As for why imported is more expensive, the reason is because we are too lazy to grow our own and import instead. If I grow my local own, it may seem more expensive for you the buyer, but the economy benefits because I'd be paying wages to those who help me produce which increases gdp and benefits society in general since my employees will spend locally, and I'd be paying local taxes which would benefit schools and hospitals and roads etc.

Natural gas, mineral resources and crude oil are all owned by the government.

Why didn't the government solve the problem of local production first? We have gas in excess but they lack the knowledge on how this can be readily available for the citizens.

You should have asked the question on why there are imported LPG when we have it in abundance? Would you have coal in abundance and readily available here and still go to the neighbouring west African country to look for this?

Gas is now more expensive that it used to be thanks to the government whose aim is to inflict hardship on the masses.

DSS claimed there was resistance by Igboho's men but what we saw was that they killed at least two of his men with none of the DSS officer killed or sustain gunshot injury that will lead to hospital treatment. What we heard instead was just DSS claim of an injury by just one officer who we can't even verify.

You claimed he caused unrest in SW to the Fulanis. How about the unrest caused by Fulanis in the SW? What did the government do about this? NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Benin authority is trying to verify the claims of the Nigerian government. According to Falana, he gave an insight into the matter. What he said was that interpol placed Sunday Igboho on their watch list based on the Nigerian government. He was then arrested in Benin with the hope that he will be extradited to Nigeria. In fact, it was said that Buratai being a Career ambassador to Benin pressed for this with the government but since Igboho was captured in Benin, they decided to subject him to their law to confirm all allegations against him by the Nigerian government.

Please, stop carrying fake news. There is no forgery allegation against him as what will the FG, Nigeria lawyers be doing in court on case of forgery of Benin passport.

BBC Yoruba has done a fact finding on this and the issue of passport has been knocked off as something existing only in the imaginations of people.

The case is a case of extradition to Nigeria based on allegations of causing insecurity, division etc.
