RomanceRe: My Fiance Impregnated Another Girl by olanajim(m): 8:25pm On Aug 31, 2008
I am afraid, walking away from the guy and starting afresh may hurt you more than what you just experience.

Everyone asked you to start afresh without probing deeper.

I am not going to be inhuman. I will just ask questions before judging. That is if you are real

Lol
that spammer would stop chatting you the moment he read this. You are wasting his money and killing his business for him.

I branched at a cybercafe yesterday to scan some documents. It was needed urgently. So to kill time, I sat down to browse so I don't waste my money.

Sitting next to me was a young handsome. At first I didn't noticed him. But then, when I did, I observed he was sweating. He ordered for coke and meatpie while mopping his forehead with hanky. I suspected he had been there for long. Somehow, he was making call and browsing, and appeared to be very serious.

I decided to steal glance at his monitor to see what he was doing. Right on the screen were pictures of beautiful ladies. He was busy searching for more and sending mails to them after checking their profiles.

I observed this yoruba man writing his address as Benin Republic with strange foreign names! Wao, looking at him, I figured he must be a yorubaman.

So this is it? I asked myself. I wish I were not in hurry to leave the cafe!

Well, the guy is damn lucky. He got at least 3 'customers', judging from what I saw on the screem.

I simply walked out muttered "God help the poor ladies"

CodeRED,
You are getting the point now. I wish those ladies who had vowed never to have anything to do with men read it.

As you rightly observed, those ladies are giving victory to their oppressors once they resolve never to love again. The man would go out and find another woman and continus his life. While the lady pine away in sorrow, with hate filled hearts that shorten their own lives. To such women, finding love, is the only way to humiliate their unfair ex-lovers.

Next is changing men. Hmmmm! True true!! Some ladies think they can do it. Surely, a lady can change a man, but the man must be willing to change. Otherwise, it would be an effort in futility

@poster,
there is no rule sorry.

Read your book, eat mama food, sleep, wake up and take care of yourself. Take charge of your pocket.

Be yourself. Don't be a photocopy!

FamilyRe: Pls Advice, Mu Hubby Is Cheating On Me Cos I Saw The Love Text Sent To A Lady On by olanajim(m): 10:49pm On Aug 30, 2008
@poster,
if you confront the girls and they insult you, what would be your next line of action?

How long have you been married to the cheat of a husband and when did you start suspecting he is cheating?

Becareful, plan before you embark on any war!
RomanceRe: I've Had Enough Of Men! by olanajim(m): 10:18pm On Aug 30, 2008
I quite agree with you.

Guess what? Some people look at the mirror and still believe the image that confront them belongs to their enemy!
RomanceRe: I've Had Enough Of Men! by olanajim(m): 10:01pm On Aug 30, 2008
CodeRED,
I don't want to believe that men must continues to lie to women just to impress them. You are reasonable in the sense that you didn't generalise. Most ladies that are hurt would blame all men. Like the poster, the believe that once a man is bad, all men are bad. They therefore stop trusting men and treat responsible men like shit.

When a determined man come, he would study the lady, and the "adjust" to what she want. Before you say "bingo", she is in love again. Inevitably, she would be disappointed. Then the cycle would repeat itself.

Stereotyping lead to nothing but disappointment. It also blindfold the carrier and prevent him or her from seeing the real men.

Seun was right. Ladies fail to understand that real men don't stoop so low as to impress ladies by lying, knowing fully well that she would eventually find out.

My advice to ladies is to start looking beyond "words" and "appearances". Any lady that is easily sway by words, and glamour is sending application letter to disappointment. It takes time to know human being. Love shouldn't be a 5 minutes attraction.
RomanceRe: Ladies I Need your Advice Urgently Pleaseee.....it killing me by olanajim(m): 3:13pm On Aug 30, 2008
I quite understand the guy. He is afraid of his own shadow. He need sympathy and nothing more.

Beyond that, I believe he has reasons for thinking you would cheat too. He must have seen something the rest of us had not seen.

If you are clean, why not turn him into your bodyguard? Let him follow you everywhere and it won't be long before he become an object of ridicule.

RomanceRe: Guys Beware Of This Scammer! by olanajim(m): 9:09pm On Aug 28, 2008
First, the "person" is not the first. I have got such mail from different emails.

Second, the person must be using a software to extract emails of members.

Third, you guys are giving him unduly publicity.

Finally, I strongly believe that he/she know quite well that some mugu would fall for the trick.

I think, those of us with stony hearts should trick him/her until he/she walk into disgrace. It is not difficult.

Those who are not up to the task should simply block the address.
RomanceRe: Romance Scammers Abusing Nairaland by olanajim(m): 8:55pm On Aug 28, 2008
Seriously, anyone who fall for the scam is a fool of the highest order. I have got quiet alot of such mail even when I was inactive on nairaland.

The scammers keep saying they saw my profile and picture on nairaland. But in truth, I have never placed my real picture on nairaland. Neither have I edited my profile! It doesn't take a lie detector to know that someone is lying.

While it is ok for people to meet and relate, I strongly, believe that any relationship to be contracted MUST be closely scrutinized.

I actually had fun with one of the scammers by replying her mail. I gave her the EFCC lagos office address as my address! Let her walk herself into trouble! You see, the goals of such scammer is to defraud. We can all help sanitise the system by luring them into the waiting arms of law, It is so simple for me. I just wonder why some chap fell for the tricks. I pity them!
PoliticsRe: Yaradua now admits he is sick and needs a kidney while ministers keep lying... by olanajim(m): 8:37pm On Aug 28, 2008
$$Rhino,
you got me wrong! Yar'adua obviously want to die a martyr. It is clear from the day he was nominated as PDP flagbearer that he is sick. But, someone, somewhere, somehow keeps urging him to move on. It is clear that he need to change his adviser if he and his wife are blind to reality.

First, Nigeria had culture of forgetting her heroes. Ask Muritala's wife, Abiola's family, Sam okparaji etc. All those who had died for Nigeria would be turning in their graves today.

At a time like this, when he had succeeded in creating enemies for himself, the best thing to do is either to resign and live peacefully as the FIRST PRESIDENT TO WILLING RESIGN FROM OFFICE before his tenure end. He would be celebrated if he eventually kick the bucket. The second option is for him to start eliminating his foes, including Goodluck, so that if he die in office, Aso Rock would be renamed after him!
FamilyRe: Help Their Marriage Is About To Collapse by olanajim(m): 7:05pm On Aug 27, 2008
There is hope! There is a way out. If the husband truly want her back. He can work it out. But before I contribute. Could you shed more light on whether the lady actually employed spiritual means against her boss? To the best of my know only witches and spiritualists use the word "dead meat".

Secondly, do you have influence over d lady? Or the husband? Is there anyone who have influence over the husband?

Are the two godly? What kind of r/ship is their marriage like before the bubble burst? I asked this because, it is possible the couple are not happy together in the first place.

Finally, what kind of person is the lady?

@topic,
the man is uninformed. He is a muslim by name not a real muslim.

He was right somewhere though. He was right to say that the quran did not specified punishment for marrying more wives. He was not alone in that kind of thinking. My sentiment is: must he wait to see the punishments awaiting offenders before he realises that it is for his own good? I wonder who told him that quran specified punishments for every sin. Maybe he need a new revealation to put him through.

FamilyRe: Help Their Marriage Is About To Collapse by olanajim(m): 10:09am On Aug 25, 2008
Can the story be real? Why on earth would a marry woman found herself in her boss bedroom? What did the woman do after the boss was "forgiven" by the husband? How did she find out about the "bribe" given to her husband? And did she continues working with boss after the rape incidence? Where is she working now? Is the boss married? If yes, what was his wife reaction?

Yeah, platonic friendship isn't a date. It is just friendship.

As for real double dating. It is ok as long as you let the other person have the same priviledge.
