sonnie10: Head scan or full body scan, u are not supposed to put on jewelries in any of eida ct or mri. As a general rule, you will need to remove any metal objects from your body, such as jewellery, hair clips, etc. It is best not to wear clothes with metal zips, studs, etc. 1 Like |

MyGeneration: i have done my research and can say yes he was arrested cus he was a politician during the era and almost all politicians were arrested by buhari on his coming to power. even northerners were not spared, all were arrested from east to west to north so it was not an anti igbo thing as u want us to believe. secondly u want us to bliv he left him in jail until he was ousted by ibb but my google search says it was the same buhari that released him later unconditionallly as no skeleton was found in his cupboard after investigation. so a lil dose of google.com can help us all. thanks 13 Likes |

After 13 years in exile, the Federal Government of Nigeria under President Shehu Aliyu Usman Shagari granted an official pardon to Odumegwu-Ojukwu and opened the road for a triumphant return in 1982. The people of Nnewi gave him the now very famous chieftaincy title of Ikemba (Strength of the Nation, while the entire Igbo nation took to calling him Dikedioramma ("beloved hero of the masses" during his living arrangement in his family home in Nnewi, Anambra. His foray into politics was disappointing to many, who wanted him to stay above the fray. The ruling party, NPN, rigged him out of the senate seat, which was purportedly lost to a relatively little known state commissioner in then Governor Jim Nwobodo's cabinet called Dr. Edwin Onwudiwe. The second Republic was truncated on 31 December 1983 by Major-General Muhammadu Buhari, supported by General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida and Brigadier Sani Abacha. The junta proceeded to arrest and to keep Ojukwu in Kirikiri Maximum Security Prison, Lagos, alongside most prominent politicians of that era. Having never been charged with any crimes, he was unconditionally released from detention on 1 October 1984, alongside 249 other politicians of that era—former Ministers Adamu Ciroma and Maitama Sule were also on that batch of released politicians. In ordering his release, the Head of State, General Buhari said inter alia: "While we will not hesitate to send those found with cases to answer before the special military tribunal, no person will be kept in detention a-day longer than necessary if investigations have not so far incriminated him." (WEST AFRICA, 8 October 1984) - source https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C._Odumegwu_Ojukwu so the truth did indeed set him free as he was not the only one arrested or was he charged for any offence wen he was deemed to av not committed any. if u dont av skeletons in ur cupboard, u dont av to be scared of buhari. haters beware 16 Likes |

All these arguments abt language is just funny and unnecesarry. Someone even claimed some letters come in english and i just laffed. I av bin in germany 1yr 2months now and i av neva recieved a letter in english not once not ever. Even frankfurt messe that is an international company and wia i dont need german to do d job cus i dont get to speak during work hours still stoped me from working cus of german. The only place d train annouces in english is frankfurt stadium, frankfurt airport, frankfurt main station and d european central bank despite frankfurt bin an international city. Im now taking german classes a1.1 and dat level alone cost me 350€ So we should stop saying surviving without d language is easy. Even police will chance u to support dia citizen who speaks to dem in german cus dey know u dont get wat is bin said. 1 Like |

If anyone is considering coming to Frankfurt or its environs, I might be willing to help d best way I can. We need Nigerian students here badly as it can get really lonely without ur people around Also I was in a seminar like two weeks ago wia d president (vc) of d uni in fulda was in attendance and he said all those who will apply to dia MSc engineering courses will be admitted as dey av many spaces with few applicants. But d downside is DAT all dia courses are in German. So if u can speak and write in German, u myt consider the school. Finally as for paying for uni - assist, I can be of assistance but u will av to pay more due to d bank charges involved in withdrawing in Germany with a Naija ATM card. Have a friend who still has functional Naija ATM and I myt b able to convince him to help. Tschüss 4 Likes |

If ur school allows it, go to the public insurance company, ask for a rejection letter from them on the grounds of age making them understand u can't afford the high fee u will b paying monthly after u clock 30, take the letter to ur school and get d go ahead to go private. Then u can sign up for the one I posted. |

Some weeks back my very good friend prophet eke(rtd) which u all know as eke40seven invited me 2 com give my german experience account and even though i took so long to ansa, here i am. i just hope u guys bear with me cus its not that i forgot abt here. i read posts daily just bin busy with stuffs. you guys coming to germany this winter will soon understand. back to the issues at hand, b4 i ansa eke's questions, i need to drop some infos, 2 specifically 1) a lot of people av contacted me about the job link i posted some months back. some even started bothering me about it even though they are yet to be in germany. well sorry to inform you that nigerian students can no longer av access to the job. this is because u need a document called gewerbeischien (business license) for the job. the german govt in its infinite wisdom however deems it fit that non-eu students can not av dat document cus with that document, u can be self employed and run your own bizness in germany. so plz stop sending me msgs abt the job again. And to some who contacted me asking me how they will get to germany to come and work, plz i am not a travel or job agent. the only way i know that can bring u to germany is thru study. thanks 2)the second issue i will like to address is the issue of student health insurance specifically for any student that will be above 30 years on ur arrival in germany (even if u are one seconds above 30 years on ur arrival, u fall into this category). It is a known fact that students over 30 yrs cant take the public health insurance any longer so the option left is the private for which we all run to mawista bcus it has one of the cheapest premium monthly. if you are the type of student that rarely goes to a hospital and u do not av medical issues that warrants u to see doctors frequently, yes mawista is good for u. just pay ur premiums and enjoy ur life. but if you are the type that av reasons to visit hospitals frequently, or u will need a surgery or u want to feel safe about ursef, plz and plz, do not (and i repeat) do not use mawista. my reason being that mawista will never pay 100% of ur hospital bills wen it really matters. they might pay for the small small hospital checkups but wen it comes to real bills like surgery and long term hospitalization, they will pay some % based on ur contract yle u bear the rest. i know students presently who are in debts running into 3000euros cus mawista did not pay their total fees wen they had real medical issues. the best health insurance company to sign up with if u are above 30 is the one that came out of an agreement btw the deutsche studentenwerk (German national student union) and hanse merkur. it is meant purely for international students above 30 yrs. just sign up for their optimum tariff plan wia u pay a monthly premium of 78 euros and u are 100% covered should you need any form of hospitalization or treatment. this is the link to their page. https://portal.versicherungsdienste.de/dsw-studenten-kv/index.en.html they even pay your burial/repatriation of remains cost should u die in germany up to 10,000 euros (this will not be anyone's portion though). information they say is power, plz assist ursef and do not fall into unnecessary debt yle u are still thinking on how to manage block act. mawista is a not the best public health insurance u can get as a student any other question, i will be pleased to ansa. thanks and God bless our hustles 8 Likes 3 Shares |
