Religion / RCCG To Hold Virtual Crossover Service by Ojugunrege(f): 11:31am On Dec 29, 2020
End crossover service at 1215am, no: 1100pm, CAN to conduct virtual 1130pm to 1230pm crossover service, different states particularly in the South West affirming/declaring curfews, etc. It is certainly a challenging time to be a Christian leader in Nigeria. embarassed

RCCG rose to the occasion with this statement.

Message from RCCG authorities reads: "Kindly be informed that in compliance with the Federal Government and various state Government directives, the cross over service shall be virtual and the cross over message from Daddy G.O shall be relayed through all our social media platforms as usual.

You're to also note that the January Holy Ghost Service scheduled to take place on Friday 8th January 2021 shall also be held virtual.

```Kindly disseminate this development to all and sundry and encourage all our members to invite their friends and family to be part of the cross over service and January 2021 Holy Ghost Service.
Thank you and God bless."
I don't stay at home except for weekends as I am working outside my state, but due to the curfew I find my way back home yesterday so I was able to
concerned Daddy
He's just a child o. Please stop beating him. Ah! You started worrying the child about academics too early.
My first child started school at 2 years & 11 months. This covid-19 has also been a blessing for my toddler. He's 2 years & 6 months now and not in any school yet. Till next year by God's grace.
Take it easy on the child. He's not a slow learner. Small, small o.
You have gotten plenty good advice here already.
All ye people saying, he should be reading a-z and counting up to 100 at 3 years, e de beru Oloun shocked
By the time I was done, I was all sweaty and shaky embarassed embarassed I was so embarrassed I stuck to back-up till I left
that church.
The Pastor did not forget to mention the chorister who fell into a prayer trance while leading praise and worship grin cheesy in the next workers' meeting.
DaSailor:
Not at all.... Your personal banking details are your responsibility, there is contact center and I think that's enough.
I have of someone who lost over N1m in less than 24 hours, cos the SIM was recycled.
He is in diaspora and has not used SIM for over 2 years, the new owner gets an alert, sees the balance and proceeds to make withdrawals.
Luckily, he gets email notifications, that's what saved him if not that account would have been emptied.
I don't understand How is it possible to make withdrawals without any instruments - ATM cards, withdrawal slips or cheques, the latter 2 even requires signature?
...and it is true. I feel so sad.
Ibidunni-mi Ajayi aya Ighodalo, may your soul rest in perfect peace in the bosom of your Lord!
I never met her in person but I met you severally on the pages of newspaper and online. First was when she was crowned Miss Lux in a pageant that didn't involve any nudity, then college, marriage to pastor ituah, the fertility struggles, the foundation, elizabeth R, the babies. I lapped-up every story that had Ibidunni in it.
I loved her - she inspired me, she spoke peacefully, she was calm and of course beautiful. I resonated with a lot of things she represented - we were age mates!
I loved her dress sense - stylish, elegant yet modest and decent. She was a queen.
A woman that blessed others through her own struggles. I was looking forward to her 40th. cry We have lost a gem. Sleep well, sister!
The calendar was very slow before the appointment of Prof. Elujoba and prof. Ogunbodede as VC. But things are better now.
At least some of us that were admitted in 2015 are now in 500 level.
Yeah, I realized so. I hope they keep that up. My younger sister also graduated from ife and had a better deal.
I'm afraid I'm not familiar with those VCs you mentioned.
We had Rogers Makanjuola & Faborode in my days...hopefully, my memory serve me right. smiley
Education / Re: Lagos Pegs Entry Age Into JSS1 At 12 Years by Ojugunrege(f): 12:59pm On Apr 07, 2020
Everything gets messed up in this country. Why don't we try to just get things right?
While it's laudable what this law is trying to address which is underage admissions to secondary school, the age recommendation is wrong.
The age for JSS1(Year 7) is 11-12, which simply means the pupil is at least 11 on entry and will be 12 during that school year. A lot of good secondary schools in Nigeria already have this rule.
Not to enter JSS1 at 12 as Lagos state is proposing.
