Kobojunkie:Aside from the greedy and political aspect of religion...the doctrine of the bible is the best to nurture a child and have a saner clime....but it's so pathetic that it's only the favourable aspect of the bible that our religious leaders are using for their selfish interest. *Orun nikan lo meni ti yoo la* Sis Kobo...if you eventually have a child (ren) of yours... won't you nurture him/her with the biblical principles? Cos I'm 💯 sure you were never born an atheist. |
Kobojunkie:I never replied because your question has its answers in it already and I don't want the topic to generate into arguing religion.... Talking about the catholic church...their impact on bringing the religion down here to us was initially flawless and it's 80% beneficial to everyone unlike their fellow Islamic counterpart whose religion preach war on infidels. According to them. The primary aim of the CMS and Roman catholic in bringing christianity to us was to tell us about christ...but they found it hard to communicate with the locals which brought about the formal education we're both enjoying today...that same education brought light and both positive and negative impact on us....but as time goes by...the greed in human started monopolizing the religion and using the bible for their selfish interest. The Jesus Christ we're all emulating never monopolize the gospel neither did he selfishly milk his followers dry but healed .... blessed and performed miracles according to the bible. To my original topic; Is it faith that we lack as human to be employing a guard or greed and selfishness that gives people the effontery to steal from the church? |
budaatum:It's been a while ma'am...I love the pics attached to your comment. Hope you're good ma? |
It's because they know that marriage isn't all about having sexual intercourse only. They believe they need to be responsible for the kids they'd be bringing to the world without them turning to almajiris. They believe that education is light and d knowledge is power.....a teenager without quality education would end up wasteful to herself...her kids... family and society at large. They believe that they're a growing child...not a bride at teenage. My view. |
Afamsi:What's Onuku? |
Kobojunkie:Hmmmmmmmmmm |
Kobojunkie:The rate at which christianity is being privatized and monetized in Nigeria without giving back to the society saddened my heart. Imagine members of a church can't afford the tuition fees of their kids in the same church they've been paying tithe. Some mega churches will query their parish pastors during monthly returns if the money is incomplete. There's much hunger and suffering in town...no mega church is doing or saying anything yet living large. I just tire....God abeg! |
Yet many are suffering to have a 3Square meal daily. Aside from dunamis church that does some philanthropical works...none of this big churches are helping their members.... Jesus fed 5000 in his days. |
This topic had been bothering me for a long time that I don't feel satisfied with the responses I get offline on it... I want the scholars on here to please shed more light on this: Thieves kept bulging into church and mosque buildings to steal electronics and money...after several praying and reporting to the police with no positive results...the pastor concluded on getting a guard...*vigilante corp* to help secure the church at night while each members pay for his salary. Nobody dare enter a shrine to steal without instant repercussions...so I'm confused and need clarification Sirs/Mas. |
Train a child in a way he should go...when he grows up he'd never depart from it. Old age wouldn't be a problem should the man treats his wife well while they were still young. Kids never forget...no matter how long the ill treatment is... they're only waiting for the right time to pay back for all the abuses. Many modern men have started learning and adjusting to being there for their wives and kids...not financially alone but all aspects to safeguard their old age. Be good to your family especially kids cos they are your tomorrow. |
Reading through all the comments baffled me as to who the person breaking sincere women hearts are..... Every commenter above kept painting women badly....how about we women that were used...jilted and dumped despite the sincere love ..sacrifices and commitment....na same women too? This campaign about women being useless is becoming harsh on Nairaland that the few innocent ones are getting tangled up in the whole mess.... truly some women are bad but this generalization isn't worth it...have you dated or married all the women in the universe to create a yardstick for generalization? Eniyan lon ko esin loro....esin o ni ika ninu.. |
abobote:I don't know about that....as I've never practiced such lifestyle. Multi-task in raising kids... taking care of the home and spouse... functioning well in career and working diligently in the church and others. Women are strong. I'm proud to be one of them! |
Ability to multi-task comfortably. |
Hmmmmmmmmmm |
jaksmillioniar:I'm still very sure that she's a good person...I've known her for close to a decade on here. You people should settle whatever disputes amidst amicably as an adult and stop calling yourselves out on here....... thanks |
jaksmillioniar:The more you see..... Cococandy is one of the happily married ladies on here...her response to posts are not always bias...she states the truth at all the time..unlike the others. She's not just a responsible wife and mother but a professional health practitioner which earns her more respect on here. Kindly subtract her name from the list. |
HopeSpencer:And you're sounding proud of your actions? What happened to talking it out and going for counseling or therapy? Labour can be traumatic on every women if she's not rightly guided... should we all think about the pain of the first child...no woman would want to have sexual intercourse to produce kids again....but thank God for healing the pain. Moreso, marriage is not all about sexual intercourse only and shouldn't be the yardstick for leaving your family. I'm sure by now.. she'd have learnt about her mistakes for begging people for intervention.. kindly forgive her and make your marriage work for your kid's sake Sir. |
The heart of man is desperately wicked! Imagine sleeping with a child you could father and still attempted murder on confrontation. I weep for my dear countrymen. |

UselessBuharist:I was only kidding... there's no need for being rude.... nothing is actually over. Smiles |
UselessBuharist:Is it over already? |
Creativity22:LoL Not like that....their dollar has much value whén converted to our naira...maybe that was the reason for the reckless spending. Smile |
This is disheartening! The heart of human are desperately wicked! What lesson is she going to teach her female daughters with such vengeance? What if something bad happened to her on her way to Ghana? Life no just balance sha! |
Lol The said Ex might be a diasporan who earns in dollars. I doubt if a legitimate hustler in Nigeria will offer such amount to girlfriends....maybe because of my environment sha. |
A wrong person in marriage is a man/woman who sidelined his/her biological kids... irrespective of what the situation may be. |
PoliteActivist:Ok |
PoliteActivist:No probs if you're doubting me then. What if I upload a fake dp? My previous post should give you a hint. If you still not believe... good luck on your unbelieve Sir. |
PoliteActivist:LoL....I don't fake things ...I've been on Nairaland over a decade...I'm a lady ... nothing to expose. |

LoL I'm a lady...just sighting the obvious. |
Nazgul:Spot on 💯 |
Don't forget to add that... things that worked for you might not work for others. Following the above might cause more damage on many relationships. It's easier said than done...we have many forming feminist on Nairaland yet living large offline with their boyfriends and sugar daddies. Do what you feel is best for you and never live life according to another person's script cos you ain't same person... My 2cent. |
I'm a HSP(Highly Sensitive Person) It seems weird to my siblings growing up and currently I'm enjoying every bit of it.....I easily know people within few periods of conversing with them... and lots more...it helps me not to get easily disappointed when people truly show their real intent. |
