Goddex:And he also wrote the name of his party wrongly. There's nothing like All Progressives Congress Party, it's simply All Progressives Congress. |
knightsTempler:May the good God bless you. Amen. |
Zealoflife:Friend, don't ruminate over this for too long. The dispositions of many youths (on Nairaland and in the country at large) toward national issues, and most especially, Buhari's certificate scandal is a reflection of their upbringing and to a greater extent, educational background. Most of them, as I have always said, are products of exam cheating and age falsification, some of whom are with certificates they can't defend. So, it's not unexpected if they queue behind a former general who cannot boast of ordinary school certificate. Honestly, I do not derive pleasure disparaging Buhari for his plight, but in this modern era where education and professionalism has been taken to a higher realm, he does not have all it takes to rule Nigeria, that's the reality. |
dre11:Friend, on a more serious note, Jonathan's earlier visit(s) would not have made any difference having delegated that responsibility to his subjects. Ministers and other govt functionaries had visited Borno, and most especially, Chibok at various times. Meanwhile, can you recollect what led to the war in Rwanda when thousands of Tutsis and Hutus were killed? The war broke out when a former govt functionary of that country visited a crisis-ridden area and he was killed in a plane crash. That was the genesis of Rwanda's genocide. If anything negative had happened to GEJ (Jesus forbid) when visiting Borno or any other insurgency prone area , what do you think the fate of Nigeria would have been? Choosing a surprise visit to a war zone has always been adopted by leaders all over the world. We have seen that played out by Obama during his unscheduled and unanounced visits to Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and the rest. |

And Jonathan's answers go thus; Yes, I indeed promised to spend a term as the president but as a result of exigencies precipitated by the north using Boko haram to undermine my laudable agenda, there's a pressing need to seek second term in order to consolidate on ongoing transformation projects. 2. The foreign reserve depletion was brought about by negative oil price variations, a global phenomenon that cut across all oil-dependent countries. 3. I have not committed any sin for opting to further serve my dear nation, after all, your Excellency attempted to change the constitution for a third term tenure elongation. 4. If breaking a promise to serve one term is one of your grouses, then extend your advice to Buhari for him to step down since he too cry-promised not to contest for presidency again. 5. The North has ruled Nigeria for 40 wasted years, is it a crime if a Niger Deltan (the nation's food basket) decides to lead for paltry 8 years? 6. Your Excellency sir, when have you now become the numero uno who determines who becomes Nigerian president? 7. Buruji Kasamu in the eyes of the law is still a suspect having not been convicted by any court both locally and internationally, why should his fundamental human right be breached in the name of political considerations? The leader of APC, Bola Tinubu has also not been completely cleared of a US drug peddling case in the nineties. 8. Sir, have you forgotten that you took part in a coup and attempted to topple Abacha's govt, convicted and escaped death by the whiskers but later pardoned? If you had been given Buruji Kasamu's treatment, would you have become prison-to-president personality in the anals of our history? 9. With regards to Boko haram sir, I chose to adopt carrot and stick approach instead of killing innocent Nigerians the way you did in Odi, Bayelsa State so as not to be accused of committing genocide. Have you forgotten the number of innocent lives lost when Ya'adua asked the military to invade Gbaramatu also in Bayelsa? Even when I decided to lunch full-scale onslaught, Buhari, Hell Rufai and notable northern elders accused me of "killing the north". I am sure you understand the complexity of Nigeria as a nation. The decision to adopt civility approach should not however be taken as weakness on my part. 10. And finally Sir, kindly appeal to your masters in the north to sheath their swords and allow my govt to have peace so that they can be accorded the same gestures when they take over governance in 2019. One good turns deserves another. Thank you your Excellency. GEJ. |
olatade:I am sure the Daura man will be saying " Walahi, this Otuoke man don short my ration for northeast". |
dre11:Yes, he was right to have cancelled the previous visits because nobody wan die. Jonathan get two lives or you wan kill am? A surprise visit when nobody expects is the best. I beg leave our GEJ alone. |
vincencior:Stop that trash! Talk for yourself and your 6-member family. Don't ever use "we" again. GEJ till 2019. |
olatade:Great news. I know some APC ostriches will allude it to 2015 elections, no qualms. Even Buhari was seen singing chorus with Pastor Adeboye in Lagos. GEJ TILL 2019. |
gift01:Sometimes, too much of English can have some side-effects. Fashola's oratory prowess is making him to overshoot the runways in recent time. If Agbaje is too old, what do we say about our Daura man? E be like say Fashola and Jagaban don't dey fear. |
Suljosh:Mad dog, for your information my mother will never behave in such clownish, hypocritical, opportunistic and ignominious manner. I guess your own strayed mother will jump at any chance to use national calamities for relevance? |
dvee2:God forbid! I will never pray to God for such tainted "achievements". Can't you see where mediocrity and subtlety has landed him now? He's the only General who allegedly failed all the military exams he attempted in Nigeria, no wonder it was his deputy (Idiagbon) that virtually ran his 2-year reign as head of state. Buhari's case can be likened to that of so many Nigerians who are brandishing certificates from exams written for them by paid writers. They are the most vibrant shouters of "change" today. If that's the way you want your life to be channeled, then badluck to you! |
WINDSOW:Forget about the so-called integrity. If Buhari had attempted to forge a certificate, his shame would have been double portion of what he's receiving now. In fact, the man will park-up as soon as the lid is opened. |
olufikistick:It serves that useless good-for-nothing woman right. She is gradually constituting nuisance and degrading her personality. I am earnestly waiting for next month when GEJ is reelected, I swear she would relocate to Sambissa. |
LordCenturion:What past achievement Mr. Propaganda! Endeavour to enumerate those " achievements" and let Nairalanders and other Nigerians see. Are you referring to incarcerating a VP(Alex Ekuweme) and confining the President (Shagari), who was the head of govt to "house arrest"? Are you talking about jailing people for 300 years without proper judicial process? Are you counting selective war against indiscipline (where he closed his eyes and allowed 53 suitcases of foreign currency belonging to his stepfather to be smuggled into the country) as an achievement? Tell us those achievements and stop foolish fables. |
hedonistic:That's a very good question. If we cast our minds back to Buhari's govt between 1983 and 1985, it's on record that most of the talking, press interviews and other activities were 95% carried out by Idiagbon (Buhari's deputy). What can we make out of that? It simply means Buhari's educational deficiencies had been a limiting factor for a long time. How can someone with such track record lead Nigeria in 2015, more than 30 years down the lane? It's impossible. We won't allow Nigeria to become laughing stock among committee of nations. Buhari will not rule Nigeria again. |
Amusaopeyemi:In the eyes of an unreasonable element like you. Mugabe of Zimbabwe despite being old like Buhari has two Masters Degrees and a fool like you is saying ordinary WASCE holder who could not improve himself educationally over a period of 30 years is better than a PHD holder. I wonder how your personal life looks like. |
whiterock:You're 100% right. It's even pitiable how baseless, error-filled and propagandist posts are allowed to make FP. Very disgusting. |

What else do we expect from a drug addict, a cerificate forger and the most fraudulent Nigerian politician. Birds of the same feather flock together. That is the face of APC spewing rubbish and some idiots are shouting "change". Ouch!!! |
Emmygreenp:Another Bishop again? No wonder they now force people to speak in tongue even without baptisim of the Holy Spirit. No wonder they now blow air into people's ears and forcefully push them down under the pretext of "falling under annointing". Anyway, he's better than Mbaka. |
oziduru:OP, the more Buhari and his image managers try to do damage control, the more they rob mud on his face. It's appalling that Buhari could keep and guide ordinary photograph but cannot do same for a much more valuable secondary school certificate. What a shame! |
cbrass:You are foolish, dull and mischievious. Why do you think like a nursery school pupil? Is there anybody in Nigeria that says Buhari did not attend a secondary school? Are school drop-outs not having secondary school pictures taken with their peers? So it's easier and sensible for Buhari to keep his secondary school cert at the expense of WASCE result? Daft brain! |
olisaEze:Friend, I have realised that most of the people waiving off Buari's certificate-less status are themselves products of certificate forgery, exam cheating and all sorts of vices. Some of them even holds certificates from exams written by paid agents, how would they not celebrate a WASCE-less Buari who's aspiring to rule the no. 1 country in Africa? It's a pity how Nigeria has become a country of failures and mediocrity. |
NairalandOP:God bless you. |
philips70:And so? Didn't Judas hug(kiss) Jesus before selling him off to the Pharisees? I beg GEJ TILL 2019. |
Mekateka:You got it. I am not sure there's anybody in Nigeria who's 100% comfortable with our political and economic situations but what I detest to my bone marrow is the calibre of politicians in APC who parades themselves as messiahs. I look at Buhari's face and all I see is deceit and sycophancy, a liar and an unrepentant murderer. Can we entrust our lives in the hands of Tinubu, Amaechi, Kwankwaso, Lai Mohammed et al , people whose garments are soiled with fraud, embezzlement, certificate forgery, age forgery, drug addiction and peddling? I formed my opinion about APC the day the party came out with PHOTOCHROMIC BALLOT PAPER allegation sequel to their electoral loss in Ekiti. How could normal human beings go to such an extent just to score political point and bring down opponents? That's satanic. Jonathan truly has his shortcomings as a leader but he has shown in clear terms to be comparatively better than those apostles of "change" in APC. I will prefer him 10times over Buhari anytime, any day. |

Davidoff2000:OP, thank you. I fear for Nigeria, I fear for this generation and the generations to come judging from how we have allowed falsehood and misrepresentations to dictate our discuss on Nairaland .Do we have to peddle lies to score political points? I saw the Benue PDP campaign and it was a massive turnout. How can a normal and sane human being come up with such ill conceived post? If this is the way APC supporters want to go, they must be reminded that RIGHTEOUSNESS EXALTS A NATION, SIN IS A REPROACH TO IT. No amount of propaganda will catapult Buhari to Aso Rock. |
Splashme:You got it sharp sharp! Defective people with defective brain, defecting to a sinking defective ship. GEJ TILL 2019. |
OtunbaJega:Always playing pranks with Nigerians. Jega should explain how millions of underage registrants found their ways into INEC's register in 2011 and how they managed to vote enmass for Buhari's CPC in that year's presidential election. |
Kenai:APC supporters are callous and selfish. I am not sure 80% of Buhari's supporters would allow their 72 years old fathers to be facing the torture Buhari is going through in his campaigns. In Cross Rivers, Buhari almost fell flat on his face when he stumbled while mounting the podium and my heart pulped up. As a patriotic Nigerian, I will never pray for the fate of late Yaadua to befall this nation again. If anything happens to the Daura man, Nigerians should hold Tinubu, Amaechi, Oyegun and APC ostrich supporters accountable. |

Because he will probe them. The question we need to ask ourselves is, do we want to continue in this path that lead to nowhere? How long shall we be fooled.
