working on getting the dongles to naija, the problem right now is the feasibility, the dongle needs access to certain tp on W3 and W6, and those tps right now are not even receivable on 2.4m dishes. here they are

W3= 11283v 27500 and 11262h 27500
w6 = 11617v 26500. anyone with green on any of this tp should let me know asap.

please how can i convert death iradetor card to coco card?
the info you need is the animgr home page.

@all

regarding virus on anaimgr home page, it is the most ludicrous thing i have heard, the redirect you get when you try to download is to a file sharing site., we should try and stop misinforming other members. when in doubt, questions should be asked, this is afterall a forum.

the "" card works on all receiver types and unlike abra card, it is splitable with cardsplitters.

Thank You.

stop stating the obvious, besides, leave dagbo discussions for the back yard. please edit ya post.

@kaddy

signal splitters on weak frequencies will not work well for you, especially when you need to change channels on the 2nd decoder to maybe an H transponder channel. consider getting a dual output LNB like Premium 2 or panorama. U will need to cut them both to receive good signals on Nilesat down here in the south.

what LNB type are you using. is it open? try peep inside for spider webs.also trying tightening the bolts that holds the dish to the neck as well as the bolts holding the jack, these are all things that can cause your signal to drop. Me i have learned the hard way with all these observations.

Greetns to all my satellite gurus on d forum.
Pls has any1 eva used, or hear about ds decoders: XCRUISER XDSR 200 AND XDSR750? I larnt d XDSR 200 is a universal smart card reader, Hw is d performance compared 2 d STRONG series for FTA channels?
In adition, for those using Strong DX, can it read all cards? I mn DSTV, HI TV, MY TV, --- etc.
I knw d gurus are standing by to respond. thnx guys
i believe that all these 'sikes' of 'gurus' in the house before asking a question is totally uncalled for.

the xcruiser series of decoder that i know of is basically a cardsharing and PVR decoder, except you have a very good internet service and a dedicated cardsharing server, then you can buy them, STRONG is cheap and gets the Job done with the added benefits of keys and patches sometimes, it also reads all card types.  and really if what you are after are FTA channels then you do not need a receiver that has a universal card reader, get it?

@osef

4663x or 4653x is not the best when it comes to tracking birds like nilesat, since they don;t respond well until you have a lock on a particular frequency. trying getting a 4652 to track. in the same light, since 10758 is down, you can track with 11862, it's equally strong and will achieve the same result for you.

what channels are in those freq on nilesat that you mentioned. I discovered a drastic reduction in signal on my 2.4M and since I am in the north, I found it very strange.
the 10758, this is the tp used to general track nilesat, while the 12341 is the one containing dubai sport 2 and spacetoon english.

how's madam and the baby? hope they are well, all roads leads to your house next sunday?

@ all Re Nilesat

A new satellite has deployed at the 7w orbital position; in the UK it means even poorer (in fact no) signal on some frequencies that had been difficult in the first place; I don't know its effect on what is receivable in West Africa; time will tell.
what new satellite are you talking about?

Is the keymaker you were reffering to for softwares or fta. if it's for general software. it just an application that provides you with keys to be able to use commercial softwares for free. normally this software requires activations key which is provided by this keymakers. note of warning though, majority of them have embeded trojans which can compromise the safety of your PC, always scan with a good antivirus before use, I personally recommend kaspersky Internet security.

i stumbled upon an unusal discovery in the most unlikely of places. it's a fully motorized bandoned 5m dish on a private farm somewhere near the nigeria-lome border. it's been there for more that 15 years, if not more. here are pictures, am planning on refurbishing it (if the owner agrees to a good price), i need input from everyone here with experience with such task, especially butoneday. underneath is the picture of the invacom LNB before cutting it.

Thanks.
Could you post the frequencies and the quality?
Did you tilt your antenna as well?
how will posting my own frenquecies and quality help your installation?, try and  peak on  your 10758 and then try and secure your bbc, 11766 and jsc sport 12284. and then check you art 11958v, you should be fine if you can get bbc to stay throughout the day.

yes you will need to tilt since the satellite is at 7w.

F_Marshal:
Did you set your L.O. (LNB Frequency) to 10750 and LNB Type to Standard or Single? and for the Circular the L.O should be 11250.
Not quite! Most of the LNBs for USA is mostly linear or Circular, therefore if used in Europe and Africa, since all the birds are Universal, you don't get the frequencies from 11400 to 11690 or so, but you should be able to pull in frequencies from 11700 and above assuming all your settings are correct.
roger that, but seems a lot of channels on the aforementioned frequencies will be lost. how u dey?
