updatechange:I thought the same, fair enough the Ooni has moved to a newer palace building, but couldn't he have maintained the older palace structures? I will give it to the Emirs in the North, they maintain their old palaces even if they have new dwellings, out of respect for tradition... God bless Yoruba Land |
Northerners complain about negative stereotypes about them.. Then I read posts like this and I dey laugh ![]() lol these people... |
12345DKO:Politricks, we dont care come 2023 we go smash am... APC an PDP trash.. |
TecM0:Thats right you collected more than a kobo from APC ![]() Your name along with the likes of Helinues and Arrewa have been noted.. Keep posting trash.. lol |
DexterousOne:I agree it is too much at this point.. |
DexterousOne:It has nothing to do with the Southern common man, more the Southern political elite.. That is why the likes of Tinubu and Sanwo need to go in my book.. The South does have leverage and will almost definately be exercising it come 2023.. Lekki Tollgate was the turning point.. |
I dont agree with the Biafran movement. But did Nnamdi Kano not say this, that Boko Haram had sponsors in the Northern political elite.. How else can you explain that within a week of the EndSars protests accounts were being frozen and people arrested. But regarding Boko Haram no sponsors were ever found and no accounts frozen.. He was right on this issue, Southern people make note of this discrepancy.. The real shame is that it took a foreign govt who actually has a weak record on money laundering to spot these activity and arrest them.. Mtchew come 2023 you know what to do.. Throw them out.. Ditto PDP if they dont offer a decent southern candidate.. |
wow the Northern political elite really doesnt give a damn about respecting the idea of a secular Nigeria.. Nothing else to say.. |
ucsquare:I know, probably built using foreign contractors.... While other countries are building high speed rail networks, huge airports and even spaceports mtcheww... |
The Biden effect... ![]() Buhari don worry... |
favor914:Every important political position is packed by Northerners, that is clear for all to see. The problem is that the politics have changed. Most groups in the South realise that Northern domination of the political system is unhealthy, especially with bigotted individuals like Buhari at the helm.. Such Nepotism is not helpful, is unmeritocratic and has the side effect of causing ethnic divisions to increase. Southerners have increasingly realised this and rigging the election wont help either.. I can forsee in 2023, that pretty much all of the South will vote against Buhari or any other Northern candidate. If the Arrewa force a fake electoral outcome down the throats of the South, we will almost definately see a repeat of the EndSars unrest... Even worse if people in the South feel their vote isnt reflected in the national elections, the South will want ro succede.. What then?? Everyone knows the main economy is in the South, the North will suffer economically without Southern wealth and oil wealth in particular... |
Happy2020:Eyyy? You dis one, who are you ![]() I already said "As well as how many other groups have come to love Southern Nigerian music. " Mtcheww you love to talk talk for no reason... jare.. |
One makes you realise how many Nigerians there are in the diaspora.. As well as how many other groups have come to love Southern Nigerian music. ![]() Well done to Wizkid.. |
Moferere:So is everything IPOB now..? Mtchew See your life. That the greed of governors and failure to deliver a working economy to the youths is the cause of unrest isnt ROCKET SCIENCE... Its obvious Jare... ![]() |
I am not a muslim, but I dont even like Alcohol.. But why should the hisbah be confidently destroying someone's stock? Nigeria is supposed to be a secular nation. Are Christians and other groups in Kano no longer free to drink? Yet some folks here are wondering why calls for restructuring the nation are growing... |
SilverNorGold:Luck is not required.. History has taught us time and again, unjust regimes always fall... Nigerians openly demanded better govt and the govt responded by killing them. When you hold back water what happens, pressure builds... I am on the right side of history you are not.. Remember how things ended for Gaddafi..? Good luck collaborator.Eventually that knock on the door will come and you will remember this conversation ![]() |
SilverNorGold:I admire your belief in Buhari and his ilk. Borders on faith, like Trump you too will be disappointed.. Why would I waste energy on presenting information to the same men who ordered a massacre..? I was rather join the next wave of EndSars protests or see Buhari fall at the ballot box in 2023 |
SilverNorGold:Read the premium times article, eye witness accounts and multiple video sources.. The Nazis tried that angle, that no direct orders went from certain higher ups to the SS soldiers slaughtering innocents.. It didnt save them at Nuremburg and it wont save Buhari, you and his ilk... The end is nigh ![]() |
SilverNorGold:We have nothing to fear from you.. Biden and his advisors dislike any human rights abuses. Buhari will feel the foreign policy shift in no time.. The Lekki Massacre and suppresion of EndSARS will not go unpunished... ![]() |
thebosstrevor1:Nonsense, so where the protests that ultimately resulted in the emergence of the United States anarchy.. Going by your faulty pro govt logic, Nelson Mandela and George Washington were simply anarchists...? Mtcheww |
thebosstrevor1:I am not sure you understand the democratic right to protest no matter how destructive.. Anything else is tyranny.. |
Well given we are living under a government with autocratic tendencies, I am not surprised.. But threatening well known NGOs like Amnesty International is a new low. Disgraceful.. |
The current political class is scrambling to make themselves look more accountable. Its too late Jare, don't worry come 2023 you will all be going home.. Mtchew... Rubbish |
clydedaniels:Sadly I think you are correct. The elites haven't addressed the problem. Instead made a few piecemeal statements and carried on as usual. It is clear the elites don't care about the general population and the only way to deal with them is to get rid of them in 2023. |
tot:It does... wow |
Wow this will backfire. Instead of addressing the concerns of protestors, you attempt to muzzle dissent. Nigeria is no longer a true democracy at this point. For those who were warned about electing a former despot Buhari, now you know why!! Mtchew, such a shame... |
So let me get the straight. These Shiites are not upset with the loss of innocent lives in a place of worship. But they are upset with the French's stoic reaction and defence of secular values which is exactly why France doesn't look like Nigeria and more specifically Northern Nigeria? I don't get it Wow |
ok, but why so many posts about El Rufai? Will he be running in 2023 or something... He has a questionable record and he shouldn't be celebrated.. |
That's risky, if it was Obama versus Trump I would put a million down.. Not Biden vs Trump too close to call |
The only thing that gets me about this, is people gathering and touching the same surfaces during coronavirus is less than ideal.. Plus wouldn't it be better if everyone had power and charged their phones in the comfort of their own homes?? |
Wise man, many people have said it before, the south changed after the Lekki Tollgate massacre.. It is one thing for people to be murdered in the bush, quite another to shamelessly shoot at unarmed protestors in the heart of Lagos... Buhari and his lackeys like Tinubu are finished.. |
