otokx:Yeah there's certainly an infrastructural problem. But some lecturers also need to be evaluated to confirm their mental fitness for their jobs. There's a clear difference between a lecturer whose capacity to deliver is limited by the infrastructure deficit, and a lecture who gleefully boasts that 80% will fail his course. |
jericco1:Yeah he should have joined the episcopal party PDP which God has used to progress and bless Nigerians since 1999. |
I support this motion... In Nigerian universities, some silly lecturers feel when they fail 80% of their students they are being mean or wicked or strong. But in saner societies, if 80% of your students fail an examination, you the lecturer will be severely queried for not doing your job of teaching them properly. |
Okay this thread seems like one of those where haters from far and wide would converge to have a filled day. Oya, let the stone throwing start! ![]() |
crackhouse:Did she mention anywhere that she was showing you a house?... You're are the one running to open threads about her to go LOOK at her pictures now you're here complaining about her showing you her house? |
delugajackson:Another shameless exhibition of the nigerian bad-belle / hating mentality. How is her marriage status your business?... In your mind, marriage = achievement, and so therefore, you gladly just found yourself the right weapon to pull her down. |
RTSC: RTSC:Firstly, I sympathise with you on your obsession with Buhari. You seem to be incapable of making a single sentence without mentioning the word 'Buhari' even in the most unrelated topics. Anyway, your point on Maurice Iwu being handicapped by military rule or whatever it was is inconsequential here. This thread is more about the performance of INEC under Maurice vs INECs performance under Mahmood; the thread isnt about making excuses and passing blames. The core of this matter is that Inec under Iwu was as useless as the 'P' in the word Psychology. Under Iwu, accreditation would still be ongoing, but results would be announced in the capital. Under Iwu, you could have 2million registered voters and years later, an election would be held and exactly 2million votes would be counted. These shiit dont happen anymore. The biggest problem we have these days is the violence, with politicians sponsoring thugs to go disrupt elections. It makes absolutely no sense to pin the blame of that on an INEC chairman (both Iwu and Mahmood are exonerated from that). Some person's here have mentioned inconclusive elections; the inconclusive clause was not added to the INEC laws by Mahmood. If inconclusive and supplementary elections are to be avoided, the winner should have to win his opponent with a wide gap. By all logical and sensible indices, its laughable for anyone to try and compare INEC under Maurice to the evolved INEC of today. |
RTSC:Okay, I can see your problem is buhari here. But kindly go back and re-read the topic. The thread is talking about INEC heads, a comparison of the rot in INEC under Maurice Iwu vs the current guy. |
Anybody who makes an attempt to compare the Maurice Iwu era to the current was either a child during the Iwu days or is just an adult suffering from serious amnesia. |
Choii... the gbedu no go be here! |
May God save us from this kind of depression Blackface is going through. How can you keep beefing and beefing someone, the person keeps ignoring you, yet you still keep firing and firing?... Whatever 2face did to this guy must have really hurt him bad; 2face go don do this guy really strooong thing... Abeg for the sake of old times, make 2face try answer this guy and go settle this matter. Would be nice seeing both brothers reunite. |
Bad roads are a major cause of accidents in Nigeria. But a bigger cause is bad and irresponsible driving. |
RTSC:Whenever a business fails, there will be losses, yes LOSSES! But it's better it failed earlier, cos the earlier it fails, the lower the losses. The govt should have no business running a business. Summary is that it has failed and it has failed! Are you going to keep whining on that for the rest of your life? Feel free to do that if it makes you feel better. |
eyeview:Imo air had one plane which was operated by Dana Air. The plane is currently damaged after it overran the runway in PH airport 2 years ago. Enough of this recurring Air Nigeria talks. There apparently was a plan to float a national airline, but the plan flopped. Why must we keep talking about it over and over again as if our lives depend on it?... Is this the first time a business idea has not worked out?... It's better that the idea was shelved before significant sums were spent on planes. |
African leaders.. shameless!!! |
What better reason to offload the burden of NNPC off the hands of the govt. |
Jesu! |
NOETHNICITY:I have no words for you, I already exhausted my words to describe your type who revel in religious disharmony and who are relentless in turning this into a Christian vs Muslim issue even here in far away Nigeria. You're simply desperate to justify your hatred for Christians; so feel free to keep nurturing your hate. Bye! |
OkunrinOloro:In the next 50 years, fossil fuels would still be very very relevant the world over. And even long before then, Dangote would have recouped his investment and made massive profits. There is absolutely nothing faulty with the strategic planning of building a refinery in Nigeria; infact, the only error in strategic reasoning is for a country like Nigeria not having a single functional refinery. |
olisaEze:You fail to see the big picture. Bokoharam reigns supreme in some of these interior locations in the north east. You wouldnt imagine the locals who live at their mercy everyday to have the courage to dare oppose them. Nothing is unexpected about this video of locals hailing their oppressors. After all, across Nigeria, it's almost always a norm for people to hail their oppressors (political leaders); so I wouldn't expect anything different from these local folks who actually risk decapitation (with a kitchen knife) if they dare oppose. You said the best defense is to run?... Are you for real?... Run to where exactly? Leave their villages and heritage and elderly and run to an IDP camp where they may die of hunger? |
Jayslicky: emmabest2000:The vehicle in question is in the UK not Nigeria. By customized, it might just be the number plates. N24million isn't far from the price you can get that vehicle in the UK; let's just say it goes between N24 - N30 million (at an exchange rate of N466/GBP) |
maasoap:Yes I commented several times because I am utterly disgusted by your intolerant ideology. A murderous crimimal in far away NZ attacks a mosques. He claims he did so to preserve white supremacy (whatever that means); he never mentioned he was a Christian and neither did he mention that he did what he did because of Christ or for Christianity. So why exactly are you bringing Christianity into this?... MURIc and its sympathisers like yourself here in far away Nigeria have automatically turned it into a Muslim vs Christian issue; calling out Christians and calling out CAN. Of course we know the usual next step to expect, some misguided folks up north will soon go about burning churches. After all, MURIC has just given them a justification with its senseless inciting statements here that "Christians are attacking mosques in NZ." Once again, I have commented several times on this thread because I am utterly disgusted by the kind of ideology you possess. |
2truthfulguy:You're clearly the one bringing religion into this. You're simply desperate to enjoy the pleasure of saying "yaayy!! there are also Christian terrorists too." All the examples you gave above, how many of them declared that they were doing the killings for God or for their religious faith?.. Would be nice if you could provide an answer. Instead of you to focus on trying to address members of your faith who keep tarnishing the image of your religion, you're here expending your entire time and energy trying to prove that there are also Christian terrorists. Obviously you think life is all about a meaningless Christian vs Muslim contest. |
iceboy4752:Well, it's not a competition. The only reason those people are called Islamic terrorists is because they by themselves claim that they are Muslims, that they are committing the acts for God and that they will be rewarded by God for defending their faith. I am not the one who labels them religious terrorists, they do so themselves, so how can you blame me for it?.... And again, when it becomes commonplace for some devils to commit crimes and declare that they do it because of their faith, by human instincts, the law of generalisation will naturally take precedence. Next time when a similar crime is perpetrated by someone of same faith, it is only natural for humans to generalise and assume its the same scenario playing out (at least until proven otherwise). E.g. Nigerians are perceived as fraudsters all over the world because of the actions of a few Nigerians. An incontrovertible fact is that there are numerous people out there tarnishing the image of your religion by committing inhuman acts and ascribing it to a defense of your faith. These are the set of people you should be angry with and fighting. But it seems you spend more of your time and energy trying to prove that not only members of your faith do it. |
Dittox:Of course there are terrorists out there who do what they do and claim they are doing it for Christianity. But that's certainly not the case in this NZ incident; such religious groups usually declare it clearly who they are and why they're doing whatever they do, but in this NZ incident, did the perpetrator claim he was a Christian?... Even if he's a Christian, did he claim at any point that he was doing it for any God or for his faith?... So why bring Christianity into this at all? What exactly is the obsession of the MURIc fellows with Christians that they are forcefully labelling this NZ case a Christian terror attack?... Isnt it obvious they are doing this just purely to justify their hatred and potential future attack against Nigerian Christians and churches?.... If a person is not Muslim, does it automatically mean he must be Christian?... Isn't it obvious that the MURIC dude is just spoiling for a fight and deperately grasping on to anything he can hold on to to justify his hatred against Christians in Nigeria? |
OfficialMURIC:Of course the only reason behind your existence is to hate hate and hate Christians. That's the only thing your brains think about - how to hate and attack Christians wherever possible. Nowhere was it written or reported that the perpetrator of the crime in far away NZ was a Christian; he never claimed he was of any religion, he never claimed he was doing what he was doing for God and he never claimed he was doing it in the name of God. But already, because of your natural hatred for Christians, you and your folks have termed it "Christian terrorism", obviously a suitable excuse to justify your next attack on the next church somewhere in northern Nigeria. |
This MURIC retard has come up again with another of his anti-Christian rhetorics. A criminal in far away new New Zealand commits a heinous crime; the perpetrator of the crime never claimed to be of any religion, and neither did he claim he was fighting for God, or in the name of God. But here we are in far away Nigeria, MURIC has automatically turned it to a Christian vs Muslim issue, MURIC is now dragging Nigerian Christians into this; labelling it Christian terrorism and trying to pull CAN into a conversation... All I see here is the muric guy desperately trying to justify the mindless attack of Christians around Nigeria by claiming that Christians also attck Muslims in some parts of the world. I wouldn't ve surprised if some folks up north go and start burning Churches. |
PrecisionFx:Did you just really say the Abuja to Kaduna railway was COMMISSIONED in 2015 before election?... Na wa oh!.. If it was truly commissioned, how come no passenger train could run on it?.... How can you commission a railway system when the stations were not built, when the signalling had not been done and when the tracks were not even completed?... How come the Chinese contractors could not hand it over to the Nigerian authorities until July 2016?... Can you provide any evidence whatsoever (whether credible or not) to prove that it was commissioned in 2015 by GEJ as you claim?... As at December 2014 when the rail project was slated to be completed, it's on record that the overall project was ~90% complete. Before leaving office, even GEJ himself had to ask Buhari to ensure the project was completed. Outstanding counterpart funds were paid off by Buhari, the signalling and railway stations were completed only in 2016 before the project was eventually commissioned in July 2016. For your own good, quit living in this meaningless politics induced 'GEJ is GOD' self delusion. http://www.factchecknigeria.com/facts/contentious-abuja-kaduna-railway/ "" He also oversaw the conversion of the railway from being just for cargo to cover passengers transportation. Construction of rail stations along the route is currently ongoing and full passenger transportation would take off when the stations are completed""...But at least you agree the tracks have now been completed from Ajaokuta up to Aladja in Warri, a passenger train has been test-run on it for the first time and that railway stations are currently being constructed along the route?... Information on that is all over the internet; quit this meaningless politics driven self denial. You asked me what 'work' or achievement Amaechi has as a minister, I simply pointed out to you the ongoing works on the Ajaokuta to Warri rail route which is visible to even the blind; I never mentioned anywhere that it was completed. "But in 2016, he and his team were able to close out the deal for the Lagos to Ibadan section, secure the counterpart funding necessary to KO the project and the project finally saw the light of the day early in 2017. Construction is currently in full swing to be completed sometime this year. "Once again, you asked me what 'work' or achievement Amaechi has as a minister, I simply pointed out to you the ongoing works on the Lagos to Ibadan railway of which the track laying in the section between Lagos and Abeokuta has been completed, and a test run has been done with a passenger train (it is all over the internet). Since you said it's a lie that the project doesn't exist, I can't help you in your self imposed/intentional blindness. If you cannot see it, so be it! |
Shayo na bastard! That's all I could say after watching the video. As for mcgalaxy, the guy no try at all; the standard guy code when you see your friend drunk and displaying is to protect them as much as you can. Sometimes having the back of a friend and protecting them in their downtime entails depriving yourself of the party, cleaning vomit and lifting a heavy person to a safe location to go sleep. But in this case, all mcgalaxy had to do was just cut the call, and he would have saved her from a lot of pain. But because mcgalaxy is a slowpoke, the poor girl would now spend the rest of her time doing damage control moves like this, proclaiming that it's her body. Fact is that she definitely regrets her actions and would never have done that with a clear head. May we never keep stupid friends. |
PrecisionFx:Considering the job description of a transport minister, I do not think he has done badly relatively in the short period he has occupied the post especially given the budget available to him. At least he's got some things to brag about. - Amaechi saw to it the final balance owed for the Abuja to Kaduna rail was cleared in 2016 and that rail was commissioned. - Amaechi saw to it that the remaining sections of the Ajaokuta to Warri rail which has been under construction for almost 40 years (since the early 80's) was completed. Sections which had previously been vandalised were also fixed and a train ran on that route for the first time. He also oversaw the conversion of the railway from being just for cargo to cover passengers transportation. Construction of rail stations along the route is currently ongoing and full passenger transportation would take off when the stations are completed. - Amaechi was involved in several trips to China in 2016 to close out the loan deal for the Lagos to Kano and Lagos to Calabar railways. This project that has been in planning since 2006 with numerous MOUs and agreements signed. But in 2016, he and his team were able to close out the deal for the Lagos to Ibadan section, secure the counterpart funding necessary to KO the project and the project finally saw the light of the day early in 2017. Construction is currently in full swing to be completed sometime this year. - I understand an inland port was launched somewhere up north. - I understand some dredging has been done at the inland waterways to revive the Warri port (dont know the details of these though. The real question is, what did all the other ministers achieve?... What has Amaechi's other colleagues achieved in their ministries?... heck! since their appointment we havent even heard the name of several ministers at all, not on social media, not in the news, etc. |
Amaechi is definitely one the hardest working ministers. The deep seated hatred a bunch of embittered folks have for him can't change this fact. |
See embittered pained folks all over the thread wailing about GEJ and wishing Amaechi evil as if Amaechi came into politics to be GEJs houseboy. The hating is real! |
