The scam is not if they were kidnapped or not but that it was a planned game (not involving the kids & parents they were the victims as well a GEJ) The other over 1000 women, girls and children that have been freed from different bokoharam camps in the last 2 years, were those ones also a part of this grand plan? |

They're still looking for holes and any form of cut and join piece of trash they can put together to impress their admirers by claiming that the chibok incident was/is scam. I trust the Pastor (Omokri) to come up with something before the week runs out, FFK would dig up some Hausa-Fulani religious conquest history to buttress his own point by instilling religious and tribal division. GEJ and Metuh aren't in the shallow mental pack as the other two. |

onatisi: Thank you ,this is where I support and also disagree with u. Let me tell you something,if you privatise the land borders ,you will be amazed at the drastic drop in corrupt practises there but the notion those custom ppl have is that it is Nigeria money so lets chop . I am not saying they should privatise but govt can do it to the extent that every single shipment or goods through the border will be accounted for .we are in the 21st century and all these things isn't rocket science as all these politicians are making it look.but the point is the political will to do it. There is nothing impossible . Now look at the combined revenue from the seaport and land borders from rice and imagine how much money government will make. You should know that even 'elementary science' is 'rocket science' in Nigeria. Seems the authorities are following the easy way out for now which is to close land borders (which are more tricky) and allow only through the sea borders which are easier to monitor. |
Politics › Re: $3 Billion Nigeria Bound Rice Stuck In Benin Republic by obailala(m): 10:13am On Oct 15, 2016 |
onatisi: Then that is where govt should step in. They have all the apparatus to make it work and ppl pay. They can formulate a system that ppl cant beat. It doesn't make too much sense telling ppl not to import from land borders but only through the sea ports? Allowing importation from land borders with the kind of corrupt Customs officers we have, that amounts to just permitting smuggling with the effective collaboration of the Customs guys; no single kobo of the duty paid would get to govt... I think it is difficult tracking goods coming in through land borders unlike goods coming in through the seaports. Hence most of the revenue from duties are lost for goods coming in through land; we end up enriching neighbouring countries at our expense cos the importers pay duties to neighbouring countries, pay a token bribe to Customs officials at land borders and then import their ruce without paying a dime to govt. |

Something I picked out of this news report is that the Nigerian Customs Service is now far more effective.
For ages Nigeria has been banning the importation of rice to increase local production but the bans never for once even affected the volume of rice coming into Nigeria because we had a non-existent NCS. With the high cost of rice now and this report that billions of dollars worth of rice is hanging idly in cotonou, it seems like the Customs guys have now woken up.
This PROCESS of CHANGE is one painful one though, but Nigeria would eventually be better for it if things like this can be sustained. |

You might think yourself high-minded for 'looking beyond religion', but this is naive.
Religious beliefs are real beliefs, which lead to real thoughts,
and then to real actions.
Judging people by religion is not unfair, its just realpolitik. Judging from what religion has become in our world lately (taking Nigeria as a case study), I have chosen to throw religious considerations in the bin when judging issues or people; there are either good or bad people. |

As a president, he has every right to bring an end to this beastly behavior by his kinsmen, but no, he'll rather turn a blind eye because tbey're all alike. If this act is justifiable, why didn't he give out his own daughter to that old man that wanted to marry her. Seriously you people should grow a conscience Can you kindly give me one good reason why you are attacking me? What has my support for a buhari presidency (over the leeches that were booted out last year) got to do with some paedophiles in the north? What has this case got to do with my conscience?.... Very soon someone would blame buhari for their wife's inability to bear male children and my conscience would also be attacked because I refused to call buhari names. To some permanently bitter persons, calling buhari names (irrespective of the situation) is now regarded as a virtue and you expect everyone to join in this madness? Look here woman, if you cant to use your God given wisdom, kindly leave me out of these pointless rants next time. Thanks. |

Buhari is a monumental failure even aisha knows You want to buy dollars at 180/200?.. how much do you sell your ONLY commodity (oil) today compared to those years when the dollar was 160/180/200?... How much oil are you even selling today?... I'm sure you are also blaming PMB for not diversifying economy in 1 year, a task which couldn't be done in the last 20 years right?... Meanwhile GEJ met the dollar at about 140-150 and it maintained this value almost throughout his tenure until the tail end; so kindly tell us in your own understanding and logic why the dollar crashed to 220/230 as at his handover?Like I said, only simple minds don't ask the right questions about how we got here, even the most educated ones still ask the exact same sort of questions that okadamen on the streets would ask, "dollar was N200 and rice was 6k under GEJ, but it is now more expensive now so it is buhari". Why dont you also ask them to bring rice back to less than 2k which it was 17 years ago? |

Chikpat: World's Longest Serving Monarch; See How Citizens Mourned The Death Of King Of Thailand.
Heartbroken Thais are mourning the death of their beloved King Bhumibol who died today in hospital in Bangkok at the age of 88. He reigned for 70 years and commanded great respect from his people, who wept openly on the streets after learning of his passing away.
On hearing the announcement of the King's death, people outside the hospital where he was being treated wept in the street. One woman was so overcome with emotion on hearing of the king's death she collapsed to the ground...
Government officials say there will be a one-year mourning period, with all entertainment functions being 'toned down' for 30 days.
Source ; http://www.nationalhelm.net/2016/10/photos-see-how-citizens-mourned-death.html A lot of people mourned way way more than this in Nigeria courtesy of an ordinary election loss; in fact a lot are still mourning that election loss over 1.5 years after. A lot of the mourners have even proceeded to do several unthinkable things including praying and wishing all sorts of evil upon the nation, glorifying saboteurs of national assets and the economy and glaringly celebrating just about any misfortune befalling the nation. |

Blessynokoro: BREAKING: DSS Arrests Igbere TV Blogger, Anyalekwa for Criticizing Buhari spewing senseless propaganda; Site Shutdown
I have just been reliably informed that the Director of the popular News blog, IGBERE TV (IGBERETVNEWS.COM), Emeh James Anyalekwa has just been arrested by people suspected to be agents of DSS over allegations of anti Buhari publications.
Seven men in two Hilux Jeeps early this morning at about 6.00am stormed the Uyo residence of the blogger and whisked him away in the presence of his wife and little daughter without disclosing the reason for his arrest and their destination.
The men took away his Laptops, his phones, his wife’s phones and every digital device in sight after ransacking their apartment.
Though the DSS has not confirmed his arrest, a source in DSS office Uyo said that the Presidency is not happy with Anyalekwa over IGBERE TV’s persistent pro Biafra publications. He was also wanted for questioning over what he called "some sensitive anti Buhari publications" recently.
The source also revealed that Anyalekwa was first taken to an unknown location in Uyo before immediately being transferred to Abuja.
Anyalekwa’s fast rising blog, (IGBERETVNEWS.COM), launched about a year ago has been attacked and shutdown severally by people suspected to be agents of the federal government over his persistent pro Biafra reports.
Just last Friday, The blog was shutdown by his host without any reason. On Tuesday 11th October, the site was restored after he changed his host, but surprisingly, it was shutdown again by the new host the following day (less than 48 hours later) without any concrete reason. The site is still down as at the time of this report as his engineers are reportedly battling round the clock to restore the site back online.
I hereby call on Buhari and his DSS people to immediately release Anyalekwa. The last time I checked, we‘re still in a democracy. If they have anything against the Blogger, the right thing to do is to charge him to court. Buhari should stop all these human rights violations before it’s too late.

When Nnamdi Kanu called the dullard and his people pedophiles, some cursed christian southerners were foaming in the mouth and shouting 'Kill Kanu', Egift, doctokwus, obailala do you conscience ever prick you? Mr, what does my political support for Buhari's presidency have to do with activities of paedophiles in the north?... Has the election loss trauma also messed your brains to this extent that you can't reason anymore like a normal human?.... So because most Hausa's chose to support paedophilia, so therefore Obailala and every proper Christian from the south should have supported GEj even though I knew he was ruining the nation?... Or probably I should have supported a pyschopath Kanu who has succeeded in inciting hate in gullible youths with the promise of some strange utopian nation, not even a single structure in place, just a promise that once a name is changed, everything would be paradise, and that's what I'm suppose to dive into?....
