Some guy, a director in one of the agencies spoke of how they could not receive their salaries as the outgoing minister wiped their aza clean, paying for contracts, making funny transfers etc. Not until an order came for the parastatals account to be frozen. Meanwhile baba had cleaned out tens of billions to cohorts.
I wonder where that BBQ charlatan is. Surely he will keep his ass kissing mouth shut.

My paddy this evening was gisting me how for the past 1 year he has not bought petrol to power his 10kva genset in his remote farm, all he does is change of oil. How? It seems very soon, we will be carrying pigs in our booth along with a small soak away to power our cars.

Syringe manufacturing involves plastic. In that business, you cannot have interrupted power supply as you will have wastages from plastic solidifying in the injection molding machines. Just an example.

Afternoon, calls me to tell me of her lectures, na so she go call me too ask how my day de go. If I am driving, she will ask how far, where am I heading to etc, say make drive safely.

This same story line was said 30 years ago, it is still being said now. Nigeria imports just as any other country. Go to your average shop in eg the UK, you will find out compared to a naija shop their shops likely have a higher percentage of imported products.
The issue with naija is corruption, mismanagement, wanton oil theft by folks at the highest level of government etc.
