Why exactly do PDP supporters hate Oshiomole so much? |
junketer:When we make statements like the above, whether we agree to it openly or not, the fact is that we're silently praying for our words to be fulfilled. Just imagine the evil prayers of a human being all because of hatred for the president. These your words are obviously your prayers for the airport (that the project should be abandoned) so you can gladly come back to Nairaland and say "I said it". God pass una; the airport will be completed before Easter. |
We just love to bother ourselves with nonsense issues in Nigeria; I guess its largely due to boredom or joblessness. Whether corona is real or fake in Nigeria, if it's so important for anyone to verify, they can as well invade the infectious disease quarantine centre. |
Everything in Nigeria these days must have a conspiracy theory. |
Omo this one get as e be oo.... 2 million in dollars? |
She's even married to a Cross Rivers person. Africans and this our ethnic dumbness. After we go to other nations and call it racism when we're denied certain rights. |
topboss:So if Uzodimma builds solid infrastructure in the state, the game plan of PDP minions is to come in future and start demolishing even meaningful structures to spite APC?.... What a classic case of IBERIBERISM!!! A clear reason why PDP may never smell that seat. Ndi ara ndi ara! |
hammerU:Haba... What manner of violent wailing and xenophobia is this? By the way, Imo state has always had a mosque with a chief imam in Owerri (shell camp area) probably before you were even born, but just now just now you've ascribed it to Uzodimma who entered weeks ago? Interesting! And gain, who exactly are you to even chase non-Igbos away from Imo state? Imo state indigenes live in different parts of the country and your game plan is to chase non-Igbos away from Imo state because your party lost a litigation? Anyway, just to remind you by the way (cos you've repeatedly been saying "two years!! two years!!" all over this thread), Uzodimma's tenure officially started last month so I think you should be saying "in four (4) years"; you should prepare your mind to see his rounded yellow face for a minimum of 4 years.... Your darling PDP may even go extinct before then. |
peeddy:What is the business of presidency in this? |
I smell a rerun... |
seguno2:So in essence, you now agree with my original submission that N100bn cannot turn a local government in Nigeria to dubai? You now agree it can only do a fraction?... So what exactly are you still arguing about? Did anybody here tell you N100bn cannot do anything? ![]() |
Theres nothing wrong with implementing RUGA, as long as it's done only in willing states.. Anything to get the marauding herdsmen off the streets is welcome. Regarding regional security, the fg has no authority to stop states from implementing state security outfits... even they speak the legal english and say it's illegal for it to be regional, then states can still go ahead and implement state outfits which will cooperate with neighbouring states. |
seguno2:Lol... Both our minds apparently operate on different levels, so what you may adjudge to be 'adequate development' is obviously different from what I take it to be. In terms of development, N100bn cannot upgrade the most developed LGA in Nigeria to the most basic standard of a Local council in the UK. We talking of standard roads, street lighting, electricity, pipe borne water to all homes, environmental sanitation, health facilities (including standby emergency services), a functional fire department, security infrastructure, standard schools, residential housing etc. Take a trip outside Nigeria and go take a look at what real development truly means. Building a single lane road without street lighting, road markings or proper underground drainage, or building classroom block without water supply, electricity or toilet facilities isn't adequate development, that's pathetic mediocrity. |
seguno2:...yes but your question was totally off point. Do you mind explaining what the relevance of my LGA chairman is to the topic? Or is that too much for you? |
Chijeep:and if you dont have kobo but need to eat what happens? You steal the food? |
Chijeep:What do you mean by "make we no talk about 70b"... Where did that come from and what's it's relevance?.... You walk into a buka to buy food of N1000 and you have only N70. Since you say it's silly to borrow money to complete the funds, please tell us how you expect to buy that meal?.... Na everything person must explain for una like children sef? *spits* |
Seunpaul01: Chijeep:Nobody said N70bn is small money or that it cannot solve a problem. But can N70bn solve a problem that requires trillions?... The reason I made my earlier comment was because several persons kept asking why Nigeria still needs to borrow even after recovering N70bn. Is N70bn now equivalent to a trillion? Is this now what they teach in Nigerian schools? A problem requires trillions to solve. Someone brings N70bn, and you're here asking why money still has to be borrowed? If you still can't see the flaw in your logic, then it's a shame. |
Bizibi:The railway between abuja and kaduna alone cost over $800million (a loan from China); the one from Lagos to Ibadan alone cost over $1billion. Despite the fact that we have a major greed and bad governance problem in Nigeria, N70bn cannot scratch the surface in solving Nigeria's infrastructure needs. |
Chijeep:Like I said before, my comment had nothing to do with support of any govt, but unfortunately, many minds have been reduced to only see and interpret things politically, albeit in some of the most pathetic ways. The point I made was simple for any sound person to comprehend (even children); N70bn isnt enough to solve the a tiny fraction of Nigeria's infrastructural problems (you dont need to be apc or pdp or even political to comprehend this common sense statement). The railway between abuja and kaduna alone cost over $800million (a loan from China); the one from Lagos to Ibadan alone cost over $1billion. So please tell me, what exactlt is the wisdom in expecting N70bn recovered by efcc to cover the financing of those projects?... How exactly does someone pointing this common sense issue out to you mean the person is supporting bad govt? Oga, not everything in Nigeria must be politics. And please leave my neice out of it. |
Euegene100001: Euegene100001:From your previous comment, your intellectual level was already obvious. But I gave you the benefit of a doubt by providing a simple explanation. With your subsequent responses, every doubt is cleared. |
gawu1:Oga you too, this really has nothing to do with politics of A vs B. N70bn cannot solve the infrastuctural deficit of even a local govt in Nigeria today. So why would any sound adult keep asking why arecovered N70bn cannot end borrowing in Nigeria?.... |
Euegene100001:Oga this isn't about buhari or gej or abacha or anyone; this also has nothing to even do with politics. Rather it's about a daily erosion of common sense which is fast becoming a scary norm amongst Nigeria today. EFCC says they recovered N70bn + $15m etc, total amount recovered isn't even up to N100bn. A single 1000mw power plant goes on the minimum between $1bn to $1.5bn. A basic standard railway from PH to Enugu will cost well over a billion dollars, yet you expect N70bn recovered by EFCC to solve all of Nigeria's problems and end borrowing? Being critical of govt mustn't necessarily entail flinging common sense and basic intelligence to the gutters; and reminding you of the shameful flaws in your logic does not mean I'm supporting any leader. Thank you! |
seguno2:...and the relevance of your question is?? |
olayiwola4u: Primusinterpares: Seunpaul01: Chijeep: Euegene100001:When I see people ask this question all the time, I cant help but wonder if it's out of deliberate mischievousness or probably just failure of common sense. Cos even my 8 year old neice is knowledgeable enough to know that the N70-N100bn recovered (which is probably still tied down under litigation and therefore cannot be touched) cannot solve the problem of a even single local government in Nigeria, let alone a state or the entire country. |
Didnt they pass the anti grazing law? Who is the govt of Benue waiting for to enforce their own law? Why exactly are state governors so useless in this country? |
Okeytus:Just when you think the dumbness would end with the OP who was probably either drunk or just an illiterate (forgivable), someone else comes to reinforce the senseless outburst. First and foremost, I do not know the tribe of the OP, I never mentioned nor referred to any tribe, and in anticipation of ignorant comments like yours, I ensured I gave my example using Enugu and Oyo states (I probably should have also mentioned Kano state to complete the tripod). So for the love of God, how on earth did you still interpret that comment to be hate against a tribe (of which I'm also even a part of)? ![]() Like they say, "those who kill by the sword will die by the sword". You just exposed yourself as a feeble minded, shameless tribalist with your opening statement; that explains why in your paranoia, without even assimilating what I wrote, you ignorantly assumed I also swim in the same shameless cesspit (no apologies for my hard words). Now let's get back to the topic; what the OP has said is dumb, and you just re-echoed it. Anybody from any part of the world has a right to build, own and operate a petrol station, refinery, food manufacturing business etc. as long as they get the required licenses. You cant say a man from Bayelsa state shouldn't own a tomato paste production plant because the raw material (fresh tomatoes) he needs will be coming from a farm in Kano (he will buy the tomato from wherever he can). Likewise, you cant say a businessman from Sokoto has no right to own a palm oil processing plant because palm trees dont grow in his state (he will buy the palm fruits from wherever he can). Finally, you cant say a businessman from Kano has no right to own a refinery because crude isn't drilled in his state (he will buy the crude from wherever he can, he would NOT get the raw material for free). The reason Nigeria remains a shithole is because we have so many people (both educated and uneducated) wielding your repulsive hate mentality all over the place. Recently someone (with your kind of mentality) said they will blow up the Dangote refinery cos an Hausa man shouldn't be owning a refinery when oil isnt in the north. Nothing could be more bizarre than for someone with your brand of hateful ignorant reasoning now being the one accusing me of hate. Enough said! |
Lol.. see reasoning!... So in essence, a businessman from Enugu state or Oyo has no right to own a petrol station, just as Dangote has no right to own a refinery, because their states dont have oil? ...and if you check very well, the OP who wrote this may even be a degree holder. No wonder they say common sense isnt common. |
Sometimes I wonder why governors in the south are too scared to make statements like this or to take a stand. Kudos to Okowa for taking a stand and speaking out! |
tsephanyah:This story is the lamest attempt at face saving by the DSS, this has to be the dumbest ever. Even Hanan has denied it flat with her current confession that she had nothing to do with the man's arrest. Any person with common sense would know that if the man was truly a scammer like the DSS foolishly claims, he wouldn't be taking the dss and Hanan to court now. This is just another classic case of overzealous security personnel trying to please oga by doing what no one sent them to do. |
content208:Yeah but untill then, its only an assumption. |
Lewisalexander:Buhari na your father.. You know how I know? Cos una two get the same level of reasoning. |
