If it's a personal opinion, she should learn to keep it personal. Nobody asked for it.
Who is nobody? and who told you nobody asked her for it?

Millions of people ask and literally beg her for it everyday; she's got millions of followers on social media who literally follow her because they expect her to say things like that everyday. Besides, she isn't the one who even shared her opinion on Nairaland and on other blogs; she states her opinion in the comfort of her house and people go around sharing it.

Finally and most importantly, it wasn't mandatory that we clicked on this thread to watch her video of her sharing her opinion. There're plenty other threads to visit on this forum, but you and I chose to open her thread (meaning that we were also begging to hear her opinion). Live and let live!

Oga the real idiot in all these is the person who myopically celebrates covid19 in Nigeria because it affected 1 or 2 politicians. What you do not realise is that out of the about 40 cases of covid19 in Nigeria, over 30 of those are probably ordinary innocent poor Nigerian masses, and many more (tens of thousands probably) may still get affected. If you think pointing out this fact to you makes me an idiot, then your idiocy truly knows no bounds.

caprini1:
I dont have any atom of sympathy for any politician that gets infected, but i beg all citizens to keep top notch hygiene ,social distancing and if possible ,stay at home. But for Politicians ,may they suffer this plague alone by Gods grace....can you imagine? only two working ventilators at Gwagwalada and one was taken to Aso villa?
Of course there's no sympathy for useless politicians who may get infected, but it's important we mind what we celebrate. Cos for every one politician affected, there will probably be 1000 innocent citizens falling victim.

Again I say keep quiet there, when you guys come online, you start forming what you are not. I doubt if you have eaten any balance diet today and you are using that stolen phone to talk about poverty mentality. Chinese (poor and rich) fought the virus together and they all empathize with those that were affected cos they have sane leaders who ensure that every citizen get the best of healthcare, education and other basic amenities unlike here where the privileged elites keep embezzling public fund and run abroad to invest while the masses die from ordinary malaria in numbers, insecurity and lack of basic amenities. See en, don't provoke me this evening cos you wanna sound different oo huh
Oga, stop letting the frustration of Nigeria pollute your reasoning. Corona virus doesnt differentiate rich from poor, or bad leader from innocent masses. Besides, of the over 40 confirmed cases of covid19 in Nigeria, I'm sure over 30 of those are ordinary masses like you and I. So stop cheering for corona because you think one or 2 big men have been affected. and you may do yourself well if you quit all these your pointless wailing about bad leaders, corona isnt politics.

Keep quite there, God will never allow what the elites brought here to reach us. We wouldn't be saying all these negative stuffs about them if they have been oppressing the masses and looting our national treasury for their own selfish use. Who are you? huh
Okay my apologies.... You're free to keep praying for a plague in your country because your poverty metality ignorantly tells you it will only affect the rich elite.

Maybe God must be very angry with the poor in Wuhan China and northern Italy, that must explain why the plague couldn't differentiate rich from poor in those places.

I call this Revolution led by Coronavirus. Since we the citizens can't storm the streets to revolt, a Chinese Virus is helping us out. No ordinary Nigerian will be a victim of the revolution.
You and many others call this a revolution against bad rulers and oppressors, many also appear to be excited with these developments. But what assurances do you have that the viciously spreading virus wouldn't also annihilate the poor and mid-class masses too? We need to be careful of what evils we celebrate.

This is getting out of hand

Coronavirus in Nigeria is a disaster. This is because there is no country in the world as careless as Nigeria. There is also no country in the world with a president with a never-seen-before non-challance like Nigeria
I guess countries like China, Italy, the UK, the USA, Australia, Germany and the over 100 countries in the world where covid-19 is hitting much harder than Nigeria, those countries must be much much more careless than Nigeria (according to your wisdom), and their presidents must also be extremely nonchalant?

You don't need to breakup with her for you to stay focus all you have to do is to talk to her about your priorities and tell how difficult and hard it's gonna be for you, she won't be getting any of your attention as she use to cuz you need to set your life straight... if she loves you enough she will stick around and support you....
The truth is that the Op doesnt really like the girl. The whole talk of "not being ready to commit to a serious relationship" is just an excuse men give to avoid commitment to a partner they dont really like.

The only leader in the world that has refused to address his people on COVID 19 is Buhari. Why is this so? Does he have a covenant with death? Is he happy about the loss of life? Does he consider them to be sacrifices? His behaviour is inexplicable, sinister, macabre & abnormal.
No doubt a president should address his people at a time like this but how exactly does buhari failing to do that cause anyone to die?

Funny how this statement is even coming from the same man FFK who just last week, publicly declared there was no corona virus in Nigeria, but that it was a scam and lie by APC govt to steal money. A week later he's now dying to hear Buhari's voice.

Isn't it ironic how those who terribly hate buhari are the ones who desperately want to hear his voice believing it can save their lives? It appears FFK is just eager to hear Buhari's voice so he can hold onto something new to attack.

Someone should hold that man before he runs amok into the market place.

My thoughts exactly... I'm pretty sure Chinese govt considered all factors before deciding to grant the loan, so what exactly is d new information that the elites gave them that made them do a volte facehuh More likely, to me, is dt d advent of coronavirus destabilized them n is d main reason. .. .of course, that's if China actually pulled out
It's very obvious to anyone that thinks. IF the loan is being cancelled because China has refused to give money, it's clearly because of the pandemic. The entire Europe is currently on a lockdown with businesses and offices being shutdown, the US is on lockdown, China is crawling, flights are grounded all over the place and airline businesses are suffocating. The UK just yesterday announced a £330 billion stimulus package to help businesses that are being crippled by the current shutdown; and then some persons actually think the reason China would hold back on giving out a $17 billion loan at a time like this is because of a letter it received from a faceless group?

The current low oil price presents a fantastic opportunity for the govt to do away with the subsidy regime for good. But instead, they choose to still modulate / control and peg the price. What then happens when oil price rises again?
PoliticsRe: Buhari Reduces Price Of Petrol To N125 Per Litre by obailala(m): 9:00pm On Mar 18, 2020
jamata20:
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the reduction of the pump price of petrol to N125 per litre.

Buhari was said to have approved the price reduction after the Minister of State, Petroleum Resources, Mr Timipre Sylva, briefed him on the the current crash in the global price of crude oil.

Confirming the development, Special Assistant to the President on New Media , Tolu Ogunlesi on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, said the price reduction takes effect immediately.

He said, “PMB has graciously approved that pump price of petrol should drop. Will be N125 per liter henceforth, at this time. NEW Price modulation mechanism will allow petrol price to drop or rise in line with the changes in crude oil prices. Effective immediately”.
PoliticsRe: BREAKING: FG Reduces Price Of Petrol To N125 Per Litre by obailala(m): 5:46pm On Mar 18, 2020
BAAKUS1447:
The Federal Government has approved the reduction of the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS).

While there are reports that the PMS price was reduced from N145 per litre to about N130, the statement from the ministry of petroleum resources did not state categorically what the new price of petrol will be.

In his communique on Wednesday, Mr Timipre Sylva, the minister of state for petroleum resources stated that the drop in crude oil prices has lowered the expected open market price of imported petrol below the official pump price of N145 per litre.

Heb further revealed that in line with the current market realities, President Buhari has directed that Nigerians should benefit from the reduction in the price of the PMS.

The minister’s statement read:

REDUCTION IN PRICE OF PETROLEUM MOTOR SPIRIT (PMS)

The drop in crude oil prices has lowered the expected open price of imported petrol below the official pump price of N145 per litre.

Therefore, Mr President has approved that Nigerians should benefit from the reduction in the price of PMS which is a direct effect of the crash in global crude oil prices.

In view of this situation, based on the price modulation template approved in 2015, the Federal Government is directing the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) to reduce the ex-coastal and ex-depot prices of PMS to reflect current market realities.

Also, the PPPRA shall subsequently issue a monthly guide to NNPC and marketers on the appropriate pricing regime.

The agency is further directed to modulate pricing in accordance with prevailing market dynamics and respond appropriately to any further oil market development.

It is believed that this measure will have a salutary effect on the economy, provide relief to Nigerians and will provide a framework for sustainable supply of PMS to our country.

The Ministry of Petroleum Resources will continue to encourage the use of compressed natural gas to complement PMS utilization as a transport fuel.

Mr Sylva had last week said the government was in consultation with relevant stakeholders on the possibility of reducing the price following the crash in crude oil prices in the international market.

Following the outbreak of the coronavirus, the prices of crude oil globally have witnessed sharp deeps.

Brent Crude has been sold for $35.44 per barrel while Bonny Light has been sold at $33.63 dollars per barrel, these values are way below the $57 per barrel benchmark for the 2020 budget.
Another pointless political blunder.
