The only disadvantage would be living an unfulfilled life of regrets. If medicine is your aspiration and you can do it, go ahead. I have witnessed a PhD holder in Biochemistry going back for medicine. S, brace up and fulfil your dream.

General Gowon went back to school after his term as Head of State; Obasanjo enrolled for a degree Programme after three terms a president of Nigeria. He holds a PhD today and a lecturer in his 80s. Even at 39, you still have 31 years to serve as a lecturer.
Well said.
Most of our ex leaders went back to school to upgrade themselves even at advanced age. Only the last oga at the top did not.

Politics and others aside, by God's grace, Tinubu's government will not fail, neither will any government in place.
Why? If they fail, it affect us all as Nigerians. I certainly do not want to buy $1 at ₦5k, neither a 2003 corolla for 20m.

As the government is no longer defending naira with $2bn monthly, where is the money diverted to?

$2bn is above ₦2trn monthly and in a year is ₦24trn which is enough to fund our budget yearly. Why do we need to borrow again bearing in mind that trillions are also saved from the subsidy removal.

Buhari said the same thing about TSA account and recovered loots but he ended up printing more Naira more than anyone else in history.

Is it that you forget these things or you choose to blindly accept these lies so as to solidify your resolve to support the government?

Let this sort of stupidity end this year please

You're not very wise. Are you even a Nigerian? NIN, BVN? how about DNA?? People have disappeared without trace for far less. Seems you're so confident with this your NIN/BVN "insurance" from the post above this.
So with your BVN/NIN evidence, why do we still have more than a million fraud cases unresolved in Nigeria today? Some even with CCTV evidence. My guy, no go loose guard oo. You never jam Ogbonge fraudster.
He doesn't even need to buy a Benz like I earlier explained. There are more than a thousand ways.
Thank God he's an honest man shaa!
I may not be very wise, but atleast wise enough to know it is not smart taking such money.
You actually do not know the security agencies well. If they are motivated enough to have your time or that of any criminal, I assure you that you will be fished out no matter where you hide. My dear, pray Nigeria police, dss does not have your time. Note I say this not lightly as I have had experience with irt under kyari.

My lawyer pikin no de around me now, I for ask am the exact legal implications.
Anyway, I know it does not end up well. See, over the years I have seen such and I know the wahala is not worth it.
Fine, a mistake was made by the sender erroneously transferring money into your account. That does not confer on you ownership of the money. The onus is on you to bring to the notice of your bank.
To "swallow" such money is sweet, but to "vomit" it out is bitter.
Do you know that you will be reported to cbn and your BVN blocked for eg 10 years? Can you live without a bank account?
Anyway, as a grown man, it is left to you to do as you please.

let me ask you, when transfering ordinary 1k, doesn't the recipient name and account number show, don't the bank ask you for your secure password before consummation of the transaction transaction of 5m and above oga that money is yours, onless you don't want it. The person that transferred it doesn't have a case
They us why I asked earlier, are you from Benin? Lol.
You want to chop money that is not yours and it is traceable to you. Not money you found in a bag on the road at night with no one watching ohh. Instead money paid into your account for which you have no link to the sender, no business transaction etc.
Omo, the money might be (according to you), your "own" on the short term, but on the long term, you will pay a higher price than that money.

The sum of 88k erroneously paid into my account one time like that. I went to the bank to complain, the customer service looked at me somehow and said " why are you complaining of money paid into your account?" I had to go upstairs to see his boss who apologised.

Right before me the actual owner was traced. He happened to be a retired colonel in Abuja.

I left with a warm handshake from the boss.

It's not always safe to appropriate what does not belong to you.
You did the right thing.
That customer service fellow is a criminal that should not work in the banking industry.

Bros, 3 days ago I went with my 3 kids to slot. Bought 3 items. We got home and while unpacking, my son brought to my notice, we underpaid. On the receipt they charged for 2 items instead of 3.
I got in thr car, took the stress of driving back to slot, showed them the receipt. The 2 cashier ladies was so thankful, obviously the money would have come out of their pockets.
I paid the balance and left.
You get something that is not yours, you return it. Plain and simple. What kind of example will I be setting for my kids if I had celebrated paying for 2 items instead of 3?
As you rightly said, the society.

Those saying he has no option should look at it this way. There is really no withdrawal restrictions at the moment of recieving the large sum. He can as well go to a car dealership and purchase a new Mercedes Benz then simply disappear without trace. Afterall a POS agent got the same error and suddenly became an overnight philanthropist. (See link below)
He simply had many options, and he's a very honest man that should be commended.

Are you from benin? Because as I heard, do coded mago mago deal with benin man and you both will end up in jail. Lol

You obviously do not know things work. His account has NIN and BVN. Have you considered the implications of both numbers being flagged? Aside your accessible details, all known accounts linked to your bvn can be blocked or traced. With your nin also, all your phone lines, bank accounts, international passport, driving license, voters card, vehicle registration etc. How do you register the "benz" without nin?
"Disappear without a trace" is quite easier said than done.

90% Nigerian men are always entitled to their parents property, they never want to build or have theirs, smh.
Oga, the fact he stays with his parents does not mean he might not own his own property.
If his parents are old and obviously need the company, people around to take care of them, the pleasure of seeing and playing with their grand kids, then there is nothing wrong in that.
Do you know that is the best life you can give your aged parents in vulnerable age?
Lots of elderly folks, especially the men are suffering from loneliness, no care etc. Most have the problem of kids that relocated abroad. Most times the mothers have to go stay for Long periods visiting all the kids while the man is left all on his own. You see men in his 70s, 80s cooking himself or going to buy mama put. There is no way you will pay stewards, helps etc that they will give the best to aged parents.
A friend few months ago had to fly in from the US to move his sick dad to a better hospital for treatment, hire a new care giver, then flew out within 1 week because of work, modgage payments etc in the US.
Read about the Indians, pakistanis, jews, Arabs.
If op, stays with them, saves his rent money, uses it to care for them, build his own personal house, he may move along with them. For now, why waste money renting?

Contribution is good only where people are staff of a company, receiving salaries from the same source if not, they will use your money to buy benz.
One fellow reached me last week of an investment company he just got a job in. That you place your money with favorable interest rates, I checked out the website, men and women in suit, atleast not the latest levels where you have some young folks saying they are doing "startup" "hub" and other fancy names. Anyway, to me all na guymen, after some time tori go enter.
Only time I did contribution with six paddies, first round it went well, the initiator said we should triple the money, rather we doubled it.
The initiator collected, na so this guy de enter joints, clubs with big big ass babes, senior ladies that will seat and drink bottles of wine, move to Heineken, then to Stout, finally entering Hennessey with cranberry, all with the usual catfish, chicken and chips, mpobi, snails etc.
Omo, time to pay my money, story entered! Me and the last person, it took 6 months to get our contribution. Matter even reach police! Till today, friendship don scatter.
Since that time, I hear contribution, na japa!
