudent wife is a gift from God.
They are a rarity.
When you see a man who is blessed with a prudent wife, you will know. He can't stop showering encomiums on his wife. I recently watched a documentary about former Gov Wike, and I couldn't believe how his demeanour and countenance softened once he started talking about his wife and how she gives him peace of mind. This is a marriage that has stood the longevity test of trials and blessings.

That said, we can't exonerate men from also being a problem to good wives. When a good woman marries a wrong husband, it is most unfortunate. Cos a man can still change a woman but can a woman change a man? But I believe nothing is impossible with God. Even the legal captives will be set free in Jesus name.

Finally about the couple in question, I perceive there was some thing they had in common that held them together, and probably whatever it is has run its course. It could be a physical attraction, or feeling.
But marriage should be beyond attractions and feelings. Marriage should be purpose driven. They simply need to have a quality time to communicate deeply about it.
They should fast and pray before engaging in the deep talk. I believe they will unravel where the issue is and their marriage will experience a greater passion and fire and direction than it has ever had before.

Marriage, is God's Crown in all his creation and Purpose. Which is why the devil fights it with every thing he has.
He fights people from being married.
Fights people to make them marry wrong or be pressured to marry for the wrong reasons.
Fights people by throwing various challenges and lusts/temptations.
Fights the children. Etc.

But when we are conscious of this battles we won't be playing the defensive or victims, we will always be on the offensive and fight from a Victor's position. Cos truly, Christ already won the battles for us. We simply need to come into the knowledge and authority and promises we have in Him.

God help us all.
God bless every marriage.
God help the singles to get marriage right.

The irony of life.
You hate anyone who is lazy yet in the name of love you want to force yourself to marry a lazy woman.

I have a colleague whose wife is a type of your girlfriend and all I can say is he is not happily married. He laments every time over his wife.

Truth is laziness is a stronghold. She can however change but only with continual deliverance. You will be prepared to endure and have a lot of patience.

I perceive you're a believer so I guess the obvious question is have you prayed concerning her?
If you need divine direction for other needs, how much more for the wife you will spend the rest of your life with?

No one can determine a man's wife for him except him.
Any 2 persons can marry if God wills or allows it.

Life is spiritual, she already has the best part- good character and virginity.
However an unbending spirit and laziness is a combination that destroys marriages insidiously.
Mothers are pivotal to what becomes of a home.

I don't judge superficially, all I can say is that you should not rush the marriage at all.
Both of you should seek counsel from marriage counsellors in your church that you respect.
Start with prayer, continue with prayer, end with prayer.

You will get marriage right in Jesus name. Amen.

I don't mean it's wrong to call yourself a Christian. However if the early disciples are our examples, then none of them called themselves Christians. It was others that called them so. I stand to be corrected though.

They simply referred to themselves as saints, believers, brethren, people of the way, etc.

To be a Christian as observed in Antioch, Christ really must have been formed in you. It's the state of Sonship. You can't be a babe any more. You must be someone who needs not be taught again though you remain teachable, you should probably already know your calling or be functioning in your ministry. Cos we are all called into ministry either as Evangelists, Pastors, Teachers, Prophets or Apostles.

That's my point.

I think it's pretty easy this days to catch a cheat in a relationship. Except you're not really interested.

But more importantly, why are we putting ourselves through unnecessary emotional roller coasters?

Until you're ready to marry, what are you doing in a relationship?
Do you not realise that every sexual encounter has serious consequences to your soul?
Do you not realise that the moment you have sex with someone you have placed some measure of your control into their hands?
Do you not realise that your self control is your greatest weapon in life and you keeping losing it with every sexual encounter?
Do you not realise that there are spirits being exchanged during sex?

Do you not realise that you are the temple (house) of God the Holyspirit?

Please unless it's for marriage, focus your time and energy into building yourself spiritually, emotionally, academically, financially, socially, etc.
This does not always fortify you against cheats but it makes you know who you truly are and recognise what you want when you see it.

And yes, it's difficult to forgive a cheat. But when you realise that unforgiveness does more damage to your own soul than the cheat, you will make peace with it.

You've spoken well.
However no one really should call himself a Christian.
Just as in Antioch it was the unbelievers that called the disciples Christians. It is a tangible nature that people can see.

We are saved to be disciples of Christ.
Becoming a Christian (Christ-like) is life time journey as we continue following the teachings of Christ and leadings of Holy spirit- worshipping the Father in Spirit and Truth.

A believer is everyone who believes in the gospel. There is a growth process to this.

I am trusting God to help us to really delve into this topic and unravel this mechanism and strategy that the enemy has used to both infiltrate the church/body of Christ and the world at large.

Do you realise that the enemy of the church is not really unbelievers?
It's not even really witches and wizards?

The enemy of the church is believers- intra and inter- denominationally.

Believers attacking believers spiritually and even physically- intentionally and or ignorantly.
God help us all.

Jesus Christ has paid for it all.
He has overcome and given us all the Victory we could ever need.
So what ails the church?

Please let us study on this topic personally so that we can have a koinoinia and study on it together- iron sharpening iron.

Good day Nairalanders. Pls I need some mature advice because I’ve been in a dilemma for a long time now concerning relocating abroad or staying back in Nigeria.
First of all I’m not a japa advocate. I believe if you’re doing well in Nigeria then there’s no point relocating abroad but I feel there’s so much uncertainty and I don’t know what the future holds for me in this country.

Now I’m a married man of 30 years. I will turn 31 by this September. We have no child yet but wife is preg now. I have a B.Eng in petroleum Engineering but have never worked in my life. My current business is crypto trading which I have been doing for years now. During the 2021 crypto bull run I made lot of money and acquired some properties that’s currently valued atleast 60-70m naira in total. bought my car same year and got married same year to my long time Gf, settled some family members etc . I don’t have any other investments or business aside my properties and crypto portfolio because crypto trading has taken all my time and I won’t complain because so far it has been good. Making money in dollars while in Nigeria is bliss. Even though we have been in bear season since 2022, I still make some money every now and then that’s sustainable for now until we hit another bull run which is likely to happen from next year 2024.

My fear lies here, on the long run crypto trading is not sustainable. If not for 2021 bull run I don’t think I would be in this position and even the projected bull run next year is not 100% certain

I plan on learning a programming skill which is very difficult, I tried learning it late last year but stopped along the line because it was distracting me from trading and missing some opportunities in crypto because making money is most important. Coding would probably take me a few years before I start earning even though it is sustainable long term but crypto trading can be life changing but not sustainable long term . It’s more like a gamble most times.

My plan A, is to gather enough money from now till 2025 which is the duration of the projected bull run if it happens and start investing in real estate development, Like building and selling and other businesses too but I don’t know how feasible that is in our present day Nigeria and if I don’t make my target amount, I might have to start with the available resources present.

plan B, gather some money, learn a skill then relocate to Canada with my family via study route since I don’t have any real work experience aside crypto trading but that would mean me going to study and starting afresh.

For my wife, she also has a degree in Human Resources with just nysc as working experience. She learnt wig making and installation and has been doing her online biz selling wigs etc.

Abroad folks, what are my chances abroad considering my current profile. Is it worth it coming over there to start afresh
And build? I have heard so many things how it’s hard getting a job and you have to rely on survival jobs for the first few years expecially for someone without any work experience.

I really don’t like joining the bandwagon cos everyone seems to be leaving, I love to weigh my options and hate taking unnecessary risk that might lead to regrets, at the same time don’t want to regret not leaving since I’m still young and have the opportunity that’s why I’m here asking these questions to learn from experienced and matured family men home and abroad the action they would take. We learn everyday,

For my unborn kids, if everything checks out, my plan is to give birth to them in either Canada or US for the passport and raise them in Nigeria and when they are grown, send them to study there and that is only if I’m not relocating. And if I’m relocating, what are the in-demand skills and professions I have to take since it’s clear I might be going to school because I hate survival jobs. What is your advice pls.

First of all you're very graced and blessed.
I suspect you or your parents serve God.
Please be more intimate with Him, he is in the best position to guide you best.

Now I'm not married, neither am I successful enough to give you a substantial advice/counsel.

But I believe the programming you have been leaning towards is a nudge in your spirit to invest in that skill.
Trading in money should really not be a business/occupation but that's my opinion.
It is more appropriate for Forex traders/bankers who get paid a salary whether or not they it's bear or bull season.

Building a skill or starting a business is more long term and sustainable.
About the relocation, unless you absolutely have to, Nigeria Is going to be the centre of the world/commerce soon, invest yourself here.

Whatever decision you make, I pray God blesses the honest work of your hands.

So charisma is hardly a yardstick for measuring good leadership.

Obama was very charismatic but was arguably the worst US president in recent time. Trump who was probably the best functional president of USA till date was not so likeable due to his verbosity.

We don't need a charismatic president, we need a functional president and President Tinubu is already proving his mettle.

I keep seeing that igbos hate other tribe, I keep seeing that igbos do not respect their host.... I keep seeing all sort of things.

But I ask again, what have the Igbos done wrong in Nigeria.?

The Igbos are scattered all over Nigeria, but I have never seen or heard where the Igbos fought the local community and take over their land. All the land, houses, and shops that we own, we bought or rented it. We did not demolish anybody's house, we didn't kill and stole their land yet we are been called all sort of names.
There have been too many riots in the past. There have been riots in the north, in South west targeted against one tribe or religion, but I am not sure that there have ever been a riot I the east targeted against the yorubas or the hausas, except for now that UGM and IPOD issue sprang up. Yet they say we hate other tribes.

There have been fighting Several times between the hausa and yorubas in the south west over little issue... Am yet to see any region where there was a fighting between the Igbos and the locals. Yet they said na the igbo dey cause trouble, whilst all we need is just a place to do business.

They said Igbos don't welcome people to their region, but am yet to see where a group of people where chased out from the east for the sole reason that they are not Igbo. A little traveling in the east will reveal to high the high population of hausas residing in the east, despite the issue of UGM, a lot of them are still there. It is not our fault that some people have refused to travel out of their region.

They said we don't give people land. If you have your money, go to the east and look for land, you will see and buy. When we went to other regions, we bought land with our money, no govt agency gave us land free.
So when you get to the east, look for land and buy, then come back and tell us if you were denied the land because you are Igbo.

I pray God reveals your errors and how to correct them. Cos other tribes see it except you.

Igbos need to correct 3 things in their culture:

1. Pride- lack of regard to other tribes.
2. Love of Money- everyone knows this.
3. Traditional rites imposed on Christian igbos. You can't be a Christian and still practise some of the tradional rites and requirements for weddng and funerals. That's idolatry and God hates it passionately.

Know this sir, it is not men fighting you, it's God himself. And you should start praying for mercy and your tribe needs to make necessary amends as aforelisted.

God help us all.
