Y'all people that are saying it was the lie against Gej that made Sanusi face this are all fools.

Are our politicians and leaders not cheating us? Are they not lying against us? Why the karma never visit them? The worst part is, they even last many years compare to an average Nigerian. E.g Babangida, Gowown, Obj and co.
Those claiming that SLS was dethroned by God for fighting GEJ, if this silly theory is anything to go by, then what it actually means is that the disgraceful dethronement of GEJ was clearly his own punishment for failing Nigerians.
PoliticsRe: Aminu Ado Bayero Biography: Emir Of Kano's Profile by obailala(m):
Awol1:
Sanusi lied against GEJ and he knows it.

He claimed 20billion dollars was missing from wherever. Which was a lie.

From what account did such amount miss?

How much is the total worth of Nigeria, that 20 billions will be looted and we are still standing?

It was all propaganda. But Sanusi bought into it and helped bastardisze GEJ's name in the international community.

I'm not totally exonerating GEJ of every ills he's been accused of, but the lies in them outweigh the truth.

GEJ is a child of destiny and mystery.

From nowhere, he became everything.

Now every hand that fought him has taken its bitter repayment one way or the order.

And more will still fall.

Don't ever join to prosecute the innocent because you feel no one will fight for him.

Sorry, not sorry for Sanusi!.
All these Jonathanians should just let us rest with this perpetual wailing. Jonathan himself basterdised his name, not anyone else. Sanusi as the CBN governor and chief banker of the federation was kept out of the loop on how accrued oil revenue was handled. He asked for clarification several times and was shut out by the cabal surrounding GEJ. That's exactly what happened before he raised an alarm on an 'unaccounted for $20bn'. SLS never said the money was stolen, he simply said it was unaccounted for, and it's a pity if any adult still cannot comprehend the difference.

After all the noise and scandal, the cabal finally let go and an audit was done in which 'most' of the runds were eventually accounted for.

When SLS asked for an account, if he got a response from the govt, there would never have been any scandal. It's all common sense. Even following the public declarations (of missing $20bn), all that was expected of a reasonable govt and president was to simply say "he will investigate" and that simple statement could have killed the scandal. But instead, GEJ and his handlers and supporters began running around aimlessly calling it political witch-hunt and accusation (unfortunately they're still calling it same till today). Next move of GEJ in the full glare of the world was to order the sack of a CBN governor at such a sensitive time over a sensitive question that should have been handled with wisdom..

I put it to you once again, GEJ out of some pointless paranoia, basterdised his name himself.

Lest I forget, for those claiming that SLS was dethroned by God for fighting GEJ, if this silly theory is anything to go by, then what it actually means is that the disgraceful dethronement of GEJ was his own punishment for failing Nigerians.

The Nigeria politicians should be the worse hit because that is their looting money. Other Nigerians only read crude oil funds on papers
Politicians who already have enough funds to feed their 3rd generations are the ones you think would be affected most by oil price? When govt revenue drops and teachers in even primary schools can't be paid salaries, I guess it's the politicians that would suffer it.

Well, we were talking about what's obtainable abroad. The dude made a paedophilic statement and got arrested by Nigerian police, the OP of this thread claimed he was arrested only because Nigeria is a lawless society (since the guy had not broken any laws). I made a comment that in developed 'lawful' societies, a person who makes such statements online would also be picked up by the authorities, investigated, and placed on a sexual predators watch-list. In functional societies, they do not wait for the crime/damage to be done before they spring to action.

Check out some of the people Buharis government is victimizing, one way or the other, they are called for good positions overseas. See Jona, See Okonjo Iweala, Very soon e go shock una, Sanusi will be given international appointments and he would laugh best ... as I see him laughing last already.

Time to get my passport once again and fine another country to go to. Fulani, Gandollars and their smelling politics has messed up my nation. Sometimes, regret being a nigerian is the only and only option that comes to mind.... I wish it was not so. Nigeria is the most corrupt nation in the world as it stands!
The way in which some people ascribe any and everything to Buhari can be really funny. What's the business of buhati in this matter and how did you arrive at this conclusion that buhati is victimising SLS?

Even Sanusi knows he is evil. The thousands of bankers who lost their jobs when Sanusi Lamido forcefully took over healthy banks will not rest until Sanusi goes six feet under the soil. He is now stripped nakked and on the ground, but he is going six feet under to meet his father Lucifer.
What kind of bizarre reasoning is this? How can healthy banks be taken over in the full glare of everyone?

I never mentioned op as paedophile rather you did. I didn't even mentioned abroad because their laws and ours are not the same. The accused as buttressed by op isn't a paedophile rather he was just joking. I read the content of his statement to relate to a normal way Nigerians joke with things but Daddy freeze mis interpreted that man's statement. I thought he is a preacher of the gospel, why can't he ignore like the way Adeboye and others do? It was easier for him to arrest that man because he was powerful but let same scenario happen to a preacher then watch his response.
See me see wahala oo! Please where did i mention here that the op of this thread is a paedophile?

Anyway you claimed the guy who made the lewd statement about daddy freeze's son was probably joking. Maybe you should try that same 'joke' abroad and tell us whether your life will remain the same.

That guy is not a paedophile are presumed by you or others. He only expressed his view by making fun out of the statement and picture Daddy freeze presented. A real paedophile don't post such comments on the media especially on public forum. What freeze should have done was to block that dude or report to the handler of the social media instead of involving the police. Freeze mess up, a suppose preacher who profess Christ and critics of preachers who condemns similar thing he just did. If Adeboye did this, he would be first to criticize him. I want to believe God decided to test him to see how he would tackle this issue
I never said the OP was a paedophile. But you too, since you believe there's nothing incriminating about making such statements online, since you believe the guy was arrested only because daddy freeze (a big man was involved), then next time you find yourself abroad, feel free to make such lewd statements about kids on social media and tell us how you fare.

Oga no one in this entire thread has said you will be given jail time for making sexual comments so I'm not aware of the relevance of this your question....

But when you make such leed statements about a child, you will be arrested, thoroughly questioned, your activities past and present will be investigated, and you will likely end up in the sexual offenders watchlist which means your activities will be monitored for the rest of your life and you will be losing your freedom to find work in many sensitive positions.

Goodluck as you go ahead to make such starements in the developed world believing there are no consequences because you havent committed the act yet.

You can also drop a link to any stories of people getting arrested for saying nonsense online. Why do think it took catholic church long time to start sacking priest that abused children? Even though it was happening but they took their time to do a proper investigation. Nigeria is not fully a lawless country but there's no law that says you will arrest people for saying nonsense. That's why many people was opposing the social media bill that the senators was typing to introduce. Imagine what a politician can do with that law if an original citizen can do what daddy freeze did

Okay sorry, Nigeria is a lawless place, and that's why the fellow was arrested simply on the orders of a 'big man'.

For people who didn’t follow the story, a man made a comment on Daddy freeze's page that his 5 years boy will be sweet in bed. He was tracked down and police arrested him from the report I saw on Daddy freeze page.

I believe that justice has been done by shaming the guy publicly and his job terminated but you can't lock him up until there's proof of a crime. Some people are calling the guy a paedophile and must be locked up for his comment. You can an intention of killing anyone and can say it but nobody has the right to lock up you up for expressing yourself. If this is a terrorist comment about killing people then the police can question the individual and find out if he is affiliated with any known terrorist organization and he will promptly be released if nothing is found.

Daddy freeze and police officers have broken the law here. Yes, the guy made a stupid comment but we do a law that arrests people for saying nonsense? In a country with law and order, daddy freeze and the police officers will be sued and the guy will cash out big time for an unlawful arrest. His company too will be liable if he is not paid fully before termination.

Let's all remember that you can't lock people up especially if they are poor. This is a standard Nigerian way of handling matter especially for people with money. Our prison is full of people who didn't commit any crime but are locked up by big men like Freeze for wronging them but not the law. Daddy Freeze has fu*cked up here not only as a self-claimed preacher of the gospel but as a thinking person who wants the betterment of Nigeria.

His actions have explored him as a ruthless person. I was wondering about his reaction especially when he was tagging all the bloggers on his page when the guy commented on his page. Yesterday, I noticed he is deleting comments and blocking people who told him that he made a mistake by locking the guy up. Imagine if he has the power of Bishop Oyedepo or Pastor Adebayo? As much as those men are not perfect but evidence has shown that they are more forgiving and merciful than Daddy freeze. Imagine if Bishop Oyedepo took action against Thisday newspaper for publishing fake news about his visa application and remember, Daddy Freeze, mock him too, If Bishop was a bad person, he would use that opportunity to knock him out just like David Ibiyeomie knocked out Kemi Olunloyo.
Oga, dont take this the wrong way, but with what you've written above here, I can categorically say both you and that fellow above who assented to your opinion " don't have sense".

If a person in any enlightened/developed part of the world makes a loose terrorist remark, such a person will be arrested, detained and thoroughly investigated, irrespective of whether the person has committed the actual crime or not.

Similarly, in the developed world, if you make such paedophilic remarks like that dude made, you will be arrested, detained, thoroughly investigated and your name could be engraved in the sexual offenders register for life.

Daddy Freeze only helped the police do their work by bringing their attention to the case... and by the way, it was his child involved so it was in his place to do something.. In sensible nations, a Daddy Freeze or any 'big man' doesnt have to be involved before the police arrests people like that. You dont wait for the crime to be committed before you deal with potential paedophiles.

And education gets $100m
This loan isn't the national budget and it doesn't replace the national budget (which already has ~$3bn for education). It's just a loan primarily to finance certain key capital projects and i dont see anything wrong with that.

Meanwhile without even reading it in detail, I even see some more funds for education in there:
– Better Education Service Delivery for All (BESDA) ($500m, nationwide). So how did you come up with your $100m figure? Crowd mentality?

Education is important but sometimes we need to leave this crowd mentality begin and kiss the truth; Nigeria has a massive infrastructure deficiency and all funds cant just be spent on education in a country that doesnt have mere power supply or mororable roads.

I particularly would be pleased to see Mambilla hydro dam come to existence as that singular project would change the game in our power woes. Sometime in 2016 when power generation and distribution hit 5100mw, everybody confessed how power supply in their areas had improved, and then it crashed back to below 4000mw and we returned to darkness. Mambilla alone adding consistent 3000mw to the grid will change a lot. Fairly good power supply eill cancel a lot of misery and frustration we experience everyday in Nigeria.

COMPAQ:
I disagree with most of the things there!!! For goodness sake why are we taking a loan of $500mln to digitize NTA!!! As far as I'm concerned NTA should be privatized. If Channels, AIT, TCV and other are surviving on their own and doing far better than NTA, why should we be taking a loan for NTA?

Even the east West road that's there for me is a fraud. Which east west road are they still doing that needs to be $800mln (NGN288bln!!!) East West Road is Eket Junction to Port Harcourt; Port Harcourt to Warri; Warri to Benin, Benin to Ore; Ore to Shagamu Interchange.

Of these, only Ore to Shagamu and Warri to Benin remain. Not sure that should cost N288bln. unless they plan to add Calabar to Uyo to Eket Junction to it then I can agree.
The East West road is actually just Warri to Ikot Abasi (Eket Junction), and the truth is that current work done cant be much more than 50%.... $800m though is weird. N100bn sgould compleye the job.

IF the money is juduciously used for it's intended purpose, then it wouldnt be a bad idea borrowing, but anything else, Nigeria is in serious trouble.
