Wow! Nice

Hope you enjoyed it? How was the taste
It was sweet not too sugary, moist on the inside, tasted very 'mangoish' I got some accolades from my family grin grin grin. I baked it this evening to eat tomorrow but they have already eaten almost half of it grin

I felt it wont come out fine because of the little water I added to rinse the blended pulp out but it was still nice.

Very simple, cheap and straight forward to make.

What did she do when the first bolded happened. What explanation did she give the husband? Or did she assume she owed him no explanation cos if she explained why she wouldnt continue he wouldn't be here complaining

The second bolded. Let's even not start on this as millions of women go through this daily and none acts this way You that wrote this wont act this way to your husband so whywouuld you justify this. Has she even bothered to explain her reasons to him so that he can at least reason with her.

Finally, why do we expect consideration for an inconsiderate person. Who should empathize with whom here If she doesnt want to have sex with her husband by all account it is her body and she can do whatever she wants with it. She too should not expect sacrifices from the husband when he refuses things to her. She can emphasize with him too when that happens

sisisioge:
Omoge, I'm not fight with you o. Infact let me drop kisses here before moving on kiss kiss kiss kiss

See, her case was that her sister in-law lost a child while she recently had her 5th child. She then observed that the sister in-law spends too much time with the child alone while she's left to be wondering what goes on when her baby isn't with her. She didn't bother to have that woman to woman convo with her SIL about wanting to spend time with her own child too hence need to decrease the amount of time SIL takes. Rather, she completely blocked SIL in the rudest way possible. Issue got escalated and she maintained that SIL shouldn't near her baby.

In my opinion o, allowing SIL access to spend time with the baby wouldn't have brought extended families into the matter to the extent of suggesting that she completely transfer her baby to SIL!

But since they have said it now, the next thing would be to leave SIL house for her with their babies in toll. Now the cruise is back to...can they afford that? Moving to a new place will take money, time and a whole lot of resources that they can't even begin to fathom now. Something as simple as being at peace when her children leave to go and play in the compound that she takes for granted becomes something to worry about in a new place. Something as trivial as SIL minding the kids while she rush to the market becomes a task. I'm sure she would get to appreciate things better in her new abode. Good luck to her. Let me leave the thread for good.
Oya chop kiss back too kiss kiss kiss you dont really fight online like that naaw.

*Drags her back to the thread*

Initially Op allowed the co-wife to play with baby during the day and would go pick her up to breastfeed but CO-wife made a request to spend the night with the baby which OP declined and we cant fault her for that which is the genesis of the whole story, I would have thought the issue would end there and with time Co-wife would heal after the few days of not responding to OP's greeting and hopefully soonest she would have her own kids,

What I wasn't expecting was the family trying to force her to give her baby to the co wife, the husband being in agreement with it and the co-wife now treating her badly because of it and the issue was always with the baby the OP stated she still allowed her other kids to go there. Sounds like a sort of conspiracy or gang up and nobody would be comfortable with such people.

She's in a tight situation but still she cant give her child to her co-wife

It is well.

This was how you guys guessed the intentions of the other woman and encouraged her to make an issue out of nothing! Well, here we are. Which sane person will ask a complete transfer of a child between two women living in the same compound? Do you even think the other woman would want to take her fellow wife's child as her own knowing fully well that they live in the same compound and the whole world, plus the siblings of the child will tell the baby who her true mama is? How long do you think it takes babies to really know their mothers and refuse to be picked up by someone other than their mothers? For all we know, that woman was just spending time with the baby while she completely heals.

Well, I guess you guys will assist with sound advice again. Cheers.
The issue has taken a new dimension hasn't it. They just did the bolded. The true intentions are now open, They just asked (tried to force) her to give her baby to the woman and the woman is now being hard on the OP. Should she go ahead?

And calm down with the 'you guys' stuff, I dont think I posted on this thread initially just read through, the update got to me.

Wawi! So it came to that! The last time you brought this story here, I advised that you allow her assess to you baby bysharing with her. [I didn't even say gift her the baby as a whole but share like anyone sensitive to the other woman's plight would be. But no o, your other motherly sisters were attacking me saying I was asking you to gift your child to another. See now. No issues would have arose if you were just nice enough to allow her continue to be your baby's nanny until she gets tired of the stress of the unpaid service, given that you still have a multitude to care for. It was a very simple solution where everyone wins.

Anyways, it is time to woman up towards your responsibilities. You can't be living in free accommodation plus free whatever join while spiting your benefactor. And you can't of course be forced to completely give up your child...Infact, she shouldn't actually want anything to do with you and your children again. The insult and spite from you was just too much

May God bless everybody with what their heart desires...who knows, they here can gather money for you to get you started, but it won't measure to what that woman you were spiteful towards has given you and your family so far.

Let me add that if you eventually get a job, you may be required to leave your baby with a nanny or whoever while you're out like most working class women do. That's like some 8 hours of someone else "sharing" your baby with you o. Anyways, let's hope for the best. You should do a business that allows you be with the child 24/7.

I'm sorry, I get so unglued when women are especially nasty to one another when it comes to child bearing. Good luck.
Calm down, there was no spite or insult from the OP's end.

The end goal was always to get the OP to give the woman her baby, now they have come out directly initially it was subtle. She would never have gotten tired of nanny service for that child because in her mind she would use the baby to replace hers which she lost.

Are you now saying because they accommodated them they should have used their baby as a compensation so that their benefactor wont feel spited?

A nanny or creche service is not 'sharing' your baby please and that statement share a baby sounds somehow abeg.

Theres nothing nasty about what she did every true mother would do same even if she has 10 children.

Op's co-wife's situation is not where any woman wants to be but its not the OP's fault.

She has done nothing wrong.

Things are happening in Nigeria sha, first time I am hearing that a mother is being forced to give her baby to someone.

I bet you would have preferred you and your husband adopt right?

Instead of you to accept the child as yours since the child is your husband blood. You are allowing your mind to be filled with ungodly thoughts..

Oh! It's the financial that is your concern right? Then split the account and take what's yours.. This even shows that you didn't forgive him truly but just trying to live by it..

Remember Nine Years no child.. So, is you or your husband getting any younger? You doesn't beat you, he still loves you and takes care of you. He didn't vent his anger or frustration for not having child or children, he protects you from relatives/outsiders and you don't appreciate it..

What if he decides to marry another wife today, will you divorce him?

Tell me is there a place in the Bible that condemn polygamy? Please give me the verse biko.

Many of us are hypocrites.. We claim to be christian yet we can't practice the true doctrine of the bible "Forgive & Forget"..

Imagine how everyone is condemning the Husband. And that will keep poisoning your mind and heart.

Someone even said he broke the marriage vows as if he or she understands what marriage vow is.. He's still having her under his roof, he still love and cares for her..So which vow was broken?

Becareful the kind of council you receive out here.. The deed is done. Just live in peace with your husband..
The vow broken is the 'Forsaking all others' part.

This story looks somehow abeg I can’t fit can!!

Which Nigerian man won’t know the right hole to have sex? To the extent it took you 3 months to locate the vagina. Don’t your wife know her own Vagina to direct you to it that she has to keep quiet for 3 months? Didn’t they teach you biology in school

This story is quack on arrival . What an odd couple if this story is true!! sad
You would be surprised at the number of couples who had to look for the 'hole' when they first got married.

Even the wife couldn't locate the vagina in one case I know, it really has nothing to do with knowing biology, theory is always different from practical.

I never disputed that, Men have been held to the same standard for years, Nobody complained. Now we begin to hold women to certain standards.
It now becomes a problem, the goal post has shifted.

Realistically a lady between 26 - 29 years should have a job of atleast 70 - 80k in today's Nigeria. What do you bring to the table if your earning power is just 30k ehn? WHAT?!

I don't know why everyone is suddenly pretending that life ends on Nairaland.
Lool at the bolded, I wasnt even talking about ladies alone.

Now how many Nigerians (male and female) between 26-29 years earn 70-80k.

Before 26 you should have been working If you graduated early, at 26 you should have a decent income & not Alawee kind of income.
26 + 3 years work experience makes you 29. If you don't have a decent income at within this period then what are you doing with your life?
Sometimes we are not always realistic, How many Nigerian graduates that graduated early have a decent non allawee type of job before 26, lets even say before 30.

This has always been my point, lots of graduates are not financially stable till their 30s, some never ever get financially stable. It is what it is in Nigeria.

A sizeable amount of graduates will struggle till their mid 30s, even 40s.
