I lend my voice to this call 100%, only a fool will sit back and allow his throat to be slit by some dirty idiots all because he wants to abide by some religious tenets. If someone comes to me with the intentions to kill me, I will make an attempt to kill him first; and I don't believe I will be breaking any Christian laws. |

ajepako:It takes an advanced level of zombieism for you not to see or realise what most of your ilk do everyday (including on this thread). |
Dem don claim say na Holy Spirit. |
1. Solve power supply issues by any known means. Epileptic power supply is the single biggest hindrance to Nigeria's industrialisation and industrialisation (not even agriculture) is the key to Nigeria's prosperity. It doesn't matter if the FG borrows the entire $30 billion and sinks it into power supply. But unlike in the past, they should do it right this time. For instance, investing in solar power although expensive (twice the price of gas plants), it comes with the advantage that from conception to completion of the projects can be achieved within 12 months. Another advantage is the almost zero operating cost as compared to gas plants where gas has to be bought and would never be delivered. 2. Fix our petroleum refining capacity. If Nigeria can stop importing petroleum products today, we would be saving over 60% of our forex and this alone would return the Naira to N150/$. I totally envy whoever would be Nigeria's president from 2019 when Dangote's refinery would come on stream. There would be an instant turn around in the economic fortunes of the country and as usual, whoever is the president by then would claim the glory as 'body language.' ![]() |
erico2k2:In case there are some criminals camouflaging inside the protesting crowd to cause wahala. |
How can the same thing be allowed to repeat itself over and over again?.... Dont we have rubber bullets or pepper spray or tear-gas or water cannons in Nigeria to disperse protesters if they are getting unruly? |
luvinhubby:Like i said earlier, the explanation is reserved for discerning minds. |
ephi123:No you will be alright, I wasnt the one complaining upandan. |
ephi123:See someone who's advising me to forget the past (of 2 years ago) is now talking of IBB and Abacha. Of course I wouldn't talk about them because I don't have anyone constantly reminding me how they were saints; we all agree on what they stand for. |
idupaul:I know say you hate buhari and the present government but at least, make you dey try to use your 'census' small na... ![]() |
EmoBoy:Could this have been the insurgents the air force tried to bomb when they dropped bombs at the IDP camp? Double wahala for dead body ![]() |
ephi123:I am squarely facing the present, but I wish I would not be distracted by wailers who keep bringing up the past and reminding us of how the country was supposedly 'paradise' when a group of persons were mindlessly squandering mega-bucks meant for infrastructural development. Today we have next to nothing to show for several years of mega-income; no refineries built, no roads completed, over $8.5 billion spent on power but we still have about the most epileptic power supply worldwide. Today possibly over 60% of Nigeria's forex is wasted importing fuel, and even this thread discusses the terrible state of our power infrastructure. And then some of the glorifiers of these folks shamelessly accuse the present guys who recently just took power and who hardly have a dime to work of being the cause of the problem? How do you expect me to feel when someone keeps reminding me of these unforgivable things I keep trying to forget? |
luvinhubby:Obama follow stand for sun to remove GEJ?... Isn't it wonderful how degenerative the minds of most wailers have become?.. i can't even place it whether it's the hunger or whether its just the election loss trauma 2 years after. I don't need to explain to you the reasons behind the 20 months crisis since he left; every discerning mind knows the cause of the problem and every discerning mind knows we were already clearly accelerating into this present mess before the last dude bailed out and handed over a carcass. It would take time before things reverse, but meanwhile, you and your ilk can keep having prayer vigils and celebrating answered prayers when economic saboteurs blow up gas or crude pipelines to further cripple the already crippled economy. Like i said earlier, every discerning mind understands what the causes of the problem are. |
ephi123:The only persons calling calling black white are people like yourself who keep deceiving yourselves, blatantly lying to yourselves and all who care to listen that that the nation was a paradise when leeches were sucking away our collective patrimony. Today nothing is left to be sucked, and we all feel the excruciating pain caused by years of indiscretion from leaders. I am not out there telling anyone that things are rosy because things are not. But it pains my ears whenever you and your ilk keep glorifying the wasters who squandered our good luck in the recent past and bailed out just when things were about to crash. Meanwhile like I said before, i am not hungry to be seeking peanuts from politicians, probably your continuous glorification of the leeches is because you earned some peanuts while they ruined the nation. |
ephi123:Lol... you wish you were being paid to dance around naked glorifying incompetent thieves who squandered the mega blessings of the country right?... Sorry woman, I dont need any money from any dubious politician. |
Themandator:The only reason a buhari could have won that election was because of the sort of opponents he was running against. |
ephi123:Bunch of losers who cant get over an election loss that happened 2 years ago. Even the politicians themselves who spent mega bucks to prosecute the election have moved on. |
ephi123:Get lost if you dont have eyes to look through the thread and see several references to 2015 elections. |
luvinhubby:We are obviously not there yet, its very obvious. But unlike most of you whose 'GEJ is GOD' zombieism is perpetual, I am not afraid to move on and try new things until we get it right, I wouldn't lend my support to perpetuate rubbish. If a good/better/reasonable candidate comes up in 2019, I would definitely try him out. Cheers! |
ephi123:Bla bla bla bullshitt... You obviously cannot see how it is always you and your ilk (with a crazy obsession for GEJ) who keep bringing up his name in every national discussion. Everytime you criticise buhari and then make reference to how the country was a paradise under GEJ until we decided to bring buhari, you have clearly introduced GEJ to the discussion. But then, you begin to wail when someone responds? Why do you think you have the right to talk of GEJ but I dont? |
Omoakinsuyi:The only real cluelessness is in getting the militants and some politicians fronting as militants from destroying pipelines. Imagine production at 1.2m barrels against 2.2million? One of the major reasons behind the persistent shortage of forex is clear. |
Sometimes these spokespersons need to understand that silence is the best message. |
idupaul:Okay apologies... I assumed you were one of the many folks who keep suggesting that re-electing the last failure should have been the solution to power problems even though it was clear they couldnt achieve anything after so much spent in 5 years. Oh yes, in 2019 another attempt would be made to correct the problem. Hopefully there would be good candidates unlike the the last time. |
progress69:These folks actually enjoy news like this, notwithstanding that they have to suffer the blackout too. Anything to lend them a voice to say 'PMB is failing' is a welcome develolment to most folks. Really weird how degenerative some human minds can be. |
idupaul:You tried to right thw wrong in 2015 by voting GEJ right? |
OBJ - $16 billion GEJ - $8.5 billion PMB - ?? Total = $24.5+ billion Yet we still have about the most epileptic power capacity globally with maximum generation ever achieved being 5075mw. Which way Nigeria? |
Of course, corruption created bokoharaam. Corruption is the only reason there is hunger and mass illiteracy in the land of plenty. And with this hunger comes anger, despair and hopelessness; and then in the search for solutions, people begin to embrace weird religious practices. |
Lol.. Nigeria, the land of the weird. |
adioolayi:What 'political point' can one even possibly score by being invited to swearing-in ceremony of another president?... I still can't placce the rationale behind the Deji guy and the wailers celebrating nonsense, shows how low many minds have degenerated to. |
What's even wrong with these yoruba vs igbo idiots on this forum?... Cant some humans just do any other thing with their lives other than hating and hurling insults at each other's tribe? |
I really dey shame for my people.... How on earth did invitation to presidential swearing-in become an achievement to celebrate?... Even Fayose a governor joins in the foolishness?... |
