Mind you, this list was just collected two weeks ago and the wedding is in July. We are from ondo state and ondo don't make such ridiculous lists. Did you notice the note written after the long list still saying the list does not contain some things again? I knw abt the catholics' but catholics don't go abt saying things witnesses say, went to catholic schools and they ddnt for once ask me to convert to a catholic because they believe we are all focusing on one goal-making heaven...I'm sure if I had gone to a witness school,I would av become a witness because all they will focus on is how to convert me to a witness...and I wasn't judging,I was asking questions, who am I to judge...

No one witnesses don't run schools. No 2 dey don't try to convert anybody. They only present wat dey bliv to u and back it up with biblical proof, the decision to accept or not to accept is still yours to make, d decision to be a witness or not is still urs to make. Dia is no compulsion in serving God. If na so witness dey try to convert everyone dey preach to, more than half of d world will be a witness by now. Moreover being a witness is not even for every one cus its not an easy sacrifice to make cus its totally different from d going to church every Sunday dance clap make tithes and offerings and expect miracles mentality. It takes real sacrifice not every one can make. And as I said bfor, talking to a witness to clear up ur misconception abt dem will not make u a witness.

why does JW have their own translation of the bible? Why do u condemn other translation the went ahead to translate the bible into what suits you? You go ahead to criticize yet you are also a victim... You believe other translations are wrong why are you people not using the Scroll-i mean the first bible? Why why why?

The answers to your questions can not be answered on social media. If you really need honest answers find a witness and ask in a conducive environment. That will not make u a witness . the Catholics have dia own Bible translation wia dey even added books called apocryphal books not in d Bible to and yet no one is critising them. Mind you, the story that d witnesses av dia own Bible is just a plain lie to bring dem down fueled by dem Say dem say stories. If you really want to know what they bliv and cogent bible reasons y dey do, den asking dem will be the best option. Don't stay afar and judge people u don't know based on stories being told around by haters.

My living in Europe has made me very sure that Easter has never been a Christian celebration from onset. It was a pagan celebration incorporated into Christianity by the Roman emperor Constantine to appease the pagans who were being forcefully converted into catholism that was made d state religion by Constantine. Till today, Easter is still celebrated in Europe with its original pagan facets. Things like egg hunting and Easter burneys are still part of it.

Can anyone plz tell me wat eggs and rabbits has to do with d death and resurrection of Jesus? How come the day of Easter is always Friday? Can anyone's death anniversary fall on d same day every year. Attached is a picture of a typical Easter shrine that I snapped on Thursday in Germany. Plz notice d decorations with coloured eggs, where in d Bible does that come from. I thank God for not being enslaved to the teachings of men. It's high time we open our eyes in Africa to see that d Christianity brought to us is infused with loads of pagan celebrations like Easter, Christmas, new year ,e.t.c study the Bible with Jehovah's witnesses and ur eyes will be opened to the truth!!

It is impossible to compute the area of a triangle given the length of the base of the triangle only yet our guru correctly gave the area of the triangle even before the height of the triangle was read out.

My conclusion is that the student had seen the question at least before the teacher had read it out and so had computed the answer beforehand. When this is considered we may say his performance was brilliant but not quite exceptional.

If you must question my thesis please kindly question my #Facts and not the sentiment.

U need to watch the clip again. The kids av a computer screen on d podium in front of dem wia d complete questions already pops up. So I came back home from work on Friday night with a sore throat and I'm like this catarr wan start again cus dats wat I usually av since I arrived in dia cold country.

By Saturday morning I was running a temperature and shivering and by afternoon headache was already on d list. I was still enduring it until 9pm wen I couldn't take it anymore and had to call 112. Within minutes krakenwagen show and I av bin in the krakenhaus since den eating two slices of bread for frūstuck und abendessen.

The moral of this story is dat as Nigerians we really fall sick so we myt feel d need to cancel our insurance cus its monthly waste of money. I nearly cancelled mine last month too. But here I am already taken two drips with d 3rd one waiting, injections to my tummy, 5 vials of my blood already taken and an X-ray already done. I'm sure by d time I'm discharged and I get d bill, it won't b less than 2000€ . without insurance preferably public, where person wan tey pay that one.

So guys who are lucky enuf to still b on public insurance, abeg don't ever think of cancelling it oo. And as for those on private, if u are not on union who pays 100% I wish u luck

Lucky u... grin cheesy

Govt pays d rest ..if ah hear...u pay the balance 7.5 % while ur employer contributes the balance....

Then pension contribution 18% (9% employee and 9% employer )or so of ur gross income...

Unemployment insurance 3% (1.5% employee and 1.5%employer)of ur gross income

Nursinf insurance 2.5% (1.175% employee and balance employer) of gross income

Church insurance ....abt 1% or so...

VBL

Income tax insurance then depends on ur tax class...this is the only deduction that varies(depends on class) the rest is fixed...as a young guy (single) u prolly will contribute btwn 38-40% of ur gross income.....

http://www.gtai.de/GTAI/Navigation/EN/Invest/Investment-guide/Employees-and-social-security/the-german-social-security-system,t=allocation-of-contributions,did=6730.html

But as a student u wnt pay such taxes if u earn less than 800 euros durin sch term and for holiday jobs there is a tax waiver..other than that...forget it u must contribute all dat stuff there.

Well the system is well structured! And there re loads of benefits.

All d best pple.

u only pay church tax if u tell them u are a christian wen u went to get ur tax class. i told them i am a Jehovah's witness and i dont belong to any of their nominal churches so y will my money be taken to fund wat i dont belive in. so they put me under no religion class and i dont get to pay to fund dia churches

For those that are in Nigeria hoping to come to Germany and make money while going to school,it is very difficult, just stay back in Nigeria because if you come here, you will drop out of school and at the end of it you may not get the money because those that are working full time pay upto 35% tax and by the time you pay house rent and feeding the money will remain small. We don enter am be say we don enter am no come join us unless if your condition is so bad in Nigeria, if not you will join us to wail. By the time you pay working tax from 19% to 35%,television and radio tax, insurance, house rent, feeding, all the money don kaput

The total German tax is actually 15.7% and not up to all d figures u put up. This 15.7% include d summation of ur health insurance called Kv -Beitrag abt 8% , ur pension contribution called PV-Beitrag and ur tax called RV Beitrag. I was in Aok office today to discuss abt my health insurance and all these was explained to me in details. D good thing is once u start working full time, u don't pay d bulk of ur monthly health insurance premium alone again as ur employer pays 9%, u pay 8% which is deducted straight from ur salary and d govt pays d rest . I went dia with d mind of cancelling my contract cus of d high 171€ monthly fee but was told no need cus a company I started working for in January registered me not as a student but as a full time worker meaning all I need to pay is 8% of wateva I earn even if na 50€…

Na better matter una raise for here oh. For me I went to a private doctor for tooth filling and they increased my insurance the next month. Someone who understand the german insurance system should say something. We many wey this thing dey pain oh

Ur premium was not increased cus u went to a dentist. It was increased cus all public insurance increased dia premium nationwide stating from 2016. According to wat I heard doe not verified, d reason is to compensate d refugees brought into d system without monthly income. So its like d Obama Care wia dey take more from d haves to upset d deficit from d have nots.

If na cus of d dentist den my premium should av bin increased since last may wen I did a surgery of 4k. Its just DAT once u are above 30 u pay more. I was paying 128 den it went to 165 now to 171 from next month. So if u are paying 80 plz stay with public cus dey will av ur back wen u need dem. If not for Aok wia I go see 4k pay after my surgery. Na to run go back Naija b DAT.

Anoda thing is if u get a job wia dey register u as a full time worker and not student, ur company pays part of ur insurance fee yle a % is deducted from ur salary from source. I was told a company I just started working with did DAT for me so I need to go dia ist to clarify before I weigh my options cus 171€ no b beans

Please people in Germany, I want to ask a very urgent question. What's the merit/demerit of Private/Public insurance? I need someone who has used both to give me good answers based on facts and not based on hear say. I want to leave public for private. The money is too much. 80 euros a month is 8 hours job, where the money go come from? I also hear people who start with public change to private because in the end they find it very difficult to pay after they have exhausted their blocked account. So what then is the need of dashing the public insurance company money in the first place if you still end up changing?

I haven't been to the hospital my 5 months spent here now, but I intend doing so at least to enjoy the benefits of money I paid before I make the switch. Because in the end na God dey protect person, no be manpower. So please and please, what would I stand to lose by leaving the public health insurance for a private one in order to save 50 euros monthly, and which private health insurance would you recommend?

cc Nevilbot, Dmaejay, Jejet, Futurewise11, Futurewiser, Cindino, Daimlerbenz, and every other experienced person I have forgotten to mention.

I am presently in this ur dilemma. U are paying 80€ and complaining. Mine have just bin increased to 171€ so I will jump at ur 80€ right about now. Public is d best but d fee is killing. I'm even going over to Aok on Friday as I am thinking of cancelling and going with union hanse marker of 78€ but my guy its not an easy decision as I know d implication but I'm still at a croos road. So my advice for u is if u are still less Dan 30 and u are paying 80 to public please and please stay with dem. U don't want d stress wen u really need dem

Signing sumtin into law and not implementing it is even a crime of d admin DAT did DAT cus laws are meant to b obeyed. BT this na Naija wia no one obeys d law sha.

The 50 naira might not b good for d masses, govt myt abuse d system BT a law is a law and most countries av such things. I think the uproar is cus Naija govts av bin known not to use incomes judiciously, wat we should b screaming abt is accountability for our 50# not abusing a govt for implementing an existing law!!!

Religion / Re: 10 Points To Show That Jesus Is God Of The Old Testament Too by nevilbot: 9:41am On Jan 24, 2016
Jesus himself at no time claimed to b God or equal to God.

He said at John 14:28 "You
heard that I said to you, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I am" so how can he be going to himself if he was God or how can he be greater Dan himself.

He also said at john 5:30 I cannot do a single thing of my own initiative. Just as I hear, I judge, and my judgment is righteous because I seek, not my own will, but the will of him who sent me. So how can he be God himself wen he said he seeks not his own will BT d will of God who sent him.

John 17:3 also shows Jesus and God are two different entities when it talks about taking in knowledge of the only true God and who God sent which is Jesus Christ.

John 5:26 says For just as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted also to the Son to have life in himself. So how can Jesus himself b God when his own life was granted to him by God.

Ephesians 1:3 says Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, for he has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in union with Christ" Here God is called the father of Jesus. To those saying Jesus is God, are u the same with your father?

Finally the Israelites in the old testament never for once believed that Jehovah God they worshipped was a 3 in 1 or trinity. They know and believed that God is one God.
Deuteronomy 6 :4 says " Listen, O israel, Jehovah our God is one God.

The trinity teaching of God being d same with Jesus did not originate from the bible nor did Jesus or his disciples ever preached it. Jesus at no time claimed to b God or equal to God as he several times called God his father and prayed to God and not to himself. Trinity teaching was an input of roman teachings into Christianity during d catholic era of roman emperor Constantine and he even had to call a conference at a city called Nicaea to make it legal where they den came up with d trash DAT since Jesus was God den Mary must be mother of God. That's y catholics till dis day still worship Mary as mother of God asking her to pay for them.

Jehovah and Jesus are two different people with one being greater than the other and Jehovah was so great that he could send Jesus his son to the earth. During the baptism of Jesus, God himself spoke from heaven yle Jesus was still in d water on earth. How could he be speaking from heaven if he was d same person in human form on earth!!

You are really so funny. So it's too big a deal for you to see that you have zero facts or evidence to support your claim? The op posted construction pictures you disbelieved it. I made refrence to the plaque, your mouth is still leaking. And yet you seriously believe you're informed, exposed and educated. What an irony. How can an exposed person like you be sticking his neck way out in an evidence based argument with just some bunch of mere assumptions?

Let me give you a low down.

Say, tomorrow it's proven that there's no construction whatsoever on that site, I can conviniently claim that it was the op's fault for posting wrong pics and info. But you, if tomorrow it's proven that the pics are authentic, what would be your explaination for all these mistalks leaking out of your mouth? Do you ever wonder why it's so easy for you to believe that GEJ has not done anything on a contract he awarded since 2014, you even believe that the pictures you see are fake and the plaque you can almost touch is a fraud. Yet it's too hard for you to believe that amaechi lied. So so sorry for you.

And regarding the structures, my argument is yes, residential estates are and can actually be PART of modern university campuses, and therefore it is silly to conclude that those pictures were not credible just because the structures appeard like a residential estate to you, and if that concept is too hard for you to grasp, once again, so, so sorry for your awesome exposure.

No point arguing with u cus its obvious a av not bin around a decent and modern uni bfor cus if u av u wont pass those buildings as uni buildings and u av also obviously not lived long in nigeria to know dat plagues dont count for anything wen it comes to politicians and dia antics of commissioning anything to score cheap political points

And as for bin pro amaechi or anti gej, i dont support eida of dem. My point is give us beta evidence and not des pics dat dont bear any link watsoeva to a university. #irestmycase# thanks for d argument. It made my chilly winter evening warm and fun

And who told you that what you saw on the pictures are the only projects ongoing on the campus, or the first ones for that matter? Mr. Know It All, seriously it baffles me how folks like you can base their arguments on mere assumptions, and still be cocky about their silly propositions. Gosh. Even if you disbelieve the buildings, how about the plaque? Or do you construct such and invite the president to come and comission it when all you have on ground is "feasibility studies", as claimed by your honarable minister? For goodness sake are you guys doused or what?

So its d plague dat is decieving u. Let me take u down memory lane a bit so u can get a sense abt my silly propositions. During objs tenure he came to a ground breaking ceremony for bitumen exploration in ondo state which happens to b my state. Dey installed plagues and said it was 50% completed. Go dia today no single structure is dia. One bucket of bitumen dem neva explore.

If at this stage u are still bin decieved by a plague bearing a politicians name den u need to attend a crash course in nigerian orientation.

I am not for or againsnt amaechi bt if u guys want to prove amaechi as a lier u need to do beta dan des fake ass pics u guys are peddling for every gullible fellow to fall on. I av seen enuf new universities built in nigeria to know a uni layout wen i see one and dos in dat pics are not uni layouts. Who builds uni like residential buildings in nigeria? Is dat how gullible we av bcome to bliv everything dey try to shove down our throats.

Produce beta evidence if u av dem and stop attacking people who ddont share ur opinions. No, It is not a stereo-type. Germans are actually known to be very, very punctual. In fact, they are punctual to a fault.
And do not base your consideration on you sending emails to professors since August. Professors receive too many mails than they can physically reply to. An average professor from a reputed institution receives at least 20 emails daily (these included mails from current students, prospective applicants, research fellows, assistants and the list goes on). This is not some survey done but you'd agree if you get the chance to look over your professor's shoulder, one day, while checking his mailbox.
It's not absurd not to hear from some professors for a very long time - mainly the reason why most of them maintain a personal page on the University website and even have a FAQ section.

So the ones dat replied are not busy or dont recieve many mails like others abi? Yes germans a punctual and prompt bt its not all of dem biko. Lets stop all d generalisation
