So, where is the link to your international research and findings? And we want to see in that finding (link), that school from your end that has produced and still producing world acclaimed scholars, profs and professionals. Ensure you dont spent 3/4 of your life in bitterness ![]() |
ChinenyeN:You dont struggle with others on the culture section You dont insult. . unlike |
It's not their fault, the guy caused it. ![]() |
Pray for Nigeria but dont tell God what to do cos your wish may be keeping pple in bondage (you may be praying amiss). . . .just pray that God should have his way in the country. It can be very frustrating to keep encouraging a 96yrs (1914) old man after 50yrs (1960) of leaving his parents to stand alone. If a fool at 40 is a fool forever, what then is a fool at 50? |

You remind me of them back in school . . . they have this confidence about it and see nothing wrong with it. We even saw the picture of two igbo lesbian kissing and snapping pics. And some romancing in the female rooms if you dont knock before you go in. Someone said it has to do with their culture. |

My God All I have read is here is more than scary . . .my sister has OND and willing to take a PT degree prog in Lasu if they sell their form this yr but all what I have read are just the SAME with my friend's experience who has just started writing her project since 2003 or 2004 that she gained admissn. She said she can never advise anyone to go there. Infact, last weekend she told me how she paid her project supervisor N25000 before he could approve her topic . . . what kind of sch is this, maybe I should tell my sister to stay off but she is taking lasu as a last option cos the Int. relatns she want to study as PT is not available in Unilag. I'm confused. ![]() |

For all those who think the story is a lie. And those say they want to see the new wife's picture |
General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi took a new wife last week in London. When the news broke, it sparked mixed reactions. While some felt it was in order, not a few wondered why the 71-year old cleric needed a new wife. The church has opened up on the turn of event, reports Assistant Editor (News) OLUKOREDE YISHAU Dressed in a modest suit, Pastor William Kumuyi and Esther Blaize , clad in a pink and purple skirt suit, exchanged the marriage vow last Wednesday. Guests were later ushered into the Crowne Plaza Hotel, London for a reception ceremony. And just like that, the General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry got married for the second time. Two days ago, key leaders of the church across the country, who were not privileged to attend the modest ceremony, were made to watch the video of the proceedings. Pastor Kumuyi lost his first wife, Biodun on April 11 last year. He took the news with calm. He even went on to handle the convention and shocked many by preaching at the funeral of his late wife. At the time of her death, Kumuyi was 70 years old. When asked last year if he was going to take a new wife, he said it was too early to think of that. With his age, not a few also thought he might just stay unmarried for the rest of his life. A statement by the church yesterday said Kumuyi’s decision to remarry was not entirely his. The statement endorsed on his behalf by the church’s Secretary, Pastor L Nnadozie said his marriage to Esther sparked joy and spontaneous happiness among members of the church. The statement reads: “Pastor Kumuyi had lost his wife, Biodun in April last year. The death of the woman affectionately called ‘mummy’ or ‘mama’ by members of the church, became a cause for concern for leaders in the church as she was almost inseparable from her husband. The church leaders were so concerned that the pastor must not remain lonely, that they led a delegation to encourage him to begin praying to God to give him another wife. The leaders also began praying for their pastor to get another partner. Although initially reluctant, Pastor Kumuyi later prayed and testified to the leaders that God had answered their prayers. This is what culminated in the marriage ceremony in London.” The statement revealed that the new wife, whose other names are Folashade Aduke, is the National and International Woman Co-odinator of the church. She is 65. And wait for this: she was never married, because, according to Nnadozie, she committed her life to the Lord. http://thenationonlineng.net/web3/news/17253.html

Horrible things keep surfacing everyday . . .father sleeping with daughter . . . son sleeping with mother . . .and this one even had the guts to go into marriage and publicize it. Signs of end time |
chaircover:Got it very right from start to finish. Also, the poster is supposed to act as a loving big sister to the children after which they will later take her as their mum but I am sure she was busy doing "I am your father's wife to them", you created the vacuum now it is difficult to fill. Go back and fill the vacuum or if they were your children wouldnt you know how to take care of them, would you have brought their case to NL? Go back and apologise to them, then do the right thing. |
I understand your complain but what is the probability you will make the jamb result, meet cut-off mark for desired sch? It can be much more frustrating. Is your current prog PT or FT? Are you already in part 2? But some pple are still hoping to get the lasu form not that they are not aware of the time wasted but just want to get the cert and move on . . .the choice is yours anyway, just weigh your options and decide. |
The call by governor Peter Obi that ASSU/S-EAST parley be conducted in Igbo, would be wrong if others present do not understand Igbo.that does warrant the call by Dr.Ademola Aremu for revocation of the permit of the all the state universities in the zone. It is Aremu, who should be charged for tribalism.if the alleged statement were made by a South- West governor, would he make such call. All the universities in nigeria are run on the altar of tirbalism.Dr.Aremu, after late Professr K.Dike, when l did a non-yoruba person made the of VC Ibadan, non-igbo UNN,non-hausa ABU etc.To the s-east govts, it is shameful and disgraceful, the y cannot adhere to agreements
The boldened line sounds funny cos I dont know how you expect the Calabar, Yoruba, Tiv, Idoma, ND, Edo, Itshekiri, Hausa, Igala, Egbira, Kanuri, Fulani etc to understand igbo. . . .or has it become an official national lang? Are you sure Aremu is the tribalist in the context? Instead of you to shun tribalism, you are busy adding to it. |
seedord247:See hw small your brain is, cos they colonised you now mean you should sell your nationality to them or stop eating your local foods and eat burger and chocolates morning, afternoon and night . . .point of correction, they didnt bring us cloth, if they did, we wouldnt have had traditional dresses cos they would have brought us up to wear jeans and suits as our outfits, we were covered b4 their arrival. Dont talk like this again or else you will soon say they taught us our languages, UNDERSTOOD? They came and took away our fore-fathers for slavery and our cultural heritages. There arrival exposed us to robbery, fornication, we had no thieves and used to trade our goods by simply putting some stones to identify the cost of the goods and walk away, when you come back, your goods and money would be intact. Let me stop here, You must be a small girl I am not condemning them but just correcting your statement b4 you start feeling inferior to them |
What position did you guys expect, if Cecilia Ibru could be given 6 months imprisonment (for stealing over N190bn) and imprisonment counts from the day she was arrested . . .meaning she had since served her prison at home and in the hospital. Whereas in this same country a hairdresser was given 15yrs without bail for defrauding a friend and a final yr student of a university was given 4 yrs imprisonment for stealing laptop (maybe the guy was just playing with his friend ), of course the guyz career is finished and doomed by the time he is back. . .and so on. |
hardywaltz:You have just started posting it yourself cos of your conscience |
See how they are holding millions of students nationwide to ransome |
Following the refusal of governors of the South-east states to implement the Federal Government/ASUU agreement, the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has called on the National Universities Commission (NUC) to revoke licenses of state universities in the region. At a news conference in Ibadan Monday, the chairman of the ASUU at the University of Ibadan, Dr. Ademola Aremu, who spoke on behalf of chairman of ASUU, Ibadan zone, Professor Akin Ajisegiri, expressed dismay at the display of tribal sentiment by Governor Peter Obi of Anambra State, who allegedly asked that ASUU/South-east governors parley be conducted in Ibo language. Aremu called on the NUC to sanction the states for consistently disrupting the academic calendar. He maintained that university education is universal and its running should not be subjected to tribal sentiment and politics of federalism. The ASUU chairman said the crisis shows that Nigerian leaders are not serious about education. http://www.dailytrust.com/dailytrust/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=5366:ASUU-calls-for-revocation-of-seast-varsities-licenses&catid=1:news&Itemid=2 |
