lexini: baba, honestly eh, that volvo xc60 has been on my mind for a long time now but i no get the mind. my friend is on his third xc90 and has sworn that he will never drive another brand
really, how is the xc60, 2010 model in terms of availability and cost of parts, reliability (especially for long distance travels), durability and everyday driving Shares part with 07 freelander, s60, s80,xc70, v70 etc. Some parts may be hard to get locally. But volvo is a fairly good buy |

lexini: thanks Nurey, as always
my concern is that, my wife has an es 350 right now and i feel if i get the rx, i'd eventually get bored of the brand - as per driving same brand everyday. the mdx is the only vehicle that comes close in terms of size and luxury - that's why i'm considering it.
i don't want to depart from toyota/honda My brother infiniti fx dey, volvo xc60 dey, nissan qashqi, MKX dey too |

Nerdray: Nurey please help out here The avalon to me is a car you should be driven in not a car u should be driving. But in all the avalon and es350 share engine and transmission in terms of part cost i believe d es is a bit cheaper considering it shares part with camry. The Is250 engine is 100k cheapest among all but shares part with GS which part is expensive than es. As for the pontiac you are on your own |

lexini: Thanks Nurey
Will your choice change if it's a 2009 rx350? Sometimes what others think doesnt matter pick the one your mind really admires, maintenance is key to enjoying either of them. My choice would change if the mdx is cheaper to acquire and i have a large family as the mdx allows 7seating |

lexini: Nurey, which would you pick and why? I would pick the Rx350 over mdx
1. Higher in the reliability chart than any cuv
2. Exterior design i prefer the rx here
3. Fuel economy the rx tops
4. Ease of use and maintenance rx tops |

Car Talk › Re: Relationship Between RPM And Fuel Consumption by nurey(m): 7:22am On Apr 05, 2020 |
ping2ping: Please can explain more the bolded part of the sentence? Depends on the engine simply means a V8 can do 120km/h at 1500rpm, a V6 can do 120km/h at 2500rpm and a I4 would do 120km/h at 4000rpm also depends on the engine volume but I have cars with the 3 engines and I know there capability Powerband is the energy output (torque) dished out by an engine in conjunction with the gear eg a corolla with 1.6L engine would have a different power band at gear 2 to a 1.8L engine corolla of same year. Please this are just layman's definition not a professor of physics or a gurus definition if I am wrong please endeavor to correct me and move on I don't want trouble this week. |

David Beckham curve. That is a U curved road no vehicle can take that at even 50km/h without losing control. Bends are supposed to be more gentle than your picture in page 4 |

foolbuster: Nurey leave talk abeg. Even Schumacher and co must match brake when they are approaching a bend at 120km in a factory default Lincoln navigator. Seems you don't know what a bend is, it will do you good to know the meaning and application before you try to prove an individual wrong. You can't differentiate a curved road, a bend in a road, a corner road and you call yourself a driver with a driving license |
Car Talk › Re: Negotiating Bends At High Speed by nurey(m): 3:22pm On Apr 04, 2020 |
foolbuster: Kids reading this now will go and carry navigator and attempt to negotiate a bend at 120km/hr and nurey you think say you go make heaven There are bends in road There are curved roads There are corners in road There are winding roads which are bends in S shape example of such roads is lagos Abeokuta express. Curved road is dangerous and I can't navigate it at high speed whether with suv or sedan such is the okenne bypass when heading to the north. Drive responsibly and respect other road users. |

komekn: The Navigator is essentially a Ford Expedition with upgrades.
The air suspension is not like the Cayenne and or the Range Rover. It's not set up for performance driving on tarmac.
Not sure which year model you are talking about but it's still a truck. Anybody driving that briskly through corners, has a "DEATH WISH" I still did though 120km isn't a very fast speed for a 32intech V8. The vehicle is heavy too so it can take bends and corners at that speed easily but not sharp ones. |

KINGreignn: Hearsay. The hilux/hilux surf, Ford series have been, are and will continually be benchmarks for trucks in their respective regions. Nissan couldn't stand where they stood, it can't stand where they're standing and won't ever stand.
Go check the reviews and ask real life owners of these trucks. You like arguing Sha, the hilux wasn't available in 2X4 and the Ford is not as strong in engine and chassis as the kingcab. Those vehicles cannot do what the kingcab is Intended for the Ka, Na and VG of those Era were easy to rebuild without hiccups and the rear axle modified fit easily into the kingcab. Its not only about reliability it is about taking the modification. When even you are in Southwest do Inspect the truck carrying charcoal, Garri, firewood to know what I am talking about. |

I later picked my car and packed it at home but the next after moving a short distance within my area, the car stopped and refused to start. I quickly call my Kazeem and we found that the brain box and connections terminals are already soaked with water as a result of washing the car interior with pressure washing machine. What is /are chances of reviving my Brain box and the cost of replacement.

Agriculture › Re: Please Help With Information On Cassava Processing? by nurey(m): 6:36am On Apr 01, 2020 |
Bonn01: please I want to know how many 50kg bags of garri can be produced from a tonne of cassava, how many 50kg bags of cassava flour (Lafun) can be produced from a tonne of cassava and approximately the weight of cassva stacked into 50kg bag? Thanks in advance In real life scenario 2tons of cassava should produce 1ton of garri (1000kg) but not always right, it could be more it could be less due to factors you have control over. 1. Cassava variety 2. Grinding 3. Frying During the raining season you won't get 1 ton of garri from 2tons cassava because there would be more water than Starch. For the lafun I can't specify because major processing done in my side is flakes they don't mill it to flour. But if you can get the expected dry weight of cassava (should be available online from project works) you will have the lafun tonnage Weight stacked in bags is not uniform but the paint rubber is 2.5kg to 2.7kg depending on the size but a standard 50kg flour bag filled to the brim is more than 50kg |
