MEGA4BILLION:I’m not sure of this sir. Banks are more comfortable and make more money from POS than from ATM. The workload inside the bank and at the ATM is slashed by over 50% for the bank. These banks have committees to encourage pos operators. They give them targets, then commission and awards. I know of this. In fact, I think it’s the CBN that forces banks to maintain a certain number of ATM. What the CBN is saying is that to be a pos operator, get a shop with a verified address so you and your customers will be well monitored. A lot has been happening in this pos business these days. |
JudasNaKarrot:Let me tell you guys this for free. As much as I think that the CBN governor is shady, don’t ever think that the man just woke one morning and started reeling out all these policies. Even when he bought presidential form to contest, it still wasn’t his idea. All these CBN policies are solely buhari and the cabal’s ideas. And if you know buhari well, he hardly backs down on this kind of action. And that’s why I laugh so hard anytime I see his fellow party men accusing Emefele of fighting them by trying to use these new CBN policies instead of buhari. Intel from the presidency has it that over a trillion naira has been stashed by governors alone. Buhari wants to neutralize those monies. He did it in the 80s as a military head of state. Buhari wants to deal with some Nigerian politicians irrespective of party affiliation before he leaves. Emefiele is just a pawn. As for soludo and the governors, they can hardly spoil anything as they don’t have enough time to fight back with their selfish governor’s forum. Most of them will turn beggars in the street if buhari succeeds with this policy. |
Nigerian politicians must stop this primordial politicking. His right should be accorded to him as soon as possible. |
Nobody should fall for any trap from either Adeyanju or Brymo. People should not allow charlatans to define who they are. Whether they seem to be defending or opposing such group of people. Paying attention to these guys give them more power they don’t deserve. Matter of fact, I blame Igbo people for always responding to irrelevant people. |
I didn’t see the election holding. This is why I’m not too interested in 2023 election. It’s a waste of money and energy for participants. However, if it comes, I will perform my civic duty by voting rightly. I saw a pastor as an interim president for a short while. Maybe Tunde Bakare. |
I also saw a new Nigeria. I also didn’t see an election holding. This is why I’m not too interested in 2023 election. It’s a waste of money and energy for participants. However, if it comes, I will perform my civic duty by voting rightly. I saw a pastor as an interim president for a short while. Maybe Tunde Bakare. God is about shaking Nigeria to her roots. This shaking will disperse the corrupt politicians and enthrone another just system. The world will be amazed and will come to Nigeria to learn how we rebuilt it so fast and efficiently. But they won’t know that it was GOD that propelled it. |
Ofodirinwa:I’ve heard this line several times but I’m surprised at the ignorance of people who make such statements. Non northern Muslims would have been wiped out in less than 2 days after Biafra is declared. Is it not easy to understand why those guys also don’t want Biafra and like Gowon, are ready to fight it? Look at the way they are being massacred while in Nigeria. Then imagine what will be of them if Biafra goes. Elimination! Not everyone hate you. After all, they are some of the biggest supporters of Obi’s presidency. And they are unapologetic about it. To the non northern Muslims, their decisions has always been based on survival. Support or just free them abeg! |
Like someone said, there will be corruption in the process but the money quoted is not totally out of place. With the non compliance of cashless policies and the dirty culture of the ways we handle and treat money, I expected the budget for maintenance to be above 1 trillion naira. |
Whoever or whatever is wrong,.. Whether for ulterior motives or for the right reasons…. The president must not be held responsible for any mess in any sector…including the petroleum ministry that he is heading. Dude is a very lucky man. |
Neddstark:There was no breach of trust and love between Yul and may. Only for may to find out that she not only has a stepson but also a co-wife from the same man she supposedly sleeps with in the same bed for over 15years. That right there is heartbreaking especially when Yul was being arrogant about it. May will need all the time to heal and decide her next line of action. It’s insensitive to give her ultimatum to be a co-wife or not to be. Besides, from the apology letter, it’s looking like there’s trouble in paradise with the new wife. As for Paul Okoye’s marriage, seems the love wasn’t there for the most part of the marriage. Heck when he messed up, he never bordered to apologize. He ran away so fast and never looked back. And Anita too no send. Look, nobody is perfect. But we must learn to take responsibility as at when due. Nobody gave these guys ultimatum before their actions. Nobody should also give the victims ultimatum to accept what they never signed up for. |
sweetTai:Not sure. She was madly in love with one super eagles player but before she knew it, dude ran off to the altar with another girl. She will be fine. Only that finding true love with her status at the moment will be a miracle. |
Osun borrowed about 400B in 12years. Most, if not all the 400B was borrowed by Aregbesola. But in all these, I rather apportion more of the mess to Oyetola for shielding Aregbe for 4 years. All Nigerian politicians are like this. Because of ulterior motives, they make the state account books a secret document. They shield their predecessors from EFCC so that their successors will also shield them after their looted tenure. Adeleke is trying to do same now. He is trying to sheild Aregbe because they are now “friends”. Why trying to indict only Oyetola when you know Aregbe is the main culprit here? Nigeria can’t go anywhere with this pattern. |
I’m yet to see the original sef, not to talk of the fakes. |
Franzinni:Which youth sir? The ones doing yahoo yahoo? Haba |
If Nigerian politicians can use the line of “stopping subsidy on petrol” to campaign, then anything is possible in this life. There was a time that phrase could get you expelled from Nigeria kpata kpata. |
This idiot that nearly killed his fellow lawmakers with mace. For the fact that this guy wasn’t sentenced to nothing less than 10 years in prison shows that Nigeria have a long way to go.

Angel55555:Land mass: Too large or too small? We’ve had countries with bigger and smaller landmass than Qatar host World Cup. Population size: Most tickets for marches are sold out. Or does the so called population has any other thing to do aside filling up stadia for FIFA? Religion: Are you saying only Christian countries or Suni Muslim countries are supposed to be hosting such events? Or has Qatar threatened a forced religious conversion? Look, there are loads of sponsored propaganda from Sunni Muslim countries and some western countries like USA against Shia Qatar over the years because of their religious and political differences and this was a perfect opportunity to unleash more propaganda against Qatar. The only argument that come close to why Qatar shouldn’t host the World Cup how is they seemingly “enslaved” expatriates from third world countries to build projects for the festival. But if you don’t like the labor laws, why continue staying? That being said, Qatar and other Arab countries must go out of their way to improve their labor laws. On the other hand, the laborers should take some breaks from moving to such countries. You are feeding their unfriendly labor laws and yet turn around to complain. Please be aware that I’m not a fan of Qatar foreign policy. |
Angel55555:Maybe I’m missing an important information in this whole Hosting discourse. Are you guys saying only Europe and the Americas should be hosting the World Cup? What is actually wrong with beautiful Qatar with magnificent stadia and hospitality in hosting the World Cup? One thing is sure to come out of Qatar 2022; interesting new talents. But as for the fight and propaganda against Qatar hosting, I await to be schooled on why FIFA made a wrong choice? |
Anybody who’s not ready to work with his life as a president come 2023 should quit now!!! We will always remind ourselves of the past leadership failures but the bulk of the blame will always be on who is currently on the seat of power. We don’t care whether his/her predecessor damaged the whole system or not. |
chigoziri2403:To take advantage of him. Though she doesn’t want him to take advantage of her. Op, If you wan epp person, just help. It mustn’t be always appreciated. SMH |
affable4:Lol |
yinkus6750:All the 4 girls there have undoubtedly paid their dues. Two in entertainment, the other 2 in local and international administration. Well deserved. |
MadeInTokyo:The suspension has nothing to do with cheating. Company policy stipulates that they must not sleep with coworkers to avoid see finish, partiality and insubordination. And these guys take their laws seriously. No be Naija where manager go nack from secretary to cleaner and them go dey hail am for office. |
Just like Kwankwaso, Wike cannot afford to support any other party or presidential candidate except PDP and Atiku. Wike has his men as PDP candidates in all the elective positions except the presidential candidate. He cannot afford to abandon them now just so he will be given ApC senatorial ticket. Exactly the reason the merger couldn’t work with Kwankwaso and OBI. It’s a political suicide mission. |
Stop this nonsense abeg. Stop taking the bait of replying insult thrown at OBI with a counter insult. |
Lewisjohnson:Not very true. The easiest way to die in America is to become a gang banger or a drug dealer. Unfortunately, most American rappers are or at least were neck deep into gang ‼️ and drug dealing. |
Very commendable project. I thought AkwaIbom was working on such project some months back? Other state governments should follow up please. |

Even the Holy Bible says that “faith without work is dead”. The Bible also asked “shall we abide in sin while His grace abounds?” Do the maths as regards to the Blackman and worship of God. |
See dull Nigerians claiming principles they hardly practice. This is not an Obi or Reno’s invented principle. It’s as old as the world itself. All the OECD countries you know used these principles to develop rapidly. The Americans used Magna Carta. The Asians used Neo Confucianism. The Europeans used Protestant work ethics. The Scandinavians used the law of Jante. All these laws are all the same. It’s about frugality, honesty, punishment, reward, equal justice, respect for law, production and less consumption. In fact, Lee Kuan Yew made those principles popular and used it to develop Singapore right before us. It’s well documented in his autobiography “From third world to first”. With these principles, Nigeria even with a dull guy as the president can become an OECD in less than 20years only if the dull guy has the “POLITICAL WILL” to effect these principles. |
Maybe it’s me. Maybe it’s because I was a part time architect. And so I seem to have high standards in structural designs. Maybe because in Asia, I’ve seen people transform forests into concrete jungle like New York in a few years. Otherwise, even with all the money pumped int Abuja, some of the pictures here look like clean Lagos in the 70s. |
