I have decided to migrate to Nilesat with a 2.4m solid pan dish since that is where the action seems to be.
Can anyone please tell me the minimum signal strenght i need to achieve on Nss 7 to guarantee a shot at Nilesat.
as long as you have a very good dish. NSS 7 na ashawo, not really a basis for the quality of your nile signal. you should be able to hit upto 95-97% on your 4652. tracking nss is just to ascertain you are on the right track, as nile is a little to the left and then elevated of NSS 7, try tracking with 11862, 11823 preferable early morning or anything from 4pm.

i noticed from loading the mytv patches that it affects the etv 6969 option. all you need to do is go and change the polarization of the dish and your etv will work again, for your MYTV to work, you need to go back and change it to the default.

I really miss Foxnews and Skynews, and my VH1, !! I'll give an arm and a leg for VH1.

Help guys!!
ok, since you put it like that, give me your right and and your left leg, so that you can still maintaing some balance before you go back and check previous posts for alternate sites where you can get downloads for your decoder. it helps to know the decoder type first though, i think is should either be a an eta or an epsillon. some one should correct me if i  am wrong.

@all

digitv on thor 1W is very receivable here and keys are still very much active. those with 2.4m and above should try and give us some feedback. i remember hitting green on my 1.8m dish in season one on that bird. i believe that the map is as close as nile to us.

hey sathob, long time. I think I saw the George D post when he edited it. I need a patch for 4622x II. Any help?
since such strong decoders are meant to be used in the middleeast, check the middle east section of crosat for any information regarding the decoder type, i hope this links helps:

hxxp://www.crosat.org/aploud/index.php?&direction=0&order=mod&directory=Strong%20Receivers/Strong%20WIZKID%20Files/Strong%204%20Middle%20East.

let me know if it helps.
