So many foolish people roaming Nigerian streets.... There were several news reports from several renown Nigeria media houses on the 114% salary increase of political office holders.. Peter OBI was simply reacting to what was reported in the news. But obviously, you cant expect fools to notice that... They wouldn't question the media houses that reported the news, na only Peter OBI dem know!
And by the way, how's this even fake news? The RMAFC (an agency of the FG) indeed approved a 114% salary increase for the president and other political office holders. If Tinubu (after witnessing the public condemnation) decides not to give his approval, how does that make it fake news that a 114% hike was approved? |

By the way, the fullish man Peter Obi could not provide 247 power supply nor security in Anambla. If he had done that, he won’t be looking for stolen mandate everywhere, ya’ll would have just relocated to the paradise he built. But you people also swore that the other Yoruba man can't rule Lagos cos he's married to an Igbo woman? |

Those talking of federal character is bcoz they felt that the rigging or non compliance, if any at all, shouldn't be localized for someone who claimed he won in 36 states and FCT. They expect the rigging to be everywhere and witnesses should be from everywhere (federal character). So if my brother witnesses the robbery of my shop in Maiduguri, he's not permitted to be a witness in the case because in line with federal character and equitable representation, I am bound to bring an indigene of Borno state only as my witness? ...and if I can't find an indigene of Borno state who's willing to testify, I shouldn't fight the case in court? Indeed there are plenty dumb folks roaming about this forum. |

Can't you see from the report that the lazy youth was rubbished ni? She confirmed that she is a member of Labour Party and she sued INEC in the past. How can then be taken seriously? She also confirmed that AWS did not send her to come and represent them, so she is not in an official position to speak on the subject.
AWS will not come to give evidence against the President of the most populous black nation on earth because AWS is not owned by an idiot. Several people on this thread keep saying she's a member of LP!!! she's a member of LP!!! so if she's a member of LP and so what? She claims she provided evidence from a publicly available information repository to support an argument that there was no network glitch on the INEC server on election day. The sensible argument here should be on the veracity of the information she provided, not whether she's OBI's daughter or whatever. |

nairalanda1: That may be, but it still does not invalidate my argument about the bad internet we have overall.
Oga, once again, you are arguing based on thw idea that i am defending corrupt government. I am.just pointing out one of the reasons why the bvas may have not worked and i even had the idea that there would be glitches before the election
So at the end, we arw just talking two different things.
But on elections, we can never have free and fair elections in this country until people stop seeing themselves as victims. Politicans inclusive. I know why i say.this.
Evening To summarise what I said before, the non-upload of the presidential result had absolutely nothing to do with Nigeria's bad internet!!!. By the way, I have no clue what you meant by that last statement; what has election rigging got to do with people being victims? |
Politics › Re: Presidential Election Results Refused To Upload, INEC Officers Tell Tribunal by obailala(m): 8:19pm On Jun 19, 2023 |
nairalanda1: Sadly it does not change the fact that the BVAS was affected by our bad internet service.
Oga , i am.not excusing bad leadership and oir corrupt electoral system.
At the end, hopefully, our internet will improve
Thanks and good night. Reality is not always our friend.
And yes, i do not support any of the parties. Internet connectivity didnt affect anything! THe refusal to upload the presidential results were deliberate (orders from above); anyone (even the blind) could see that clearly. I can go pull up some old circulating videos where voters battled election officals to upload the results; the officials bluntly refused citing 'bad network' as the problem. In some cases, voters even offered to hotspot internet from their phones, but the officials refused claiming the problem was from the INEC server and not the internet connection in the area. Some other officials claimed their ogas didnt provide a specific pass code which they claimed was required to securely upload the presidential results. In some units, after the mob pressure from the voters, 'network' miraculously appeared and the officials were forced to upload. Now an AWS official has just prrovided evidence that there was nothing wrong with the health status of the INEC cloud services on that election day; this already rules out the foolish lie by INEC officials that their network was down. Even a blind person or a child could easily tell that the selective refusal to upload just the presidential results was deliberate. But then, we're in Nigeria, a shithole African country, so even if all the evidence in the world is provided to the court, I dont still trust the already compromised courts to do anything right. |
Politics › Re: Presidential Election Results Refused To Upload, INEC Officers Tell Tribunal by obailala(m): 7:44pm On Jun 19, 2023 |
nairalanda1: What other network exists.?
INEC does not have any special internet network...they use what is on ground. And beyond our cities, internet is bad, very bad.
(I've even tried it, if I am on a long journey as a passenger, after passing a certain limit, I cannot browse on my android).
BVAS was not going to work very well. Anyway, as time goes on.... Of course! Internet is bad all over Nigeria; that's why the INEC officials used USA and UK internet connections to upload the NASS results, but the UK and USA connections selectively failed when it got the presidential results. Very typical imbecilic excuse you hear from shameless African public officials; another recent example was how someone claimed a strange python swallowed millions and how monkeys snatched public funds. If nobody could be prosecuted for those, why should anyone expect INEC to come up with a sensible defense? |

rippa: The attack against the igbos is very real now and this forum have been activated to champion it. You dare not go against Tinubu or APC otherwise you be tag an igbo person. Anybody that speaks against Tinubu, whether u support Obi, Atiku or any other candidate, you are automatically an Obi supporters and an igbo person. Anybody that support Obi regardless of where you come from whether igbo, Yoruba, hausa or the SS, you are automatically called an igbo person by these same sets of people. For Seun and his bias mods to be seeing all these selective target on the igbo tribe and allowing it, then this forum have been activated for that purpose. I can't even make a comment here without being called an igbo man If you cant take the heat, perhaps you need to leave the kitchen. Tinubu and Obi supporters have been throwing gbas gbos at each other for over the year now, so what's the cry for? You cant deny the fact that while OBI has supporters from all tribes and regions, he also has a pretty large followership amongst Igbos; similarly, Tinubu has a large followership amongst Yorubas. With these statistics in mind, there's nothing unusual if an anonymous online OBI supporter is erroneously assumed to be Igbo; likewise if an anonymous Tinubu supporter is automatically assumed to be Yoruba. So please calm down on the 'victim mentality' cos nobody holy pass. |

The big question is did Tinubu go into the future to copy Obi's Manifesto? OBI's manifesto was SPOKEN! ..... All Nigerians heard OBI's manifesto directly from his own mouth; he openly expressed his plans in numerous interviews and speeches, unlike some others who couldnt speak publicly and who just hired people to author a document of which they have no clue of its contents. |
