If a goat should eat it there are still other copies written down and memorized, the Quran was compiled together in one plank during umar's caliphate, umar was a friend and companion of the Prophet so whoever claims it was 100 or 300 years after the death of the Prophet should fool himself.

2. "There will be towards the end of time a people who will say to you what neither you nor your forebears ever heard before. Beware of them lest they misguide you and bring you confusion."

It is like your question always turn the truth in upside down. You perceive Islam different from what muslims believe it to be. Where do you find contradictions in Allah's words? Allah promise forgiveness for everybody who turn sincerely in repentance as long as the person is still breathing. The same way he did for the first created man and forgiveness thereafter. Allah promise rewards for every deed and punishment for who does otherwise. The intercession after judgment is for those who does not associate partnership with God almighty. That is why prophet Muhammad says:"whoever believe there is no deity worthy of worship save Allah(God) will enter paradise".

Be sincere to yourself and understand Islam by start reading Quran and not just ordinary copy and paste propaganda.

hi noetic i dont mean to ridicule the prophets and writers of the bible but what i mean by 'dumb, foolish, outdated men' is what the athiest in thier post refer to holy men and prophets as being 'dumb, foolish and outdated'. Yet this men they despise have revealed an ancient truth that has stood the test of time which is all athiest are fools according to Psalms. However by choosing to believe the bible, i have choosen to be 'dumb,foolish and outdated' by worldly standard but before God, i have choosen the wisdom of God which is wiser than men (including athiest) so pls dont be offended.

Faithful Muslims are asked that they be beheaded, amputated, etc? Why are they asked so? 'Cause of no reasons, NO! But because they did something very grave, e.g. who killed should be killed; a thief (who stole goods, for instance of certain value) should be amputated; an adulterer be stoned, etc YET you are saying they should be forgiven. What a rubbish!

And secondly, he so-called CONDONE husband who beats wife? And that beating, which is cautioned to be LIGHT!

My question: Beating or perpetuating any of these actions that their doers are ordered to be killed, stoned, etc, which one deserves punishment?

Allah never decree all Muslims to hell. You, time more than count, talk of these verses and are always aptly explained to you. Please don't sound obtuse.

What is Qur'an? It's the Last and Guarded Testament of the Bible.

Any way, let me attempt it: should different offense, for e.g. a stealer of a car and that of a bicycle, both be judged the same and received same verdicts? For instance be sentenced to 5-5 years imprisonment? I think it'd be a bit fairer if the former was sentenced to 2, while the latter 5. Isn't it more just?  

BTW, you remind me of one of my lecturers, many at times, noetic2. He always reiterates "confusion is good in learning" whenever feels his students are confused. I wish you all the best.

This is very serious. So you don't know the meaning of 'pure' as used in that sentence, and you expect 'unpure hypocrite' to be the opposite.
Even my sister in primary school will know that 'pure hypocrite' as used in the statement means 'whole, complete hypocrite'.

Athiesm on Nairaland is a topic that has tried to ridicule God and the bible. Precisely, it is not just an unbelief in God but the belief that God does not exist hence all human beings are on thier own, they live and die to themselves only. i was musing over the goodness of God and this is what i realised that trying to give credit to charles darwin as the 'father' of athiesm is null. infact athiesm existed way beyond charles time. it existed before Christ Jesus (my Chief High Priest) was born and after He died, raised from the dead, it was acknowledged by paul.

Well atheist dont get all excited yet. if the book which u so discredit has acknowledged that there were athiest - who deny the existence of God, it means that in this book contains more than present day athiest will have us believe. It stated in

Ps 14:1
The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

If a book that was written by 'dumb, foolish, outdated' men were moved to write the bible from which the above verse was taken, who lived some thousand of years before us. Then it means that athiest should consider what this book has to say with soberness and humility.

Unfortunately it reasoned that they are plain fools meaning that one deceives him/herself to think that there is no God, no supernatural etc.

so my fellow friends, consider this soberly.

How can God be a mystery God, this is why a christian can't challemge an atheist. The Quran makes us known that God hjas a Mighty Hand and His throne is bigger than the 7 heavens and earth and is sited above the sea, He has a mighty chair bigger than the heaven. He looks upon the people everyday and in that glance He bless and take, He make some rich and some poor, He makes it possible to give birth to a baby alive and He takes lives, gladtiding and calamity etc. God isn't a mystery
