Women are wired differently from men.
Pregnancy is not an easy thing to bear my brother so you have cut her some slack. Remember it's her first pregnancy so try and pet her. As soon as she put to bed and weans the child after 3-5 months, sit her down and iron things out with her. Share the house bills with her such that if she refuses to contribute from the shop, the house will suffer. It can be electricity bill or gas bill. Make her understand that she has to take care of you as her husband by making your meals and cleaning the house otherwise you employ someone who will do it and she pays the bill for it. She can't eat her cake and have it. That is marriage.

This guy looks like a player, don't waste your precious time with him, keep your options open, meet new people.

You are even so insecured with him anyways so what's the point.

So if he has money today and he asks you to marry him would you? someone that has a reputation of a string of ladies and not like he has repented fully or something.

My own is this statement 'Asides earning money to train her children'.

If she earned money to train you and your plenty siblings, then she's not lazy.

She just might not be a 'I can do all by myself' person.

Marriage is not the problem. People are the problem. Marriage is just where the problems that have always existed manifest in some of their ugliest forms. Marriage removes the facade and reveals real character. You marry a nonsense person you will see nonsense. If you are a nonsense person, marriage will show your nonsense

The truth is a lot of people are just horrible these days simple. Marriage does not make them horrible, they just are.
Oshey, thank you sir.

People are always the problem marriage has always been and will always be a beautiful thing.

When they say build good character (male and female oo) , be fair to your spouse , be nice to your spouse, some will say it's not like that.

They will just be doing anyhow behaving anyhow, having this lackadaisical mindset towards marriage. .

If this narrative is anything close to the truth, I'm not surprised, because Akure women have this generational curse on them, no matter how colourful their marriage might be, they are ending up in their father's house. Anybody close to Akure side will attest to this fact.

You never stated the course you studied

Where exactly in Agbara do you reside, Opic, Lusada. Morogbo, Ijanikin? If Agbara is really dry, people won't be renting apartments there because of jobs they got in the industries, it's always a matter of matter of time and chance to get those jobs.

Also lots of salary earning people around agbara ijanikin axis either work within the industrial estate or work in Central Lagos.

Widen your search and don't limit your self to agbara. I am talking from experience.

Landlord business na the last business I go ever do for this country.
It's not like they even see anything front he biz sef, as it takes years to recoup your capital sef, let alone profit; in addition to the shitty behavior most Nigeriansare renowned for...
Lots of Nigerians have terrible Behaviour.

And on NL Landlord is always at fault irrespective of the shitty Behaviour of the tenant.

Yampotatocarrot:
You're not totally correct, bro. That's why agreements are necessary before moving into any accomodation. There should be rules and regulations.

I know a three storey building filled with flats where there's a designated area in the compound assigned for generators. If you like, put on your generator for one month, no one cares. Where I live, one of the rules on the list is "no hotplate or electric cooker", but the landlord had to strike it off.

So, the landlord should have informed him before he moved in. The landlord is likely a troublesome person for him not to have considered meeting his new tenant before he paid, considering he lives in the same compound (I might be wrong though)
As for the bolded you are most likely wrong like.

Now let's assume there is no rule /agreement about the generator, there's always common sense haba. I did blame the baba for not having it in the agreement but then it's expected for human beings to be rational,e.g so because it's not in the agreement to clean your compound, you won't sweep your environment?

Common sense tells you your generator is inconveniencing others,
The old man even took a mat to sleep beside the Gen, both the OP and his friend cannot even deduce that the old man couldn't sleep zero empathy.

This is why some landlords in Lagos are now having very water tight agreements, even down to things that seem irrelevant.

yes the landlord is the bad one here

and I'm baffled on why you only talked about the generator part

what about warning him not to have female visitors

where's that done, are the ladies the landlord relatives?
Typical, Yeah right Landlord is the devil and tenant is always a Saint on NL.

Loool, the matter just pepper me for body, selfish and inconsiderate people, even coming to NL to Bragg, had the guts to call an elderly man crazy simply because they were playing PS, if the landlord nack him friend quit notice now, he will start shouting up and down landlords are bad.

Do you understand how the house was built?what made you even jump into conclusion that he was disturbing other tenant?
If you had read my post well you would have seen the clause 'if you have' let's even assume it's only him and the landlord living in the compound, it's not proper leaving your Gen on till that time because you will the disturbing the other person, even the next compound.

People like that are simply inconsiderate and selfish that's all.

In some CDAs here you do not put on your Gen till past 11, the overnight security guard will come bang your gate to put it off as they claim its a security risk and they can't hear what's happening with generators on.

The OP is wrong and he is looking for support to blame to landlord and paint landlord black.
Properties › Re: My Experience With A Landlord In Ibadan by NoToPile: 6:05am On Dec 24, 2021
But why would your Gen be on till past 12 in a house shared with other people, you don't want them to sleep?

As usual, on NL the landlord is the evil one not the tenant that refuse to consider others living in the compound, I blame him for not including it in the agreement, houses with multiple flats do have an agreement for Gen to be on till 11 pm maximum most times.

There's a 16 flat house I know and if every tenant puts on Gen till past 12 it would be crazy.

You have used your own power as a fake military officer, you forget that everybody get him own power.

I don't even understand what you are bragging about sef, calling him crazy for asking you to put of your Gen by past 12 am, even if the landlord is not there, are you not disturbing other Co tenants if you have.

So is olori Ashley no longer a single mother?
Does the tradition now permit it?

Theres more to this matter, Naomi can't divorce the ooni because he married another wife, she has said so anyway and everybody knows he's a king and can marry plenty wives.

There's another reason the reason they are all silent about, possibly same reason wuraola left.

This her 2017 post means she was engaged to be married to or in a relationship with the ooni if not she wouldn't have the confidence to write Aya oosha etc etc on her page.

This is a result of the culture of overindulgence of the so called first son, only son whatever , the so called heir of everything he has zero respect for his elder sisters.

Spoilt and over indulged brat, you father did well by trying to reset his brain with that slap, maybe it's even coming a bit late.

Your sister should stop giving him any cut of the money she sends. He's a man let him go and work but you guys seem soft and might pity him again

He burnt 70k he didn't work for? 70 thousand naira this December, 70 thousand that cab change the life of some people. Chai oooo your sister should ensure her 1naira doesn't get into his hand at least for the next 5 years.

Lool good thing you didn't open a thread on NL to table the matter. The red pillers gang would have had a field day, romance section boys would have finished your wife with their Chochocho and you too would have misbehaved.

If she had even told you he was a customers hubsband would you have believed.

Even as you have confirmed the main thing you can still see some of them flocking around to convince you otherwise.

Spherical77:
What gave you the impression that the person you mentioned is not Yoruba? If you go through the thread you would understand that he's also a Yoruba guy who speaks nothing but the truth. There are other tribes on this platform who had been helped by their fellow tribes men/women yet they never go round the platform speaking their native language eulogizing them.
So because one yoruba person is going around eulogizing a giver it means all Yoruba people who have received help on this thread and the others go about eulogizing them.

How many other Yoruba people have you seen eulogizing their Yoruba givers, at least I know snowland and money121 are yoruba and they have also helped some yoruba people and I have not seen any other one eulogizing them or other givers for that matter.

Address issues personally without giving ethnic coloration to it.

You said it's the guy spoke truth and you are wrong, him being Yoruba doesn't make him right.
