Righteousness2:Funny, what about "no paper or coin with dead leaders on it, no service". That has been the mark since Roman times, yet here we all are 2000 years later. |
Two people come to mind... I shan't name names ![]() Hopefully Arewa youths will maintain this same energy in late 2022 (primaries season) |
LIVINGICON:Abi now... for me the answer has been: - eat less starch. Less rice, eba, yam, etc. - reduce beer and mineral intake - do the plank once in the morning, once at night, 60 seconds each. My South-South girls sha... that tummy no be here. Even on skinny 20 year olds. It's that apku. ![]() |
First thing I thought was, the lady is correct... that hair is a good investment. If you know you know. ![]() |
Looks like one of my aunties... those shades and the hair... somehow I'm reminded of OKIN bisquits and miranda. Those days... ![]() |
Ellasure:Hah! Nigerian youths will still vote in whoever PDP or APC thrust before them. How many votes did Duke, Sowore or Moghalu get last election? 35, 34, and 22 thousand votes respectively, out of 27 million votes. The youth vote would be enough to propel any of these to the top, yet, they just voted for the same people that keep them enslaved. I've grown tired of hoping my people will see reason. ![]() |
In other words, something IBB wasn't when he was in charge of the country and made it worse ![]() |
Iyasaburi:Because it's better to be informed about serious issues, no matter the source. |
It's been 6 years, and we're still hearing excuses. Na wao... so it's GEJ's fault that Buhari's policies have ground the economy to halt, and seen the dealth of thousands due to insecurity. What was Buhari's and his cronies' mandate: didn't they say they were going to fix electricity in 6 months, make 1N=1, provide more jobs than there are people, crush the insurgency? I mean if he only solved these 4 promises - in spite of what state the economy was when he got the reins - we won't be where we are now. Abeg shift jor ![]() |
paulolee:No be today things now... I'm sure he (or somebody) was removing rods steadily. It was just this last one that did him in. I'm sure it was 8:35am the next day. No be naija we dey? |
The spokesman added that the corpse had been handed over to the police in Bichi for further action. For further questioning or as how? This is how police will go and find wetin no loss. Last people he called, plus next of kin will soon be arrested and harrassed, in the name of "investigation". RIP to the Mallam, may his soul rest in peace. |
Another scam loading. Let gov't just leave all these services for private companies who are far more competent... the NEPA they unbundled nko? ![]() |
MozB:Agreed, but make we no forget BankyW for giving him the platform and being his first stage rocket booster. |
See fine someborry... just slaughter person pikin... When I see posters saying "fear women", I used to laugh... but this handshake is going past the elbow. |
Says a member of the world's largest scam. ![]() |
Onyi22:Please also advise Nigerian girls to work hard and make their own money. Our parents sent us all to school - boys and girls - and opportunities for entrepreneurship is there for both genders. |
Hm... another footballer not saving up and investing. Nothing wrong with riding a simple Toyota camry while you invest your millions. Don't even need to open a business or invest in somebody's risky scheme. Just put 20% in savings, 30% in bonds, 50% in stocks. You and your generations are all set. No be jealousy, na advice. Too many black athletes end up broke once the pay stops because they never learned to be good with money. Let people laugh... they won't come to your rescue when you need 500k for surgery in your middle-age. |
Best quote of the year for me: "The country is blessed but those who are governing the country are not blessed; they are a curse." - Elder Obafemi Olopade Imagine witnessing all the promise this country had in 1960, and watching it just freefall at the hands of incompetence for 60 years. I was a small boy in the 80's listening to how we would have universal drinking water by 1990. Nigeria go beta, e go beta. 2021, who could imagine it's still such a shithole, even worse? ![]() |
All these agbalagba getting loans on top of the head of youths, when they won't be around to suffer and pay it. Nonsense. ![]() Didn't he learn lessons from 1980s when our debt servicing was greater than our health budget? Then smart people came and negotiated to pay off those bad debts, and here he is again, mortgaging our future. What's worse is the naira has gone from 190 when he started to 500 now. By the time he leaves it might be 700. So we're going to work 3x as much to pay back the loans - no matter price of oil. Create jobs, create wealth. Not borrow and make your people indebted. If these leaders were serious, they would cut down their chicken and car budget. That alone can build a couple factories and employ 2000 engineers. Please youths, next time vote for people with some kind of financial acumen, for your own sake. |
Yet he and his boys lock up people for small mistakes all the time, sometimes without trial for years. Abegi, let him go and enjoy the hospitality of FBI. |
adecz:I have a feeling this was just a "test run" with a relatively inexpensive drug... if this had been successful, they would upgrade, but now they know this obgeni na bad market |
So there's no maggi in the UK (the country that invented maggi)? I would have refused. There's almost no Nigerian food you can't find in London, even dried catfish, iru, and shaki. No need to carry food for ANYBODY again, especially as we've seen how they put drugs inside yam, spices, fish, and other foods. So thankful for the man's instinct... saved him a lifetime of jail |
So sayeth our NEPA-bill certificate holder. But in this Nigeria, educational qualification actually holds you back, to be honest, because it just teaches you to acquire knowledge, but not to apply it to solve real problems. |
AkatConcept:Why surprised? They all started their careers collecting 10, 20, 50 naira. Then they upgraded to demanding 2k, 10k. As they move to DPO, they demand their share of their boys' takings. And so on... |
DoggoneDogg:Abi now... just know sey your matter don done if you see your name vs USA. Chai. This news dey sweet my belle well well. I hope more people are indicted and invited to chill out in a luxury premises in USA for 20 years ![]() |
festacman:Ah ahhh ... Naija police wey don cast since... you can't cast what has already been casted ![]() I didn't even understand that rooster-and-bull story involving running errands for a tailor.. ![]() |

Reex12:He bought his own house abi? That's investing. And from what I see, that first building were he was thanking God for making him a landlord is like multiple flats (I could be wrong) After investing in property, he bought a car, then he bought a car for his mom. |
KennethEnyi:You're talking about the gbam-gbam section? What about the one next to it with the cream (abi grey) columns? Abi you no see that one? ![]() |
Nice one!! It seems these upcoming comedians are learning from the mistakes of old Nollywood actors: buy house, invest your earnings when you're hot, so that you'll have something solid when your time is done. Not to be popping and clubbing, then coming to cry that you don't have a house or can't pay your medical bills. Good one jare. |
Speaktruth88:I agree with you. I should have emphasized that cocaine should be legalized. The thrust of my argument is: "if it's no longer illegal to manufacture, transport, possess, or use a drug, it would remove all the illegal activities currently involved". Drug smuggling won't be a thing anymore, and neither would be all the loss of life and incarceration that currently results. The current war on drugs does not prevent those who want it from getting it, so to me it's wasted effort. Decriminalization - to me - is typically a first step towards legalization. |
